I had a friend messing with my car last night and on my dash used to have the bar type fuel economy under my MPH, now it has eco indicator and I've messed with the drive infos in my settings to change it back but I can't. It is an F-Sport.

I hit a bird at highway speed a few weeks ago, and the impact was enough to knock out the sidelight bulb. I thought the rest of the headlamp had survived OK, but now the evenings have turned dark I notice that the low beam pattern on that headlamp is completely messed up.
For those of you that have delved into the headlamp assemblies, is it possible for some part to have become dislodged such that the bulb is no longer correctly aligned with the lens?
I suspect I'm going to have to take off the bumper and dismantle the headlamp, but it would be nice to know what I might expect to find. If I find the low beam assembly damaged. I have the bi-xenons, so I'm aware from previous threads that getting the low beam out of the headlamp is a bear!

My 3is blind spot monitor and cross traffic alert doesn't seem to work anymore. I've tried playing around with the BSM button under the steering wheel.... i get nothing except a message on the dash saying "check BSM system" . Whats going on and how to fix it?

Today I noticed that the flat part of the dash (under the nav screen and above the clock) is popping up. It's not popping up a ton, but I noticed it today. When I push the front of the flat part down, it goes perfect and fills the tiny gap between the clock and that flat part of the dash. When I let go, it makes a sticky sound as if the glue or adhesion is trying to stick. Like I said, it's not totally noticeable, but I can notice it and it drives me nuts

I was backing out of a parking space on the street this afternoon and hit a car that was coming down the street. The rear passenger side bumper was crunched in but I popped it out and now it's just scuffed. The impact wasn't that much, but now the throttle seems messed up.
When starting from a stop there's an initial burst of power followed by a brief lull and then power comes back. Facing up a hill there is no power with the gas pedal slightly depressed and then it kicks in with the same jerky power delivery.
I've also noticed that the real time MPEG doesn't jump up to 100 when I'm coasting like it used to and the engine doesn't quit when at a stop and the idle fluctuates a bit.

So I have some road resurfacing happening near my home which I've been driving through recently. One thing that I've begun hearing is a rattle that sounds like it's coming from the center speaker area on my dash. I have the ML system so not sure if the standard audio package has this speaker. I'm not 100% that it coming from the speaker but it's somewhere towards the center of my dash.

I had been waiting a long time for a remote start solution to be available for my 2014 IS-250 with navigation. I finally saw idatalink released a firmware for their ADS-ALCA bypass module that allows you to add a remote start that is triggered by the factory keypad. It was a fairly easy installation and it started up right away. I do have car installation experience, but I didnt find the installation to be that difficult in general.

I purchased a new '09 f150 in '09. the truck has been fine except the dash light problem which ford has declined to correct. In low light i have no dash lights. it must be completely dark for the lights to work.
Last fall I drove a windy 2 lane secondary road at dusk without dash lights. I could not read the gauges. I did not know how fast i was traveling. This road has several tight corners.
The truck is powerful, accelerates quickly and weighs about 6,000 lbs. this is a very dangerous situation!! I have been to the dealership several times and phoned the ford customer service but to no avail!! Fords response is 'they're all like this'!!!!!!!!!!!??

Ok so my dash indicator disappeared. Did some searching and found out I can bring it back with the "+/-" on the shifter. Now my question is if certain gears are not indicated on the dash does that mean they are supposedly all locked out somehow even though I shift through all 6 still? And with the gears not being indicated on the dash is there a negative effect over a period of time driving?... or did I just get super paranoid over it

Dash lights that stay on? I know of 2 trucks that dash lights stay on all the time. Dome lights are not on so it should be the doors causing it.

I have a 2008 is-f. My car will not rev about 1500 rpms and the hazard exclamation mark symbol is blinking on my dash saying check vsc! I had a bad battery and thought with the little research I have done that might be the problem but I put a new one in and the problem is still there. i own a scan tool so I scanned the cel and came up with code p2118 , it has to be something with the throttle sensor or something. I've tried pulling fuses and resetting the ecm but still no luck. I reset the cel with my little tool but it comes right back on as soon as its started.

I get a feeling it's some type of door that either wants to open or shut but it takes a few times to do it. It doesn't always do it too.

I have a 2014 ecoboost F150 xlt. Yesterday while driving the dash display just blinked off then back on. Truck continued working normally while the screen was off. Only happened once but it was fairly worrisome as it was at the start of our 5 hour return drive.

Is there a way to turn all interior lights on the dash off when the headlights are off?
It is so bright that you can't see in the dark with everything off without being blinded.

2014 4x4 5.0 ... Drove my new truck (less than 1900 miles) to work in the rain. Alternator failed and battery warning on dash. Took truck to dealer, they confirmed and said not covered by warranty. Talked to ford, they back up dealers decision. They want a whole bunch of money to replace alternator and clean under the hood. What good is a 4x4 if it fails driving to work on an open highway?

i have a 2010 f-150. during the day normal sunshine the gauge area is to dark to see any unless you put your head down close to the steering wheel.at night when the lights are on it is just great. At dusk the lights on the dash come on by them self. is there something i can do to have them on all the time i have good eyes & do not wear glasses.
