Is there anyway to adjust the cabin temperature while the fans are off? I like to drive with the vents open but want to adjust the temps up/down without having to turn on the fans.
View 3 RepliesJust picked up my 2015 IS 350 F Sport two days ago. Really got to take it out for the first extended drive today. The drivers side temperature controls seem to be increasing and decreasing on their own.
View 8 RepliesSeems like I'm having to crank the temperature up higher and higher (numerically) to avoid freezing myself out in the GX in the summer. Used to be ~72-74deg was a comfortable setting, regardless of outside temp. Now it seems like I'm running a 77-78deg setting on the climate control in order for things to feel right. Any lower and I just get frozen-out.
Oddly, if I have the rear AC on (if it's super hot outside, or if the kids are in the back) things are a bit more normal.
I have a 03 sc430 will a stuck climate control. I can change the temp on the passenger side, but the drivers side is stuck on 65! and its cold here!!!!
View 9 RepliesI've had my prius for about 8 months now and to be honest, I'm not 100% sure how the climate control works. I just realized that one of the buttons I've been pressing is an air pollen filter. I've also recirculated the air and managed the fan speed with the up/down.

It's really strange I'm not sure what the issue could be, but not only that! I can adjust to any temp, throw on the a/c and no matter what it's blowing out hot hot hot...
View 4 RepliesHave a 2002 SC lariat with climate control. A few weeks ago, the system stopped blowing air. It seems the brains still work for temp control as I can adjust the temp and the natural flow air through the system will change temp.
I heard a sputtering noise from the fans a few weeks ago at about the time it quit. Is this because the servo motors for the fans quit or if it would be something from the controls?
Is it possible to change/reprogram the "HIGH" temperature on the 2012 Passat SEL climate control? I generally like to keep the temperature a bit warmer during the summer than the climate control is able. The selected temperature changes to "HI" above 80 degrees and turns on the heater. What I would like is to change the point that the climate control rolls to "HI" by several degrees, say 85 degrees.

Is there a way to change the Climate Control Temperature and the Outside Temperature read outs to Celsius instead of Fahrenheit? I know pressing the MPH/km/h button changes the the speed, distance and fuel consumption, but not the temperature read outs. I prefer Celsius as that is what I was raised on.

View 8 RepliesI recently purchased a 2014 xle plus. The passenger seat is VERY low and there is no vertical adjustment control. Is there any way the seat can be raised. My wife is 5' 1" and cannot see over the dashboard.
View 1 RepliesI just leased a 2014 XLE Touring. Car has been great so far but I noticed sometimes that I will have the Auto climate control on and it will shut itself off while I am driving.
Another thing I noticed is after I turn the car off and drive it later, it does not retain the previous climate control settings.
2014 F150 FX4. The climate control recirculation door will not stay on. It will switch to fresh air by itself. When its cold outside if I set the climate temp to 75 deg. and system on auto with recirculation on, after a few min or so it will change to fresh air. At first I thought that maybe its normal for the auto system. So, I set it to manual mode, 75 deg. floor vents on med to low speed blower with recirculation on. And the same thing happens. There is no rime or reason to when it will switch.
Sometimes it seem to change more after stopping at a stop sign or after changing the seat heater temp, but I can't make it happen. It will happen most times in a 15 mile trip about three times. I took it to the dealer and they had the vehicle all day and said that it is normal. They said that Ford lets their recirc door do what ever they want depending on the temp. even in manual mode.
I just purchased a 2014 Avalon XLE Touring. One thing that seems to be a slight problem is the A/C setting. To get the car to cool down I have to turn the setting down to about 66 to make it comfortable and I know it is not 66 degrees in the car. Is there some way to calibrate the temp reading?

I have a 2011 screw, when its cold out, and I start the truck, cold air blows out of the front defroster when the climate control is set to auto.
The fan on my previous ford vehicles would not function till the engine reached operating temp. Then the fan would turn on and blow warm air to the lower vents.
The outside temperature has been cold since the purchase of my 07 SC almost 2 weeks ago (below freezing F ). The A/C green light has not been lit. My 05 SC, the light was on all the time. Dealer says the system will turn the A/C off in certain circumstances in very cold conditions.
View 12 RepliesI usually set my climate control to 78 degrees and leave it on Auto, but whenever I leave the car for more than 5 hours then the climate control somehow resets itself.
The "Auto" light would stay illuminated for about 15 seconds, then it turns off and "Air Conditioner Off" flashes on the Nav screen. Then when I press the "Auto" button again, the climate displays 75 degrees. This has happened everyday for the last 3 weeks or so.
This may be operator error, but we have had trouble getting our new GX to blow warm air on cold days.
The fact that there are no real buttons to operate the climate control is kind of annoying. I set the temperature to high (like 80+ degrees)..but it will not do anything or adjust automatically. Even if I hit the fan buttons to increase the blower, this does not have an effect for about 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, it will start to work correctly and blow the warmer air. Our old 4runner V8 (basically the same car) was able to blow hot air almost instantly after start-up..I've never waited this long in any car.
I have a 2013 GX premium. Climate control overcompensate while trying to keep the cabin temp. I was driving with the heat on and suddenly really cold air started coming out of the vents to the point where I had to raise the temp to make it warm up. It seems like the air should be more gradually adjusted to keep the cabin temp constant.

Not a bunch but I fear that it is just a matter of time before they all go away.
I assume, not being a LCD engineer, that there really isn't much that can be done to fix my existing LCD but I thought I would ask the group hoping for a resolution other than replacing the LCD.
