2014 LS460L "Check headlight system" error popped up. Since the RV mirror failed as well apparently the system is not getting the light sensor signal from the mirror and brings up the HL error. Where is the RV mirror fuse? I took off the fuse cover to the left under the steering column but can't find it. It's not practical to unplug and check all 26 fuses, owner manual is useless...

This message displays on and off about every other day. Yesterday, I hooked an OBD2 scanner up and discovered the following error code history:
P0171 : System Too Lean Bank 1
P0174 : System Too Lean Bank 2
P0022 : "A" Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Retarded Bank 2
P0335 : Crankshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit
P2195 : 02 Sensor Biased/Stuck Lean Bank 1 Sensor 1
Every now and then the engine will run a little rough, but usually at low RPM, and (again) not very often. The car has 166,000 miles of mostly highway driving.
I changed my headlight bulbs yesterday with D4S bulbs with 12K purple. After driving about an hour, the dash popped up a message saying headlight system failure, have dealer check headlight system. Both headlights are still on. I'm wondering why it is doing that? Hate to go back in and change it out again. It was a pita to change the bulbs.

View 14 RepliesSuddenly got the "check tire pressure system" error (not the tire pressure one) so I tried the only procedure I could find, turning ignition on and holding reset tpms button below steering colum. Got the tpms resetting message but the previous message came back. How can I fix that issue? Never had that before.
View 14 Replies1. I think my battery is getting weak.... when i cranked it, it didnt sound strong and the original battery eye says to add distilled water. I am thinking about getting a replacement battery at Costco.
2. so right after it started, the message of "Check Brake System" shows up. Tried to restart but no go. Drove about 15 miles and all seems fine but message is still there.
* is it OK to replace with a Costco brand battery (they have a great returns policy) and is there anything i need to do before or after replacement?
* could the Check Brake System be due to the weak battery? How can I reset it?
* Anything else that can cause this error message?

View 10 RepliesI have a 2007 Camry Hybrid and got the front and rear rotors and pads changed last Friday at a shop. On Monday morning, I drove the car to a Pharmacy drive-thru and briefly stopped it. It would not start a few minutes later and showed - Check VSC System Error. Push it out of the way and then I tried re-starting, and it did. Since then it has happened a couple of times again. A little push and then it restarts. Otherwise, all error lights come on when attempting to start the car. I check the brake fluid- it is at Max or slightly higher. The driving seems ok when it is driving. What could be happening? Is there a reset button or do I have to take it to the dealer to get it scanned? I disconnected the 'positive' terminal of the battery (the negative was hard to reach) but that did not seem to change things.
View 17 RepliesI have 2007 ES350. I was driving then check engine light and VSC popped on. I went to autozone then they said p0776 & P0746. The car is still driveable. I can still drive it on the expressway. The shifting from 1-3 isn't smooth. I'm going to take it to a transmission shop.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2007 GS 430, 126,000 miles. Initially I had one faulty headlight that would not work but after turning the switch off/on, it would work again. Eventually both headlights started malfunctioning. After reading other forums, we elected to change the headlight bulbs. So far that has worked. However, after changing the bulbs, the VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) and check engine lights came on. After running the headlights and using the car to go to/from work with about 4 stops and restarts, the car reset itself and the warning lights turned off. Scared me at first because I had also just had suspension work done. However, the Headlamp Level Control System is part of the VSC system, which makes sense, just wasn't prepared for the warning lights.

So tonight I was parking the car next to the wall in front of my garage like always and an orange error light came on to check BSM system what is that? Although, I turned the car off and on it stayed on I took it for a drive down the street and it went away now every time I turn the car on its not there anymore. Is there a malfunction with the computer or something? Car has less than 5k miles ..
View 10 RepliesSo with all of the snow we've been having in the north east this is usually an error message I get almost every week. Normally this is due to the front sonar sensors being covered in ice or snow and will go away once it melts when I'm parked in the garage or is washed off.
However the past few days, I've had the car washed a few times to make sure the salt is off of the sonar on the front bumper but I'm still getting the error message stating to check the front sonar. If I leave the park assist on it works for the sides but not the front and the error message still stays on the screen. I've hand-washed the sonar sensors several times and 'massaged' them in place to maybe break up some ice behind the bumper or get the sensor to work but I've gotten nothing. Upon further inspection, one of the sensors has a deep scratch in it to where you can see past the paint of the car slightly.
I'm really not looking forward to taking the car to the dealer to have them look at the sensor because they will most likely charge me a ton. I saw a few other posts on the forums about the LS400 from '99-'00 having a similar issue and it cost them $550 to get it fixed. Obviously it's not the same car but I'm expecting a similar quote. I'm assuming the paint scratch is what is causing the issue as another post for the LS mentioned the same thing and said they had to scratch all the paint off of the sensor to make it work again.
I have a 2006 RX400h. On 3 occasions I've been stranded. The car won't start and I get an error/message Shift to P when Starting. However I am in Park. It's coupled with a Check VSC System warning. Service department says I have just drained the accessory battery, however nothing is being used other than standard equip such as lights, dash etc. I've had all batteries changed in the car over the 4 years I've owned it. Is this usual?
View 14 RepliesLess than 30 days ago, replaced the Timing Belt, Water Pump, Front Arm Bushings, and Power Steering High Pressure Hose on my 2007 Honda Odyssey.
Today, my wife noticed the engine was noisier than usual, then suddenly became stranded on the roadside when the power steering went out; at the same time a "Check Charging System" error displayed on the panel. The van was within walking distance of home. I got it home and checked the engine, finding the Power Steering Fluid Reservoir to be nearly empty (far lower than the minimum line).
My questions - am I right to think Honda blew it? Does the above scenario sound like they simply forgot to refill the fluid after their repair? Or other? If negligence, what sort of damage may have resulted that I should be on the lookout for? Finally, why is the "Check Charging System" light coming on as a result of this?
After only 1k miles after purchase my Check Engine light as come on. P0440 and one other (left the paper at work)
I haven't overfilled on Gas, the Gas Cap is completely on (2 clicks), and I haven't OVERLY pushed the car either haha.
The only update was replacing the STOCK filter with K&N Drop In Filter.
I have Lexus 460 LS L 2007. Few months back changed the battery and every thing was ok. 2 months after I had problem in the sound system ( radio and dvd ) which was on and off. One month back suddenly I had all the warning lights in the dashboard on with massage saying that that the brake system is malfunctioning and check the ABS system.
I took the car to LEXUS dealer and they reprogrammed the computer abd then every thing went back to normal and the problem fixed. Two days after I had these warning lights again with the same massege. I do not know what to do ??
When I got off work today I noticed my car leaning to the right. I never noticed this before, but a fellow coworker observed it as well when we was in the parking lot. Yes I have the air suspension and was thinking if the air suspension has something to do with it. I have about 92000 miles on it right now and no warranty. How much this would cost and is it safe to drive.
View 12 RepliesJust got my new wheels. Put them on and synced the TPMS sensors. After a mile or so this alert comes on. If I turn of the car it goes away, until I drive another mile.
I got 20" wheels with 225-30-20 and 255-30-20. I see others with AWD on the forum running that setup.
Today I received a “CHECK AWD SYSTEM” warning message. Car seems to be driving okay.
