How can I turn off seatbelt warning buzzer?

View 14 RepliesI've read that a few of you have disconnected this; So which fuse or wire do I pull ? Looks like it would just be a wire, as I don't see a specific fuse for this.
View 5 RepliesCan override the seatbelt warning sound? It drives everybody in the car crazy!
View 7 RepliesI just bought a ceritifed pre-owned 2010 RX 450h. I love it, but a couple of questions as I get to know the car.
1) The rain sensor seems to not work. I set the wipers to what on another car would be "intermittent" but the wipers never come on. Am I missing something, am I a dummy? Or should I just get the dealer to replace the sensor?
2) Any way to turn off the seatbelt warning chime?
I'm having a problem trying to troubleshoot the warning buzzer circuit. Normally, the warning buzzer beeps twice when the trunk begins to open. It will also beep twice when you press the button to close the trunk. Yesterday I noticed that the warning no longer sounds when i open the trunk, but still beeps when i close the trunk. I examined he trunk closer, but couldn't find the buzzer or an activator for the beep generator. The service manual was worthless.
View 10 RepliesIs there a way to program the seatbelt chime to not come on? I know you could do this on a first gen Touareg. Is it the same program?
View 4 RepliesThe warning buzzer to indicate the lights are on when the car is off is not working. I assume there is a switch in the key ignition. Is that the likely part to fail?
View 4 RepliesI've replaced rusted out brake lines on my 1998 GMC Sierra 1500. I bled the system properly and every thing seems to run fine and brakes good. But the brake warning light stays on in the dash and buzzer is on. What to do to turn these off...
View 3 RepliesMy seatbelt warning light and beeping comes on even after I've buckled up. Sometimes it's works fine at first and then will randomly come on while I'm driving. Other times it just doesn't recognize that I've buckled my seatbelt at all. I tried disabling the beeping as a temporary fix, but it didn't work, I'm assuming because it didn't recognize when I performed the necessary buckling up. Even if it did the blinking light would definitely bother me.

View 3 RepliesIs there a way to turn off the overzealous seatbelt alarm? It chimes constantly when the seatbelt isn't on, even when the car is in park. Sometimes I unbuckle my seatbelt to get my crap together before I get out of the car, but its hot here so I like to leave the AC running while get set. I know some cars have some obscure series of button presses to turn this off. Also is there a way to stop the horn from honking when I press the lock button on the remote?
View 3 RepliesAlso...doom lighting does not turn on with driver door open...all other doors, yes. Lastly, cannot reset trip meter.
View 1 RepliesThis is what I was afraid of, left stranded. Typical morning when it is dark when you start but sunny by the time you arrive at destination. Our 2012 S does not have the automatic headlights like our 2010 LE. I did not notice this when I bought the car, just thought that a newer more expensive model would have equal features, but it did not. Not only that, but the 2012 does not even have a basic headlight safety feature that has been in Corollas and other cars for years where the headlights go off after 20 minutes when left on in order to save the battery, or even like my old Volvos where the headlights turn off when the ignition key is turned off and removed. There is a warning buzzer, but the volume is so low that most will never hear it. As a result I had to purchase a lithium jump start battery to carry with me in case this happens again. Makes me question the integrity of Toyota when they cheapen out the car in the areas of safety...i.e., leaving someone stranded.
View 5 RepliesWeird problems with my 2006 prius. Car has 54,000 miles.
4 times now over the last year, during abnormal braking conditions (someone swerves over at me on highway and I have to break and swerve suddenly to avoid), I get multiple warning lights, and the warning buzzer. Yesterday this happened, and I got the red triangle, the red brake light, the abs light, and two new lights on the LCD display I've never seen before. I pulled over and began to slow down. The brakes felt stiff, and the vehicle started to loose acceleration power. LCD started resetting itself. I stopped the car, turned it off, and turned it back on to find everything normal. I then drove 200+ miles to my destination without incident.
This is the worst case of this problem yet. My 12v battery was replaced last year after the first of these issues, with similar symptoms, but no loss of acceleration. The tech said the only code in the system was a voltage spike, and thus thought it needed a new battery. In every other case of the problem, I turn the car off and turn it back on, and it's fine. I'm about to drive 2000 miles next week, and want to avoid further issues...
I've a 2008 Toyota Corolla ever since I bought it back in 2007. I don't have any problem with the seat belt warning before but recently for the past months the seat belt warning keeps beeping constantly, even when I'm wearing my seat belt. I fastened every belts in the car to make it stop but it just keep going. How to get it working properly?
View 1 RepliesGot the Airbag lamp on, so I checked the fault codes, it says that the resistance o the driver side seatbelt tensioner is to high. Is this just a oxided connection, a bad wire, or should I be prepared to change the tensioner-assembly in full?
View 7 RepliesOver the weekend I installed a LOC and amplifier w/sub to OEM stereo in 2013 Camry SE. System has touchscreen and navigation. Prior to installing I disconnected the battery so I wouldn't have any surprises. Well, I got one anyway. After everything was reassembled, the car now chimes when the driver side door is opened (haven't checked passenger door) even when the key is out of the ignition. This happens even after remotely unlocking the doors. It looks like there is an option to remove door chime when opening the door. I know this doesn't apply to when leaving keys in car.
View 1 RepliesThe warning light on the dash is on that shows the seatbelt and airbag. What does tis mean as the book only says to take it to a dealer.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2013 GS 350. Sometimes the heat keeps blowing even after i turn the Heat/AC off.
View 8 RepliesAny way to turn this off? It's annoying that every time I get a text it pops up on my screen and I have to click ignore. I don't need a text notification.
View 7 RepliesExperienced a noisy blower from the engine bay when turning on the A/C? It's kinda a squeaky noise. But when I turn off the A/C, just the fan...it doesn't sound as loud.
