I have all functions turned on inside menu options. I have Sirius xm subscription and they told me it's not a service they provide for Lexus. So I'm thinking its a service from Lexus, is this true ?
View 14 RepliesMy navigation traffic stopped showing before it would've showed on freeways mainly orange line if slow traffic and red line if heavy traffic or green if no traffic. No lines what so ever noticed this been few weeks its not showing even when I am in heavy traffic, I also checked the option is turned on to show traffic. Is there something wrong that I'm not aware of? Regarding 15 GS

View 7 RepliesI have a 2013 RX with the 'latest' navigation update. My 'home' icon for a while was a red circular looking thing. But without me doing anything, for a while I got/had a 'house' icon showing for my 'home' point on the map. It has since disappeared. It is now that red circular thingy again but with a number 2 in it?
View 4 RepliesI recently got a 2014 Lexus GS F-Sport, fully loaded. I made a dumb mistake of taking my car in to a shop to have my roof vinyl'd black. And so, they also had to blackout the shark fin antenna on top. They recommended painting it metallic black as it wouldn't have looked good wrapped. So I agreed without knowing. After painting and taking the car home, I noticed the Navigation was off and my GPS was showing me going in a completely different direction. I have calibrated it so many times and it stays on course with me for about one block then starts going off into a different direction on its own. Will removing the paint fix this? Is this something the Dealer has to handle, and if so, charge me for it?

