I just saw a video of an IS350 and the mirrors folded in when it was parked and locked. The model was a hybrid, so I am not sure if that is a different option. I am looking at the IS 350 F Sport awd. Just curious what extras it will or could have.

View 14 RepliesI have a 2008 model LX-570. . . The side mirrors started to show issues. . . The left side: now completely does not fold. While the right side hesitates to fold and does not fold as smooth as before.
Is there any way to rectify this rather than going for two new pieces.
I have not found a way to fold them. But if not, is it likely to be damaged during automatic car wash?

View 4 Replies08 F-350 Lariat. Folded mirrors in twice today. Second time they would not come back out. After four hours the fold function has not returned. As I read Owner's Manual, if it's a fuse it should take out power to driver's seat . . . correct? All other mirror functions including telescope seem to work normally. So if I've identified the fuse correctly what else could it be? Fold relay? Switch? Where is the fold relay located and how can one test it? What pins on the switch are the fold pins? I just looked at power distribution box schematic. Power fold mirror relay fuse is there. Apparently the only function it has. Better go check it out.

My dealer said the windows on my 250 F sport executive pkg (Canada) should tilt down when the car is in reverse. They said the control must be either on the Lh or Rh position for it to work. I have tried both positions and it doesn't tilt when in reverse? The windows are currently locked out from the switch on the drivers door due to the tint being fresh (they said to wait a few days before rolling down the windows).

View 11 RepliesI went to the dealer yesterday to disable the steering wheel extending/returning and the side mirrors turning down when in reverse.
The dealer was not able to disable the mirror turning down in reverse. Mine is 2014. I read it somewhere that this is dealer service only.
I had the service vehicle soon light come on the other day and it took out the gauge back lights, fog lights, and tail lights. Also, when I used to lock and unlock the car with the remote the exterior lights would flash, now they don't. I check all headlights and tail lights and none of them are burnt out.

View 7 RepliesI can't find an explanation for this but I dropped the car off to have windows tinted.
This AM I picked the car up and when I press the lock button, the doors DO lock but there is no longer a chime and the lights dont flash.
I've gone into settings and made sure that that setting is turned on and it appears fine but it still doesn't work like it did yesterday.
FWIW - the chime does sound for UNLOCK, just not lock.
I have a 2010 f-250 lariat with a drivers side power fold mirror that does not fold. The part number is 1448007. Do they interchange? My mirror is a Power Fold, heated, extending type.
View 1 RepliesThis morning I heard a "strange" buzzing noise coming from the rear of the vehicle and I don't know what it is.
As background I drove my IS250 for about 1hr yesterday and parked it for the night around 10pm inside a garage. This morning at around 7am (9 hours later), I came down to the garage to hear the buzzing "fan" noise. I am not sure what it is. The vehicle was OFF. I managed to record the noise.

That said, the buzzing noise couldn't be something left on overnight... since the battery was fine. The car proceeded to start just fine. What do you think it is? Can it be some sort of fuel vent pump or something?
I have seen this happen twice on two different push to start Sonata cars at my shop. Customer stated that randomly it would lock the doors with his key inside while parked at home. I have not yet determined the pattern that could cause this issue.

After 185 miles on the vehicle, I reported the problem to Lexus and the Tech that test drove with me said I was hearing things. Apparently there was a humming noise coming from the transmission.
The noise became evident and consistent, took it back in again, the Tech says its normal and DI engines make a lot of noise.
After six months and 2700 miles the noise became annoying, Tech said they will look into it and confirmed it is unusual. Test drove about 5 other new 2015, used 2014's and no humming noise present.
Engineers made two trips over a five week period from Cali. They changed the alternator, which at first they thought was the problem, then they started looking at the fuel pump on the engine, then they swapped out a tranny from a loaner and the noise disappeared. They took out the loaner tranny and ordered a new tranny and installed it.
I have a 2004 Saturn VUE, 3.5 L, V6 (212 CI), AWD, with 164,000 miles that I purchased used in Michigan from a GM Dealer about a year back.
The air condition on this VUE works great as long as the vehicle is moving on the road. When in idle and parked, the cooling performance appear to get reduced and soon it will blow not so cold air until the vehicle start to move and gradually the performance will get better and perform well. How did you get it resolved?
'98 Regal LS. The car was parked with the engine running, and the doors locked spontaneously. Starting then, noticed that the fuel gauge and coolant temp gauge were pegged out.
Short somewhere? Could a bad BCM cause this?
