So my gf parked at the mall and when she pulled out the front bumper got stuck on the parking divider and came off on the left side. One of the fastening holes appears to be torn and it appears the bumper just needs to be put back in place.

For those that have done this, will I need to cut a hole for the sensors or will the sensors still work with the wrap covering them?
What sensors are in the front bumper? I slid out on black ice into a snow bank and it crushed in the bottom grille and as I'm clearing out the snow I noticed a sensor dangling with a broken harness that I was wondering what it was for. I have a nonFsport bumper with LED fog lights and both fog lights are operational.

Tried to close the top and it stuck. The deck lid is up, top is half- way unfolded, package tray is in up position. The motor acts like it is binding with ever so slight movement when I push the button to raise or lower. The red light on the dash switch is lit (red).

I just received my fog lights from IJDMtoy, but i have no clue how to remove the bumper!
My rig is a 2013 5.0 extended cab. Seems to me that there is some "wasted space" at the front end between the bumper/grille and the radiator. I'm thinking that some sheet metal/expanded metal work or maybe some fiberglass formed to fit that the space could make a neat storage area for stuff like jumper cables, an emergency road side kit and other stuff.

View 14 RepliesI'm having the bumper cover replaced on my 350 (stupid mistake on a number of fronts it's starting to look like...) and the indy shop that I chose in my town to do the job (Lexus dealer is 100 miles away and this shop was recommended by the guys that take care of all the Lambos/Ferraris/Porsches etc) told me that they had to drill the holes in the bumper cover to retro fit the sensors. Is this correct?

View 6 RepliesI bought the car from dealer, there are now FOUR! holes on the front bumper. I don't understand why they couldn't just use the existing holes to put the license plate holder. Now I'm stuck with these holes and I'm looking for a cheap alternative to fill them. I like the clean look of the front end without the plates and don't want to spend a fortune at a body shop, but I also don't want 4 dots either. What I can do/use?
View 3 RepliesThe closest car wash is less than two miles from our home and we often bring the GX home directly from the car wash and park it in the garage. We've noticed that the parking brake remains applied when we start the GX the next morning, even though the foot pedal releases. Presumably, the parking brake components were wet from the car wash and enough rust/corrosion forms overnight so that the springs to release the brake can't overcome the 'stiction'.
The GX "squats and grunts" when we put it in gear, but doesn't move. Shifting into reverse solves the problem ... there's a loud 'pop' from the rear of the vehicle as the brake releases, the GX starts to move, but in reverse, which we quickly stop with the service brake, then we shift into forward and drive off ... did I mention that we back into our garage?
I may already have confessed that we are heavy parking brake users ... every time we park the vehicle, even if just temporarily while we step out of the vehicle to get the mail, etc. We use the parking brake so much that the cable stretches and every year our dealership has to re-tension.
My front bumper has its paint peeling off very fast, I could get whole bumper painted but is there anything that I can do at home ...
