View 1 RepliesOne of the small bulbs in the corner of the headlight assembly is burned out. does any one know how to replace it?
View 1 RepliesRecently my 05 RX330 had the driver side low beam bulb go out. I took it to a few places and they said take it to the dealership as they have special tools to change it. Of course I took it there and they were ready to charge me an arm and a leg to get 1 little bulb replaced. My question is do you have recommendations as to what I should do to get this fixed and not have my wallet get destroyed?
View 8 RepliesAbout 3 weeks ago i have noticed that the right headlight doesn't work. I assumed its the bulb and bought a set from kbcarstuff. Installed them today and it still doesn't work. I tried to swap the bulbs and non of them worked in the right headlight and all of them worked fine in the left one. I assumed it is a fuse and went to check it out(number 80 and 81 fuses, 15A are all sweet). Is it the ballast or something also?
View 6 RepliesMy driver's side bulb at times will just go completely off. Is it the bulb or the ballast shooting craps?
View 7 RepliesMy driver's side headlight bulb started malfunctioning.
Here's the situation so far: Whenever I turned my headlights on, the driver's side bulb would turn off after 5 minutes.
Replaced both bulbs
Drivers side bulb stayed on for about 20 - 25 minutes at first then started going off after just a few minutes
Replaced ballast (new) on drivers side but same results as above where light stayed on for about 20 - 25 minutes at first then going off again after a few minutes. Each time light stayed on for a shorter period of time
Bought 2 more bulbs and replaced both again in case first set was bad. Same thing still happens and bulb tends to flicker at times.
I am at a loss as to why the drivers side light will not stay on after changing the ballast and the bulbs twice. Also, I've noticed that the drivers side bulb is noticeably dimmer than the passenger side bulb even though both bulbs are brand new.
What the problem might be? I'm at a loss now and not sure what to do next.
I have a 2007 GS 430, 126,000 miles. Initially I had one faulty headlight that would not work but after turning the switch off/on, it would work again. Eventually both headlights started malfunctioning. After reading other forums, we elected to change the headlight bulbs. So far that has worked. However, after changing the bulbs, the VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) and check engine lights came on. After running the headlights and using the car to go to/from work with about 4 stops and restarts, the car reset itself and the warning lights turned off. Scared me at first because I had also just had suspension work done. However, the Headlamp Level Control System is part of the VSC system, which makes sense, just wasn't prepared for the warning lights.
View 1 RepliesI changed my headlight bulbs yesterday with D4S bulbs with 12K purple. After driving about an hour, the dash popped up a message saying headlight system failure, have dealer check headlight system. Both headlights are still on. I'm wondering why it is doing that? Hate to go back in and change it out again. It was a pita to change the bulbs.

View 11 RepliesI was wondering, what the replacement bulb for the reverse light on the 2014 is250 f sport was..
View 1 RepliesReplacing license plate bulb on a 3rd gen rx? I tried taking off the interior lining on the rear hatch but no luck. There's access covers for taillight & reverse, but none for license plate light. I also tried "popping" out the plate light cover right above the license plate... don't think they are designed to be popped out.
View 3 RepliesI'm starting to notice some squeaking sounds while changing the airflow for the AC. Pretty much all of the options will make a sound, but especially changing from Head+feet to head only, and vice versa.
View 3 RepliesJust picked up my 2015 IS 350 F Sport two days ago. Really got to take it out for the first extended drive today. The drivers side temperature controls seem to be increasing and decreasing on their own.
View 8 RepliesI just got my IS350 F-sport which equipped with HID headlight for few days, but I have encountered a weird problem as every time I start the car the HID headlight never does a self-leveling job. It just never goes up and down and back to its original spot in which I have never encountered in my previous owned vehicles.
View 14 RepliesRecently lowered the car and can't adjust but notice that the headlights need to be raised up a little. I have searched Club Lexus high & low for a 'how-to' on here, but all that populates is the 2IS threads, or threads for the ES and GS models. I am looking for the 3IS 250/350 F-Sport headlights.
View 1 RepliesWhile driving around with the 8 speed is350, It seems like the transmission is slipping when changing from 3-4-5 under light throttle. The revs shoot up and then it finds the next gear kind of like someone riding the clutch in a manual car.
This used to happen a little during the winter on cold start but its happening more often even in warm weather. Maybe I'm just crazy but I'm sure its not supposed to be acting this way.
