Everyday when I start my car the time is 3-5 minutes behind. I reset it each time and I'm still having the same problem. I have a 2013 and it's the original battery if that might have anything to do with. I just tested the voltage and that's good.

View 4 RepliesI have a 97 toyota avalon. I just had the battery and alternator changed. Now my clock does not keep correct time (I believe this is only when the car is not running). Also my dome light will not work any longer. My car auto lock does does not lock on its own any more, and if I use the power locks and turn on the dome light, the car unlocks, but the dome light still does not come on. This all started about a week or two ago after installing the alternator.
View 7 RepliesI have a 2012 Prius base model. The dash clock loses almost 3-4 minutes a day. Its still under warranty so I'll likely take it into the dealer and get it checked out..
The only thing "different" is I have a Garmin HD Bluetooth connector (which streams engine stats like the Scanguage does to my GPS unit) hooked up to the OBDII port..but that *should* not cause any issues I think.
So everything in my car has no memory issues but my clock always says 1:00 ... when I start the car....
I have tried another control unit (the climate control, nav screen, etc buttons) where the clock is located to see if I had a bad unit and it still did the same thing.
I have a brand new battery from Lexus and everything else in the car seems to be fine....this was an issue before I bought the new battery.
I've owned Acura's for 15 years total and now own my first Lexus. Loving it so far. Just bought a used 2013 GS350 luxury package with only 12,000 miles believe it or not. Spectacular condition. Loving it so far after 4 days!
Quick condition, is there a way to permanently display the digital clock somewhere on the nav screen or is the analog clock the only option? Not a big deal, but prefer digital clocks.
Have the problem with trunk carpet not fitting well around the trunk opening?
Mine doesn't sit under the gasket, or even around the gasket for that matter...almost like it has started sagging over time.
When I turn the knob under the clock counter-clockwise to reset/change the hours, it works fine, when I turn the knob clockwise to change the minutes nothing happens? Do running the VAG-COM instrument cluster output tests might fix it?
View 3 RepliesI have a 2013 GS350 F sport with 56k miles. It was running fine yesterday, but today it wouldn't start. The engine keeps cranking but does not start. When you first try to start it, several lights come on, but after a few seconds they go away, but these lights remain on (see picture below). My advisor from Lexus said the light with the steering wheel and ! is for the power steering system.

Over the past year we have been noticing that the HVAC blower doesn't turn on from time to time. All settings in the control panel seem normal and the fan speed is turned on. Most of the time everything is working normally, sometimes when the car starts the blower isn't working and then starts after a minute of driving. Sometimes I notice the blower isn't working and I turn up the fan speed and after a few clicks it starts working normally for the remainder of the drive. And then sometimes the blower doesn't ever start and I need to turn off and restart the car a few times. When the blower hasn't been working the a/c compressor has been turning on, something in the blower circuit is failing.
There are five possibilities:
The HVAC controller isn't telling the blower to turn on
The power relay isn't always working
There is a wiring or connection problem
The blower motor itself isn't working
The power mosfet is failing.
What needed to be replaced?
Got a brand new 2013 GS350 fsport. 2 weeks in, dash rattles. Dealer pulling whole thing out, says no big deal. Bluetooth connectivity issues, android connectivity doesn't work. Dealer says wait on new app.

View 14 RepliesI have a 2013 Accent and have installing driving lights. I am looking for the correct high beam wire on the driver's side on the headlight assembly. I will then run this to a relay so that when I turn on my highs, the driving lights will come on. I have tried to locate the correct wire but the one wire that is hot when the highs are on, is still hot when the car is off as well as the lights.
View 6 RepliesFirst off, its a new battery and I checked my battery connections which are tight and clean. Sometimes it starts up and sometimes it gives me nothing and takes a few times before it will crank. For a few days before that started the clock was resetting sporadically... sometimes i would get in my car and start it and it would be fine - and sometimes i would start it and it would reset to 12:00. Today it started to die, twice when i was stopped at red lights it would completely just lost all power - but I was able to crank it right back up and it started right away.
Last year I had the clock resetting thing as well, it lasted over a month - then one day after a long trip I pulled into a gas station and the car just wouldn't crank up - the battery was dead and I bought a new one. So the battery I have in there isn't even a year old yet. Funny thing is I had that battery tested and the guy said it was good - now I wonder if it was my battery last time at all. Seems like its something electrical, something somewhere. The a/c goes on and off on it all the time, but that has happened for a few years now.
I have a no spark no fuel situation. But my check engine light does not come on and my clock does not work. My turn signals dont work on the dash and the bulbs. But my hazerds work fine. 1997 yukon 5.7L...
View 7 RepliesAfter several checks and resets , my Touareg clocks are fast by about 2 min/week. No other electrical problems. Not a known problem with my dealer. Clocks aren't hi-tech ... MFI may have clock module- seems overkill to change it.

View 2 RepliesSuper excited still just picked up a 13 cpo fsport awd, obsidian and cabernet. Playing with the set up and seeing some of the posts on here a couple questions I had.
#1. There's a DIY thread for changing the puddle light. I couldn't find in the settings how to turn those lights on. When I lock the doors or unlock, they don't turn on.
#2. In the phone settings, there's an option to show contact pictures for the caller ID. I tried a couple calls, but the picture doesn't show on the dash screen, but does on my phone.
The clock on my wife's '06 2.0T changes one hour every time I get in it. Basically, it's either an hour fast or an hour slow every day.
