I had a low impact accident with my 2010 LS460 where the body shop replaced the bumper cover, collision cushion behind the bumper and a new grill. Below are the picture from their finished work, however I know my car should look better than this. What could be wrong/missing to cause the grill and bumper to not align correctly with my car?

View 4 Replies2013 Prius IV.... I just noticed that my right side rear bumper cover has a 1/4 inch gap between the bumper and the quarter panel. I think it's from me sitting on the bumper while tying up my shoes or something. When I apply downward pressure on the rear bumper, the gap widens. The left side is tighter, but does gap out when downward pressure is applied. In any case, the gap is annoying.

View 8 RepliesOk here is my situation:
After removing my bumper cover and reinstalling it, my DRLs are dead. The harness is reconnected and the turn signals distress signals work.
I unplugged the left DRL, turn signal to see if the right would work and vice versa and I still cannot get either to come on.
I checked the fuse and that isn't popped.
I turned the car to the DRL marker mode and auto mode and everything works except the DRLs.
I even took the bumper cover off again and inspected the harness.
Replace the front bumber cover on gx? Mine has a crack and I can get another one but wasn't sure how difficult it would be to swap it out, I guess the toughest part would seem to be the fog lights.
View 6 RepliesI'm having the bumper cover replaced on my 350 (stupid mistake on a number of fronts it's starting to look like...) and the indy shop that I chose in my town to do the job (Lexus dealer is 100 miles away and this shop was recommended by the guys that take care of all the Lambos/Ferraris/Porsches etc) told me that they had to drill the holes in the bumper cover to retro fit the sensors. Is this correct?

View 6 RepliesI recently went to Northside Lexus for the two TSB on hesitation. The service lady sent me a print out telling me all the dealer fixes that I need to do. This print out told me that I need new tires.
I went at the one on 1960 in Houston. The service manager looked up my records and found out that I purchased a new set of Michelin Pilot MXM4s in Jan. 2010. I have 12,000 miles on these tires and they are all at 3/32s. He told me that they did not have any warranty. Then we both agreed that this is not right for MXM4s. Bought a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus to replace the previous set. He gave me 1/2 off the price of a new set.
We could see that all four tires were wearing on the inside. Discount tire guys told me that Lexus sets the alignment on the LS to wear on the inside. They said Lexus does this on all their sports sedans. Did I have bad tires or did I have a bad alignment?
My front bumper has its paint peeling off very fast, I could get whole bumper painted but is there anything that I can do at home ...

I know this may be kinda tacky to some but i keep seeing these audi's driving around and the headlights with the LED DRL's always catch my eye. I ordered a set of led DRL and i want to install them either inside the headlight housing or around the rim of the housing if i cant get the font plastic off. How to remove the bumper cover so i can access the bolts that holds the headlights in.
Headlight assembly without damaging the plastic lens . I've seen some other guys toss a toyota matrix assembly in the oven at 350 for 3 minutes to soften the adhesive and then pry apart the front lens off the housing. Would this work with the ls460 or would it damage some of the internals. I have hid and the movable projectors (afs i think its called)....

View 5 RepliesWhere is the fog light relay located in the car? I have checked the fuse and the bulb everything is fine but it wont turn on.
1. Fog light fuse still good (even try to switch to new fuse) the fog light wont turn on at all.
2. Check the connection wire everything is in intact.
3. High beam still working fine using the stalk but fog light still not working. Yes, we can only use fog or high beam, but the issue is low beam and fog not even working.
4. Before the Fog light problem, the driver side fog light is blown. So I replace it with the new bulb. Everything is OEM part there are no aftermarket part or HID .
5. This happen about a week after the driver side bulb blown then all sudden the fog just not working at all.
I have a 2012 SE v6 with 1600 miles on it. About a week ago, I noticed my bumper cover pulled away from the corner of the headlight and there was a noticeable gap. I pushed on it, and heard a click. The bumper stayed in place. After a couple days driving, it came loose again. I didnt touch it so the Service Writer would see it first hand. Of course, his first instinct was to puch on it, but I got loud quickly, so he kept his hands to himself, and heard me out. I knew if he clicked it back into place I would be SOL. He admitted something needed to be done, not just click it back.
When I picked it up, he said it was a known issue, and there is a TSB on it. He claimed they replaced a bracket. The invoice reads, "ADDED FELT TO TIGHTEN FIT". Yeah, Im sure that will hold just long enough for them to wash their hands of it.
I have a 2012 Camry and was wondering how to remove the rear bumper cover? Someone backed into me so I have a shallow dent I want to pop out of the plastic.
View 6 RepliesSo I'm trying to remove the rear bumper cover on a '15, but it has been a royal pain. I went in thinking that the procedure would be similar to what it is on the '14, but it is way more involved. The biggest issue I'm having is removing the large plastic triangular side bracket. It has these weird T-nuts fastened to the body, which you cant remove, and the whole thing looks like it would need to slide upwards to get it off, but you wouldn't have enough room because the shape of the body just gets in the way.
