Replace the front bumber cover on gx? Mine has a crack and I can get another one but wasn't sure how difficult it would be to swap it out, I guess the toughest part would seem to be the fog lights.

View 5 RepliesI have a 2012 SE v6 with 1600 miles on it. About a week ago, I noticed my bumper cover pulled away from the corner of the headlight and there was a noticeable gap. I pushed on it, and heard a click. The bumper stayed in place. After a couple days driving, it came loose again. I didnt touch it so the Service Writer would see it first hand. Of course, his first instinct was to puch on it, but I got loud quickly, so he kept his hands to himself, and heard me out. I knew if he clicked it back into place I would be SOL. He admitted something needed to be done, not just click it back.
When I picked it up, he said it was a known issue, and there is a TSB on it. He claimed they replaced a bracket. The invoice reads, "ADDED FELT TO TIGHTEN FIT". Yeah, Im sure that will hold just long enough for them to wash their hands of it.
Remove rear bumper on IS? Wanting to install a rear diffuser myself but don't know where to start in removing the bumper.
View 5 RepliesI would like to install some driving lights behind the front bumper of my 2005 Super Duty, I was going to drill two 5" holes and than weld in some 5" pipe from the behind the bumper and attach some 5" KC driving lights to it. Would a hole saw work for this or is a bumper to thick? I was looking at DeWalt or Lenox hole saws their bi-metal. I know that I have to drill slow and I was going to use cutting fluid. I could use my drill press but I think I would have to figure how to clamp a bumper to the table. Then I am going to grind/sand the chrome off and paint it black. I will be taking the bumper off doing all of this.
View 4 RepliesSo I recently bought an '09 Elantra for 52K miles. Car's a beauty except the front bumper cover is loose under the headlight on the driver side(got it that way). The first two pics are from the driver side whereas the third shows it in comparison to the passenger (which is totally fine). The gap seems to be getting bigger ever so slightly. What would be the cheapest and easiest fix?

View 9 RepliesI had a low impact accident with my 2010 LS460 where the body shop replaced the bumper cover, collision cushion behind the bumper and a new grill. Below are the picture from their finished work, however I know my car should look better than this. What could be wrong/missing to cause the grill and bumper to not align correctly with my car?
View 7 RepliesI'm having the bumper cover replaced on my 350 (stupid mistake on a number of fronts it's starting to look like...) and the indy shop that I chose in my town to do the job (Lexus dealer is 100 miles away and this shop was recommended by the guys that take care of all the Lambos/Ferraris/Porsches etc) told me that they had to drill the holes in the bumper cover to retro fit the sensors. Is this correct?
View 2 RepliesI was recently in a fender bender where I was rear ended. My rear bumper cover became detached on the left side and the spoiler underneath it (left side and center parts) became detached. I lost several pieces of hardware in the crash. I was able to clip the bumper cover back in on the left side, and aside from that, I don't believe any bolts, screws, etc. are missing for the bumper cover. However, the spoiler seems to be missing about half of its hardware.
View 3 RepliesI am getting ready to install DVD headrest players in my RX400h. I am stumped on how to remove the read shield of the seat if that makes sence? I believe the are held in by clamps from middle to top but not sure what needs done at the bottome. And I can also feel two straps at the bottom.
How to remove the back so I can run the wires down the seat from the headrests? Pictures? Diagrams?
Looking for info on these replacements and is there any manuals out there to assist with the process?

I slid out on black ice into a snow bank and it crushed in the bottom grille and as I'm clearing out the snow I noticed a sensor dangling with a broken harness that I was wondering what it was for. I have a nonFsport bumper with LED fog lights and both fog lights are operational.

View 6 RepliesI bought the car from dealer, there are now FOUR! holes on the front bumper. I don't understand why they couldn't just use the existing holes to put the license plate holder. Now I'm stuck with these holes and I'm looking for a cheap alternative to fill them. I like the clean look of the front end without the plates and don't want to spend a fortune at a body shop, but I also don't want 4 dots either. What I can do/use?
