Picked up F sports black on black in Dallas Getting some work done like darker tint, front clear bra (Already has rock chip)thinking abt the Fog lamps but looking at the forum seems like it's a pain to do and coming from Bmw 535 want to stay away from pain from sometime. Also it's missing the F badge on the trunk have ordered oem and wanna know what is the exact location on the trunk.

How to prevent anybody without the key fob in their possession from accessing my trunk?
View 14 RepliesI looked in the trunk of my GS350 when my car was parked in the garage and it looked pretty dark in there. I shut off the garage lights and the trunk was just as black as everything else.
Is there supposed to be a trunk light in this car? Every car I have ever owned, Hondas, Nissans, and my other Lexus had trunk lights, so I think this is pretty weird if they didn't include a trunk light.
If there is a trunk light then where it's located so I can check it out?
Picked up a 2016 GS 350 F Sport without the 1 touch power trunk and the wife is dying to have that trunk.
Is it at all possible to have it installed aftermarket if we didn't buy a GS350 with it?
On the 4th Gen GS 350s, I'm not sure if it had a cover or intended to be left as-is with the key cylinder open?
I never noticed it until I read the manual to learn more and the trunk seems to have an indent groove where something should cover it?

View 1 RepliesI have just managed to remove my scratched steering wheel badge on my phaeton. It comprises two parts, the metal holder and a thin metal badge which is glued on. (if you look closely you should be able to see the edge of the badge)
I used a small screwdriver to deeply score the badge many times, then once through, the badge can be prised off with a pair of plyers!! I the cleaned the glue from the surface using nail polish remover and am now awaiting a 50mm stick on VW badge from eBay. Hope it looks good..
I am halfway through the badge backup camera install and I just had a thought. Will replacing the badge with the backup camera badge affect my kessy functioning? I did not check to see if there was a kessy and non kessy golf backup camera. I have read at least 10 DIYs on this mod and not one mentioned kessy at all.

Had to leave my Passat in front of Target after spending hours trying to figure out how to get in the trunk from the backseat. I couldn't believe I was dumb enough to place the key in the trunk while putting all the bags in there!
Now we were able to use one of those door airbag tools to fish a wire in and get the driver door open by pulling on the door handle. The door unlock switch did nothing when pressed. Once I got the door open I thought all I had to do was press the trunk release button, but it was not popping the trunk as it always did before.
I went into the backseat to try and pull the seats down, but cannot find anyway to fold down the back seats. My friend said you can only release the latch from inside the trunk, but there has to be a way. I only have the one key and I'm sure it will cost an arm and a leg to get a new one made. How to get those back seats down?
On Tuesday evening we had some torrential downpours in my area. Yesterday when I went to open my trunk after work yesterday to collect my bag from work there was water coming from behind the plastic cover inside the trunk lid. I think I narrowed it down to the two tail lights that are installed in the trunk lid. The gasket on the passenger side looks deformed. Mine is a 2013 SE.
