I noticed that the back of my sunroof is not perfectly aligned with the roof line. When i push on it from the inside it goes up and aligns properly so i was wondering if there is an "easy" way to adjust it so that it stays flushed permanently .
View 7 RepliesI recently went to Northside Lexus for the two TSB on hesitation. The service lady sent me a print out telling me all the dealer fixes that I need to do. This print out told me that I need new tires.
I went at the one on 1960 in Houston. The service manager looked up my records and found out that I purchased a new set of Michelin Pilot MXM4s in Jan. 2010. I have 12,000 miles on these tires and they are all at 3/32s. He told me that they did not have any warranty. Then we both agreed that this is not right for MXM4s. Bought a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus to replace the previous set. He gave me 1/2 off the price of a new set.
We could see that all four tires were wearing on the inside. Discount tire guys told me that Lexus sets the alignment on the LS to wear on the inside. They said Lexus does this on all their sports sedans. Did I have bad tires or did I have a bad alignment?
I have a 2007 Azera with a sunroof problem. Went to open the sunroof and found out it would not slide back, it would only lift up in the back. Went to close it and it would lower some, but not all the way. It goes to lower but then there is a click in the mechanism and it won't close completely. Tried the manual close to no avail.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2007 nissan Altima and the sun roof is not working. It does not go back when you press the button. The vent will go up when you press the vent button on the sunroof but the sunroof itself will not go back. I have checked fuses and it's not that. Also it seems that the top of the sunroof on the outside of the car seems to be dropping down slightly on the left side. Could it be off track?

Mechanic #1 says the control arm needs to be replaced.
Mechanic #2 says the strut needs to be replaced. No comment on control arm.
Could it be both? Or neither?
I've had every lexus model (besides the LFA) and I just purchased another GS 350. Now I know I know....dealership can set the settings for my unlock button to automatically set my windows down and sunroof back. But as we all know going to the dealership for anything is so annoying. That being said.... How to set/program it?
View 6 RepliesI own a 2007 Acura TL (3.2) with 130K miles. Last October I hit a pot hole which blew my front driver side tire and bent my rear driver side wheel and upper control arm. After replacing both tires, wheel, control arm and having the car realigned twice by two different Acura mechanics over the past 6months, my car still pulls left at highway speeds. I've noticed that the tires have gotten louder while driving and that both passenger side tires have worn significantly but only on the outer most edge (left side facing car). Before I buy any more tires and spend more $ on alignments, why is the car pulling left? What else could wrong with my suspension?
View 10 RepliesA couple weeks ago I went home sick from work, doped up on medication. We ran through the drive through for dinner, and it was really cold out. Woke up in the morning to find ALL my windows down and the sunroof open.......and it snowed about 1/4 inch. My wife went with me and she was sober, and swears that all the windows were up when we went in the house. Now, I am at work and had a customer come in and tell me that my windows were down, and the sunroof was open half way. This time I KNOW FOR A FACT that they were up and the sunroof was closed when I parked it.
View 4 RepliesThis past week it was raining like a lot and as i was driving my son mentioned to me that he saw a water drop coming from the corner of the sunroof and i checked to make sure the roof was closed and it was fully closed. What caused this leak this is the first time my son said it has ever happen.

It connects perfectly fine and shows that its playing, but theres no audio that comes out. I've tried to switch channels and it does the same thing, play and no sound. how i would fix this issue?

View 8 RepliesSo I noticed I had some wind noise on the highway coming from my sunroof. It was actual wind coming through the dry rotted seals around the glass. Well I got really lucky and a truck kicked something up on the highway and it went right through the glass. Called the insurance company and since glass is covered free in Ma, they shipped an OEM sunroof to the local shop. Got it put in this morning, and it is all quiet again.

I am looking for info on how to remove the sunroof/ dome light panel, I removed the two screws in the sun glasses holder so the front is released but the back seems solid. I removed the bezel around the garage door opener buttons, hoping to find more screws but no. Is it held by clips or is there something I'm missing?

View 1 RepliesSo my o7 es350 with 75k on it just started acting really strange. I noticed while at a traffic light the temperature gauge was right in the beginning of the red zone. After being there for around 20 seconds it dropped back into the normal range. Then while driving it would randomly shoot up very quickly and then back down again, just as quickly (a couple seconds).
I sat and idled it for a while and the gauge slowly creeped back into the red, then in a matter of 15 seconds dropped back into the normal range. I checked the fan, and coolant levels and both seem to be fine. I called the dealership, but they were no dice at all.
