View 2 RepliesI need to remove the bumper to replace the reflectors for some lead breaking lights, so I'll also need to find the rear break lights cables to jump this leds.
View 14 RepliesMy wife's 2015 IS350 F-Sport (only 6,000 miles on the odometer in the year she has owned it) is showing evidence of chipped paint above the deck lid reflectors. Our dealer and Lexus corporate are not wanting to play ball and fix the problem. We are convinced that it is caused by a vibration from the reflectors when the car is moving and when the deck lid is open and shut.
View 6 RepliesI was at Home Depot and came across a can of Plasti-Dip so I figured I will get it and try blacking out my rear emblem. I remember recently seeing someone discuss how to remove this so it could be painted. I used to search using like 10 dif keyword combo's and found nothing.

View 20 RepliesI thought I saw someone had converted the reflectors on the front of the side mirrors to turn signal flashers on the 2010-2012 F150. Where I can find that write up?

View 7 RepliesI just bought a new 2015 and I've been thinking about blacking out the emblems.
Out of the photos below, which include stock and my "edited" ones, what looks best? I also considered possibly replacing the front grille with a custom one instead of blacking out.
My main question is since I don't like the chrome on my windows and I am getting visors what are my option. Is it common to just put the clip ins and leave the chrome or do what i have been reading which is to black out your chrome? If i put the 3m typed style visors do i go right on top of the chrome or not and if not how do i go about blacking that out? Which brand 3m stick on visors recommended for the darkest color and slickest look?

Notice the chrome bezel around the grille, and the chrome toyota emblem?
What is the best/easiest/most efficient way to black these out? Remove them and paint them? Mask it off and paint them? Plastidip?
I always want to black out the 'Camry', 'Toyota' and 'LE' emblems on the trunk as well.
This is a first for me. Came in last night after my 140 mile commute and pulled into my garage and turned off my car ('16 IS350F). This morning(approx. 10 hrs.later) I went into the garage and heard a humming noise. I thought it was the refrigerator, but as I walked around the back of the car,it was obvious the noise was originating from the right rear. It sounded(to me) just like the fuel pump running, but that made no sense as it isn't on the "hot" battery bus...ie: it doesn't run until the accessory power is provided. I got in the car and cranked it....let it run for a couple of minutes and shut it down and the humming stopped.

View 3 RepliesHave a problem with the rear air distribution. I can not get it to work. What am I doing wrong?
View 6 RepliesThis morning I heard a "strange" buzzing noise coming from the rear of the vehicle and I don't know what it is.
As background I drove my IS250 for about 1hr yesterday and parked it for the night around 10pm inside a garage. This morning at around 7am (9 hours later), I came down to the garage to hear the buzzing "fan" noise. I am not sure what it is. The vehicle was OFF. I managed to record the noise.
IS250 Buzzing noise - Car OFF for 9hrs - YouTube ...
That said, the buzzing noise couldn't be something left on overnight... since the battery was fine. The car proceeded to start just fine. What do you think it is? Can it be some sort of fuel vent pump or something?
I just swapped out my 2014 IS350 F sport for a 2015. The 2014 rear brake light in the rear window would flash when you hit the brake pedal about 5 times and then remain steady. I really liked this feature and now my new 2015 does not do this. I don't see how to turn this on or off in the settings. Both cars are 350 F Sport models - AWD, NAV Etc.
I have seen several other new model IS's and none of them have ever done this. My neighbor has a 250 Non-F Sport. So I assumed it was a 350 or F Sport thing.
----My 2014 had 20,000 miles and needed tires. The lease payoff was low enough that the dealer bought it out and put me in a new one for the same price. I got a different color plus cooled seats and a few other small differences (And went from black to white).
2014 ES 300 hybrid- Rear seats are extra warm to hot. Took my car twice to the dealer and they are not able to locate the problem.
View 1 RepliesI've noticed a couple of times with my 2014 Luxury edition a noise coming from around the spare tire area when the vehicle is parked and shut off even for several hours. Could this be the air shocks?
View 1 RepliesOn the edge of the rear door and spots around the rear tire I have this clear film on the car. The one on the back door is triangle shape so I'm thinking this is not a mistake on my dealers part to remove it during delivery.
