Big navigation screen it totally blank. Not able to turn on radio. When you start the car you see Lexus logo, then you get warning text after this text its completely black. Backups camera is working and small screen is working. I looked at Navigation fuse, TV fuse they all look good.

Today when I was driving on the highway, all the sudden the audio display screen (no navigation) was turned off by itself, but I still hear the sounds from the speakers. all the buttons were not working. after few minutes, the display system seems reboot itself, then it was frozen at start screen with only shows the Lexus logo on it. until I pulled over and restarted the car, it was back to normal.
View 5 RepliesI have a 2016 LX570 with 5,000 miles on the odometer. This morning the navigation screen is blank and the radio does not work. Took the truck to the dealer, they said Lexus is aware of the problem but does not have a solution. They will call me back when Lexus figures out what is wrong. No offer to give me a loner with a functional navigation unit.

I have a 2010 LS 460 and would like to know if it is possible to have a split screen with Navigation and Audio? My Navigation screen appears to be the default, after 30 seconds the audio screen returns to the map.
View 2 RepliesThe navigation screen on my recently went blank, while I was driving to my little brother's graduation. I can still see a faint outline of the screen, but other than that, it is hard to see. Have this problem with their navigation screen? I've tried look in the manual for a solution, but it doesn't have anything useful in it. I've googled for the solution as well, but most people said that if I were to bring it into the dealership, they would just replace my whole unit and that would cost $2000 or more, which is a no-go. I've tried to see if it was a fuse, but I got no idea what I'm looking at when I looked at the fuse box. I'm thinking it is maybe the backlight and that it maybe just died. By the way, the screen still works, I can still press on it and select my preset radio stations, but just can't see.

View 6 RepliesMy new '07 Camry with 5K miles on it, driving along, minding my own business. The navigation was on as it always is, but not in guidance mode. All of a sudden I notice the screen turn dark and I see this error: "MAP DVD - Unable to read data. Check if map DVD is correct." (see image)
I have never removed the DVD from the drive. It is clean as a whistle. I wasn't on a bumpy road. I tried resetting and cleaning it, but no good.
I have ES 350 2016 with navigation. When you start a car, the screen always defaults to navigation mode. You must press HOME button to get home screen. Is there any way to change the default, so it always starts with the home screen ?

View 3 RepliesMy audio volume does not decrease when the navigation talks. Rather, I have to keep the navigation voice level high and it simply talks over the music/audio. Is this supposed to happen or do I have something set wrong? I can't believe the audio doesn't lower automatically the same way it does for a phone call.

On the Nav. screen, when I switch my audio screen to the main screen from the side screen, it only stays on for a few seconds, and the map reappears on the main screen. Is there a way to lock the main screen to audio, and use the side screen for one of the other tasks?

View 1 RepliesSince having the latest entune update at the dealer, my GPS screen now automatically dims too much when the ambient light is lower in the evening. Tried messing around with the contrast and brightness controls and the rotary dimmer control on the left side of the dash.
Could not get the brightness to be like it was before the update. Street names are pretty much illegible at night. If I raise the brightness at night to the point where I can read the street names, the entire screen is super bright on the eyes.
Took the car to the dealer and they surprisingly agreed this is abnormal. Have an appointment next week to have this problem investigated.?
I have a 2010 (IV) and the screen stopped responding to touch, I looked it up and seems like a common issue in the 2010.

removed positive battery cable and replaced
held menu for a minute

Gave up. Went to dealer expecting a unpleasant $$ (buy a new nav screen) type of surprise. nope! service writer pulled it in to the shop and ....
Disconnected the NEGATIVE battery cable. Fixed it right away and didn't charge me a thing (shouldn't have anyway) He said that sometimes the computer just gets scrambled and shuts itself off as a precaution. So if you nav screen is blacked out and unresponsive give that a try.
Just got my 06 Prius. The screen shows that Audio Off. The radio doesn't want to turn on. What could be the issue. 06 Prius with nav, Bluetooth, JBL etc. Everything else seem to work except the radio. Fuse perhaps?
