View 5 RepliesDo you need to take off the bumper?
View 2 RepliesHow to remove the rear bumper, I have to drill some holes to install some back up sensors. I rather not but I don't know if anything is behind there.
View 1 RepliesI have an 07 King Ranch. I need to remove the rubber step off the rear bumper to paint it. Due to a typical Ford paint job it is rusting already. Can I just pull up on it ? If so should I wait for a warm day to prevent breaking the clips?
View 3 RepliesReplace the front bumber cover on gx? Mine has a crack and I can get another one but wasn't sure how difficult it would be to swap it out, I guess the toughest part would seem to be the fog lights.
View 6 RepliesMine managed to become partially dislodged by a piece of retread on the way home from WitW '13.
It's not flapping around or hitting the exhaust or anything, but I want to get it back in place. I tried to just jam it in there but it didn't want to stay. I'm thinking full removal and reinstall is my best option at this point.
I know one of the clips on the painted bumper section is cracked, so that may be some of the problem.
Hoping I can get it back in place and then use some plastic epoxy on the clip, trying not to glue the valance to the clip but repair the clip itself...
I've heard it can be a huge PITA to remove? To be fully clear here -- I'm just talking about the black plastic stuff around the exhaust. All of the painted parts are intact (other than a cracked clip that I can see on the lower plastic painted section).
I need to remove the bumper to replace the reflectors for some lead breaking lights, so I'll also need to find the rear break lights cables to jump this leds.
View 14 RepliesHaving problems with the paint chipping on the rear bumper? Dealer said on the phone paint is only covered if it rusts. Will bring it in tomorrow for them to check, but I'm not getting a good feeling that they will cover it. Car has only 3500 miles on it! Bumper shouldn't be chipping like this.
View 18 RepliesMy rear bumper is rusting pretty bad. I have polished several times, and it comes back worse every time. Its less than 2 years old and I have mud flaps. I brought it to the dealer today, and the writer was trying to pass it off as normal.

View 6 RepliesMy wife backed the truck into a pole and bent the driver's side bumper and one of the ears on the trailer hitch (the part that bolts to the frame). I bought all the parts that need to be replaced (the left bumper end, the hitch itself, and the plastic bumper cover), gut am hesitant to try to change it all myself. How hard is it to change out all these parts? Is there a write-up any where out there for this?
View 2 RepliesSo when I was washing my car for the first time I noticed that the bumper was damaged. It can be fixed or does the bumper need to be replaced?
View 14 RepliesWhat sensors are in the front bumper? I slid out on black ice into a snow bank and it crushed in the bottom grille and as I'm clearing out the snow I noticed a sensor dangling with a broken harness that I was wondering what it was for. I have a nonFsport bumper with LED fog lights and both fog lights are operational.

DIY on removing the bumper on the 3IS-F sport
I just received my fog lights from IJDMtoy, but i have no clue how to remove the bumper!
I recently purchased a Rear Bumper Protector for 2010-2014 Toyota Prius for my 2014 PIP. I thought I had it in the correct position when I removed the adhesive strips to install it but realized the next day that the curvature is not lined up properly causing a gap in between the bumper and the protector. My stomach sank when I realized this error.
View 8 RepliesI recently got my UW F-Sport roof vinyl wrapped with gloss black. A local shop didn't want to wrap the antenna cover and recommended I get an obsidian black cover instead. So, I went to the dealership, ordered the part and now I have the cover. I looked up threads here on CL thinking it'd be an easy 5 minute DIY but apparently that's not the case. One member said he had to remove the interior c-pillar trims, part of the headliner etc. etc. Another said to just remove the rear seat light dome and someone else said the a dealership just prys it off. I tried the light dome, all I was able to get to were the bulbs.
View 4 RepliesLooking to just take off the cap to have wrapped in vinyl. Is there a way to get the cap only without having to remove the light fixture? I was also going to take it off early and try the plasti dip with glossifier to see if i can match the gloss black vinyl on the roof to avoid seams on the shark fin.
View 14 RepliesHave trouble with the drivers side not seating in the bumper pocket? Mine pops out on one corner weekly. I'm not sure if it would come out completely.
View 14 RepliesI'm having the bumper cover replaced on my 350 (stupid mistake on a number of fronts it's starting to look like...) and the indy shop that I chose in my town to do the job (Lexus dealer is 100 miles away and this shop was recommended by the guys that take care of all the Lambos/Ferraris/Porsches etc) told me that they had to drill the holes in the bumper cover to retro fit the sensors. Is this correct?
View 2 RepliesI have been trying to remove the tail lights to install LEDs. Are there more bolts than just the two bolds on the outside?
View 4 RepliesHow to remove the rear air vents in the center console? The black directional piece that adjusts the air left-right, has fallen into the vent so I need to remove the outer vent to put it back in place.
