Is it possible to put RCF/GSF seats into an IS? If so, where I can get a set?

View 2 RepliesI have a 2014 IS350 F sport and I don't like how the heated seats when turned on max heat, it automatically decrease in heat level over time. Is there anyway you can set it to stay max hot? I don't like how it goes to Min setting after 10-15 mins or so.
View 2 Replies2014 ES 300 hybrid- Rear seats are extra warm to hot. Took my car twice to the dealer and they are not able to locate the problem.
View 1 RepliesI just bought my car a few weeks back in July. I noticed that the seats appeared to be hotter with the A/C on. It turned out, I was right. With the seat heaters OFF and A/C ON, the seats would get hot.
I've posted an infrared video here .... Infrared showing seats of 2015 Lexus IS350 F-Sport - YouTube
For reference, I also made a video of normal heating (e.g., seat heat ON) ... Infrared of normal seat heating - 2015 Lexis IS350 F-Sport - YouTube
And you can see that the heating areas are different.
The dealer says this isn't happening. 2015 IS350 F-Sport
2014 Sonata had issues with the driver and passenger seats only getting warm? We just bought the car and the seats never get hot. The seats are warmer when I get in the car at the end of the day than they are when the heated seats are turned on.
View 12 RepliesI have a 2014 Prius C Four. It just ticked over 5000 miles on the odo and I really like this car so far. There are a few annoying things, one of which is the way the heated seats work. In my other car, the heated seats had three heat levels. Once you set it, the seats come up to temperature and stays there. The Prius heated seats are just on/off. The annoying part is that when you turn it on, the heat is really inconsistent. For the past few winter months, I pretty much leave the seat heaters on all the time. During my commute, the seat temperature will go up and down about a dozen times. The temperature will rise to an almost uncomfortable level then drop back down to where you can barely tell they are on. The temperature cycles up and down and it's really annoying.
View 6 Repliesi have a 2011 fx4 the other day the power seat stopped working and i could hear a clicking sound coming from under the seat. I have searched on google and have found its very common on the older trucks to have a wire splice issue i was wondering if that applies to the 2011 or if there is any other common power seat issues.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2014 f 350 super cab xlt. Ford design engineers should be ashamed. But really who has installed the older (2009 ish) ford seat in there trucks for a little more comfort? How much fabrication was needed? Hate to say it but if I cant put the older truck seats in I'm going to buy GMC. These seats really suck.
View 3 RepliesThis morning, the driver's heated seat in my 2012 Lariat did not seem to operate properly. (It worked fine approx 14 hours earlier.) Note that my seats have both the heat and cool options.
I started the truck (its NOT garaged and the air temp was -5 F, which has been kinda typical lately) and turned on the driver's heated seat to high (level 3). I noticed that the seat's 'air noise' was more than normal (I've always noticed a more air noise with the 'cool' setting .........
No, I was not using 'cool' instead of 'heat' !) and that the seat never warmed up during the 10 minute drive. (Normally it would be noticeably warm in less than 5 minutes.) The 'air noise' seemed to cycle off/on toward the end of the drive. I did not have a passenger, so I did not have a chance to try that seat.
I've owned the truck about 2 years and had never run into this before.
I have a 2011 lariat with the heated leather seats, out of a sudden the passenger side stopped working. Light comes on but no heat. We did notice leading up to this it was getting extremely hot to the point it was too much heat. Fuse is good?
View 10 RepliesWe havent use our heated/AC seats for awhile. Now we noticed that the heated/AC seats will goes lower after awhile.
I asked the dealer and they're told me is normal. Lexus designed that way. wtpho!
I'm currently using a 2016 NX200t loaner and both heated/ac seats stayed on at the same fan speed.
Is it normal or dealer just playing with me?
Can they be replaced or are they part of the actual seat?? Mine was ripped in accident so just see if they can fix that one part or does the seat need to be replaced which seems a little extreme to me.
View 13 RepliesThe driver and passenger hip bolster (side facing the door) had a fold under the leather... When I took it in for warranty they said the heating element in the seats came loose. It's probably from getting in and out of the car, and they replaced the entire element, but the GX only had about 12k miles and is 2 years old.
View 1 RepliesJust picked up brand new LX570 a few days ago, however I could not turn off the front air conditioning even though have tried so many times of pressing the A/C icon on the screen.
View 6 RepliesI have a 2015 RX350 with 25k. New tires, two road force balance by two different dealers and I'm still getting a high frequency vibration mostly in the seats above 60mph. Dealer cannot find any issues.
View 6 RepliesI am tall 6'5" and was curious if is possible to move the seat rails back to create a bit more leg room.
View 3 RepliesTrying to lower the seat or seat rails in an SC430. I would like to get the seats down about an inch. Can the seats be taken out and distance between the bottle of the rail and the seat shortened somehow.
View 2 RepliesI've got white string coming out from my rear seats between the seam of the back part of the seat and the part that you sit on. Not sure if this is a part of the seat or something that was left over that they didn't remove.
View 6 RepliesHow does your heated seats control operation work? Does the heat control automatically decrease from position 3 > 2 > 1 > Off over-time? Or, does the heat control stay (remain) in whatever position (1 - 2 - 3) you select without any (auto) change?
What is the default operation - Auto Decrease or Stays the Same?
How to change the heated seat operation method? I recall seeing somewhere to hold both heated seat button controls down until it beeps to make a change in the method of operation...and doing the same again will change it back. How to confirm that this (change) method to be accurate?
I took this picture from the rear seat while leaning over the front seats. The two white arrows indicate where our front seats are rubbing the center console while we are seated. The rubbing makes a noise and will eventually leave a wear mark on the leather, the console or both. Any way to quiet the noise and to cushion the contact between the leather and the center console?
I'm looking for a product that is safe for leather that will decrease friction in this area so that the rubbing won't cause noise or leave wear marks on the leather. I'm only interested in treating the area of the seat that contacts the console so as not to change the overall appearance of the leather. Alternatively, I could treat the center console with a product that will make it more slippery.
Any issues with there cooled seats?? I don't seem to be getting much air flow... Almost as if the driver seat isn't flowing at all.