Just installed the Vaistech iVic unit yesterday and everything seemed to function fine, but noticed once I started driving today that my Navigation unit was off. It still operated and tracked movement OK, only the maps were about 10 minutes away from where I was actually located.
I've turned off the car several times since, and also took out the Navigation disc and re-installed but it keeps putting me in the same wrong place, This all happens in the normal standard Lexus modes.
I ordered my IS 300h F-Sport (winter!). After five months of waiting, the car is now at the dealer. I went today to take a look and one thing is making me a little bit nervous...
The info screen said "Pop up hood error", I asked the salesman about it and said that the car needs preparation and be reset....
I want to believe it but my mind is taking my opinion that something triggered the pop up hood pedestrian protection... maybe a little hit? I don't know.... and maybe the salesman is being honest and it is normal.
The bumper is all ok, no signs of damage, (the car arrived yesterday and my girlfriend went to take a look).
My '05 Prius with just 16k miles on it just started displaying the red triangle with exclamation mark (multifunction warning lamp?). It displays about every 3 times I start the car... The Info screen shows the icon for the Automatic Headlight Leveling System. So Ive been searching, and have found a few threads related to this, but the fix Ive seen referenced I cannot find since the posts referencing the fix are about 5 yrs old. Exactly where on the car I can find the sensor, and how it can be fixed?
View 19 RepliesThe Navigation touch screen does not work. I can still us controls on the steering wheel, bu the touch screen is dead. I am assuming that I just buy and install a new screen? Or could there be something else to trouble shoot?
View 6 RepliesI have a 2010 F350 that has been throwing the "tire pressure monitor fault” on the dashes info center. Here is where it started. I purchased new wheels, tires and sensors a few weeks ago. I put them on and they were fine on the way home because I assume that the stock ones where still being read (they were in the bed of the truck). Put the old ones in the garage and then while driving to work the next morning I got the message. I tried to reset or “learn” the new sensors that night with no luck. There are two ways to get my truck into learn mode. One uses the hazard flashers then releasing some of the tire pressure until the truck horn beeps. The other method is a series of break pumps and turning the ignition from on to off then using the TPMS tool that apparently comes with the truck.
The truck went into learn mode every time with either method but it would never recognize the new sensors. After attempting everything on the sensors I checked to see if for some reason the trucks actual monitor was in a “fault” mode. Last night I tried relearning the old stock sensors with great luck. They all were recognized… for about 10 minutes. After getting them to work I left the shop I work at and on the way home the "tire pressure monitor fault” came back again. So just in case something had been in sleep mode when I did it I pulled over and reset them once more. Again with great luck… until this morning on the way to work again it went back to fault mode even with the stock wheels still in the bed.
So this past weekend, I disconnected my battery to just tighten one of the wires on my Nigel LED fogs. it was a little loose, upon reconnecting the battery and using the car this past week, the weather and traffic have not been updating at all. only when my phone is connected and the enform app is synced. therefore using mobile data, not HD radio signal. I am getting HD radio and I am in the same areas I usually am so I am sure the HD signal isn't the issue. Should I just disconnect the battery again?
View 7 RepliesSo the traffic appearance via the HD Data Services network seems to be random. There are times I get it and on the way back it will not appear. I live in south west CT which they claim is full coverage. It is really random and there does not be anyway to see if it is a single strength problem or not. The only indicator is on the NAV screen with the HD)) system in the upper left corner.
I realize I can force it through my cell phone, but why use up my data plan for it when supported in my current area.
When do you typically see your fuel light come on? I never need to let the tank run down very far but the other week I was curious about this. The fuel gauge was way less than 1/4 tank left and the range display was ~50kms. When I filled up shortly after it looked like there still would have been at least a gallon in the tank still.
Just feels weird because my last car (Camry) would throw the fuel light when you still had a full 1/4 left in the tank.
My is350 F sport tire pressure sensors. Well I have after market wheels with the stock tire pressure sensors, when they were first installed everything was fine, now about 2 months later now that it is a little cooler. My two back sensors are showing the warning light. it still reads the pressure and shows correct pressure but sensor warning light for both rear tires are on. Why this is? I was thinking the colder weather but why only the rear two and not the front. they go off and on but lately both have been on.
View 3 RepliesHow is it possible that the 350 F-Sport can track cars that are possibly coming at you while you're backing up, but it can't alert you to when you're getting close to a wall or other car that is stationary (aka parking senors).. Although I did back into a space yesterday and got no beeps as the car got closer to the other cars in the camera.
Another thing is having radar assist cruise control and no front parking assist... what's up with this craziness? The systems are actually installed in the car, but not able to beep at you?!
So I got my IS350 F-Sport AWD a couple weeks ago and I'm loving it so far. I just passed the break in period a few days ago . I just had a question about something happened today though. Basically I was on the highway and I was coming off of an off-ramp at about 90 km/h (~55 mph). This was a relatively sharp ramp but I was slowing down as I entered it. Anyway, the car started beeping and I saw a red message in the center of the gauge.
Unfortunately, it was there for a split second and I didn't get to read what it said. Later, after parking the car, I checked the "messages" view in the gauge cluster and there was nothing there. There was also no check engine light or anything on after either. The car seemed to drive normally before, during, and after that. Was it the VSC/TC system? Or is it something else?
I believe this is what I saw. Is it possible for it to have detected the curb coming up and that I was going fast? Does the Canadian F-Sport 3 package even have a PCS? I don't see anything about a PCS when I look at what's included in the package, but I know that it does have the radar cruise control/rear cross-traffic alerts so it doesn't seem out of the question that it could detect the curb.

View 1 RepliesI got this problem that just seems to have surfaced within the past week. The first time I noticed, I started the car and the navigation showed my position about 12 miles away in the next town over. Now its been doing the same thing nearly every time I start up the navigation. I can correct it sometimes by going into settings/position on map and manually moving the cursor to my correct location. I say sometimes it works, because 50% of the time I can move the cursor to the position I'm at and it will then work just fine but other times the nav will have my heading completely wrong (I'm going north, but nav has me going south) and it will not correct. Sometimes it will just slowly drift off my real position and eventually it won't even be on a road anymore.
Tonight, no matter how many times I tried to correct the nav by moving the cursor, it kept my heading well off of where it should be, practically 180 degrees from the way I was actually going. So as soon as I started moving again the maps would be totally off.
