I just took delivery of a 2013 Lexus GS 350 all-wheel-drive. I have the luxury package which includes the large display screen in the center of the dash. Unfortunately the plastic cover over the navigation screen is dirty on the inside. How to remove the plastic cover on the center display?

Today when I was driving on the highway, all the sudden the audio display screen (no navigation) was turned off by itself, but I still hear the sounds from the speakers. all the buttons were not working. after few minutes, the display system seems reboot itself, then it was frozen at start screen with only shows the Lexus logo on it. until I pulled over and restarted the car, it was back to normal.

Now I notice that the headlight on the other side appears to be dirty on the inside.
Not noticed unless the lights are on.
Noticed that my drivers side back up plastic cover is cracked with a small hole in the top. Would like to RTV the damaged area to seal it but I need to remove it to make the repair. I've pulled some of the inner plastic on the door but can't get at the back up plastic cover.

View 2 RepliesGS 350 AWD. I use the plastic pipe attached to a tube for draining. Worked fine the first few oil changes, but now it won't drain. The only way I can get it to drain is to leave the pipe attached and very, very briefly start the car and then turn it off. Then the oil pours out as it should. This happened the last time as well. I'm now at about 40,000 miles.
View 6 RepliesHow do I change my license plate bulbs? I can't seem to get the plastic covers to pop off without worrying about breaking something. Even reading about people saying the puddle lights were hard to change, i did mines in 10 minutes in the dark with a small flashlight lol.

I have a 2013 GS350 thats lowered on Tanabe Springs and 20s. It looks nice but the only problem i have is rubbing against the plastic (that what it sounds like) lining in the fender well. This only happens when I make a quick left turn or U turn. The tire size is 245/35/20.
View 5 RepliesMy navigation out of no where has been restarting on its own meaning screen goes black and warning comes up again. I have had car since November and it only started happening last week and I have 6k on car. It will actually restart on its own twice and this has occurred 3 times so far.
Now not sure if I am dreaming this but if I shut the car off with NAV screen split with home screen I always remembered it staying that way even when I restarted car. Now however regardless of what I leave it when I restart car always shows full map. I am thinking did they push an update to NAV which is also causing the glitch in it restarting? I haven't brought it dealer since new so I know no one updated manually but I can swear home screen would stay split if I left it that way.
Having issue with NAV restart while driving, I see it was occurring in IS forum but no fix. Also it is very cold but car is garaged and every time I been driving already for a bit, another thing maybe it's my iPhone because it always plugged in when it has occurred.

View 8 RepliesI have recently decided to not renew any XM services on my 13 GS. One unintended consequence of that decision seems to be a surprise. My slow start of the navigation system is gone. The system starts up instantly every time. I have observed it for 4 days now, and not a single slow start. Not sure if the problem is in the XM receiver, or the way the navigation tries to consume the XM data services, but it's definitely related to XM.

I have a 13 ES ultra luxury package. My ? Is about he nav. Ever since I bought the car the navigation does not work correctly when I put in a destination. For instance if I drive 200 miles on the interstate and make one stop I'll go 70 miles an hour it should take me three hours the navigation is saying five hours, there is no traffic on the interstate. it does this on any destination I choose.

I just purchase my 2013 ES 350. Now got home and now I realized I don't know how do I turn on the navigation system without starting the car engine. I am sure there is a way to do that but I don't know how.
