I got my alignment done at a very reputable tire shop today. But now after the alignment my ABS and Traction control light are on and it says check ABS on the lcd cluster. I was told i need to drive around and it should go away. Driven about 10 miles so far and its still there. How many miles until the light goes away...
View 2 RepliesI started noticing about a year ago that when I drive my car, it pull to the right. This occurs at any speed. Every time I've gone in for service, I've asked them about this and multiple customer service reps have basically said "that's how this type of car drives". I've had them actually check the alignment as well, and only a couple of times have they had to adjust it, but it still seems to pull towards the right.

I was driving home and all of a sudden my rpms are at 3.5 4k rpm wont shift to next gear. I put in in tiptronic mode and shift it to 8 it works fine. Then about 10 minutes later check vsc shows on dash traction control light is on check engine light is on and the light next to the check engine i think it is the abs light. I havent pulled the code yet.
View 1 RepliesA few days ago my "Check VSC" warning came on along with the check engine and traction lights being on. I left my car in a parking garage for a week when I was on vacation and the lights came on once I started the car after getting back from my trip.
I have had the "Check VSC" warning before and I fixed it by replacing my gas cap. My gas cap seems fine this time around so I got my codes scanned and the only one that came up was P0300. Having this issue with the 2007 Lexus GS 350? I still feel like it's my gas cap because I bought a cheap replacement last time around.
So I feel like this is more of vent than anything but anyways, it all started yesterday when I noticed one of my tires had the TPMS light pop up. I went to the gas station on my way home and put some air in it and everything was good. This morning I get in my car and its the same tire but now at 7 psi so I have a leaking tire. I bring it to costco to see if they can do a quick tire repair instead I find out my alignments been screwed up and it has worn down all 4 of my tires on the inside. I saw it for myself and its been worn down on them pretty bad. I'm in the process of getting the Michelin Pilot Sports by tomorrow and will need to get an alignment.
Lexus dealership didn't catch this when I brought it in last month for an oil change and they did their so called "inspection." Maybe they don't check for alignment issues but wouldn't they have noticed the uneven wear on my tires??? Also my IS350 is all stock and isn't dropped or anything. Why my alignment would've been messed up?
The CHECK VSC light and traction light came on in my vehicle. I called the dealership, made first available appointment, and asked if car was okay to drive. The service man said "Yes, as long as the signals are not flashing" so I made my trip to Walmart and five miles from the house the car shut itself off, in like a stall mode with no power. Additionally, smoke was coming out from right side of hood. A gentleman stopped and said "you're overheated..." All gauges appeared normal but the battery light came on. Tow company took to dealership but I am petrified of what I have read and thinking the engine is fried!!!! I can't sleep because I'm worried of thousands of dollars of damage. There are 150k miles on it.

Had a couple days of 20's temps, started truck last night and I have the brakes symbol and ABS light staying on, with the message "Check brake system" and the traction control symbol alternating back and forth. On a 16 mile trip, they all went out just once, for about ten seconds when I restarted at the gas station. Then came back on. Brake job done within the last two years by previous owner at the dealership.
View 2 RepliesI just recently bought my IS350 F-Sport (now has about 2kmiles) and the other day while it was about 70 degrees out, at a stop light, i decided to floor it in 1st gear (manual mode) and towards hitting redline (about 6300rpm), the traction light comes on and the transmission automatically shifts up before i even get a chance to fully manually shift myself. So by the time i do get a chance to push the paddle shifter, it would now go into 3rd gear.
I did not turn off my traction control before all this - so that may be the problem but i didn't think it would be an issue because the motor is all stock (aside from JoeZ intake pipe). Did simply turning the traction off allow the for full usage of 1st gear before needing to upshift?
So yesterday at night i take the isf for a boot, everything is going great and then i rip it off the lights, as soon as i do the traction starts acting weird and so do the rpms for a few seconds, rights after that the light show started. Check vsc, abs off, traction control off, afs off. all came on at once. i didn't turn anything off.
View 6 RepliesProblems getting an alignment AFTER lowering. seems no one in my area has the old fashioned machine where it clamps on the wheel edge,they have the ones that clamp on the outside of the tire,which limits the rotation of the wheel if the body is too close. I am on rsr downs with Vossens,which wont work at all, so hoping the stock wheels will.

View 11 RepliesI was recently in an accident deemed not my fault, my 250 was in perfect condition otherwise. After the accident when I received my car from the shop, they gave it back to me with the check engine light on and told me it was my O2 sensors. I ran a scan on them and the Bank 1 has low voltage, Bank 2 has high. What could be a cause of both of them to have voltage problems? The mechanics refused to believe the accident had anything to do with it, which is complete BS. I got hit on my passenger side, 11K in damage.

View 7 RepliesSo I've got 13,375 miles on my car and I was at an intersection and when I put the car into sport mode the check engine light came on and now it won't go off. My car isn't displaying any other messages or lights and the gas cap was definitely on all the way. What could trip it so early in the life cycle, had the last scheduled maintenance 3 months ago too???

I haven't overfilled on Gas, the Gas Cap is completely on (2 clicks), and I haven't OVERLY pushed the car either haha.
The only update was replacing the STOCK filter with K&N Drop In Filter.
My front driver's side Bridgestone Turanza EL400 (225/40R18) has premature wear such that the steel belt is beginning to show through the center of the tread. The front passenger side tire has no such wear and the alignment is good.
View 14 RepliesSo today during my drive I looked down and noticed my check engine light come on! The car has 7k miles on it!! All I've done to it was the ARK cat back and k and n drop in filter. I'm guessing O2 sensor but it's crazy to think a car with 7k miles had a bad sensor. Noticed the car was running a little rough lately but noting too crazy.

I don't know why given the cats are still there? Have I upset the lambda sensors somehow? How to clear it? Can the fault codes be cleared a certain way?
2014 es350 with a bit over 5000 miles, today suddenly my malfunction indicator lamp and TRAC OFF lights both came on at once... What the causes may be since I can't get to the dealer until Monday. And is it still safe to drive the car???
