I have a 2013 GS with 50K miles. Auto headlights stay on and keep my car in nightmode even when it's super bright out

View 13 RepliesI need to adjust the headlights for my 2015 Lexus gs 350, because it's too low, and it do nothing in semi dark roads. I have removed engine covers, but still, I don't see anything that I can adjust for the headlights.
View 4 RepliesHeadlights are factory adjusted too low? Maybe it's just me, but I don't believe the headlights are factory adjusted high enough because the headlight coverage distance is not as good as I'm used to seeing. I believe I will adjust my headlights for a slightly higher (upward) aim to see if it improves the distance the headlights cover.
View 14 RepliesJust picked up a 2013 LX with low miles and wish to do some things to protect it from stone chips, etc. that are common on our roads. Yes, actually some dirt roads too. What are the best products to use on the headlights and fog lights to get some protection?
View 1 RepliesI had my navigation system reboot yesterday and since then, when the headlights go on, the navigation screen dims rather than stay in daytime mode (brighter). How to keep the navigation screen on daytime when headlights go on?
View 6 RepliesI have a GX470 and just had the timing belt replaced. Now my "airbag light" stays on all the time.
View 12 RepliesMy 2013 Prius v headlights are angled low. I went to the dealer who did check them but said there is nothing they can do. I find them dangerous and am constantly needing to switch from low to high beams.
View 5 RepliesHeadlights on 2013 Prius too dim. Any good aftermarket headlight assembly for 2013 Prius with stronger bulbs. Have tried HID bulbs, not much improvement. Have seen this issue mentioned elsewhere.
View 12 RepliesIs there an option for Auto On Headlights for the 2013 GLS?
View 14 RepliesAfter 1 1/2 weeks I finally took the new Elantra out in the night time for a quick look see to check out the headlights. Immediately I noticed that the stock headlights have a definite cutoff down the road in front of you. That's kinda cool and Ok, BUT, in driving only 35mph, I felt like I was already overdriving the headlights. I'm thinking about tweaking the lights up a bit and counting the turns of the screw if that's still the way it aims. Have you noticed your headlights seemingly aimed a little low? Seems like and extra 50 feet would go a long way, but I don't want to aim them in other's eyes either.
View 8 RepliesMy girlfriend has a 2014 Santa Fe Sport, and she usually leaves the headlights "on" because they turn off shortly after she locks her car or whatnot. For some reason, they don't ALWAYS turn off. Probably 30% of the time they stay on. Well, it was super cold this weekend and he car wouldn't start remotely, so we took mine instead. But lo and behold, her battery is completely dead.
Is there something that would cause these to stay on only sometimes? She's going to start turning on and off, but the intermittent part seems odd to me.
My car came stock with the LED strip on the grill and was wondering if there's a way to keep the lights from dimming when the headlights are on?
Noticed that with the stock ones but they get dimmer when you're headlights are on. I want to keep a constant brightness.
i have a 2013 Ecoboost Screw. This morning, I was leaving for work about 0445, and was pulling out of my driveway, when I realized my headlights were not on. I tried rotating the switch a few times off and on, and still nothing. I pulled back in my driveway and checked all fuses for headlights, both low beams and high beams. All good. My parking lights, turn signals, and tail lights all work.
When I got home from work tonight, I tried a few more things. I pulled the lamp housing and checked for voltage directly to the bulb. I get 0.9 VDC at one pin and 0 VDC at the other two. Not nearly enough to fire up a bulb. To a known good ground.
I opened the dashboard to check the harness at the switch itself, and when I unplugged it, all lights turned on (except the headlights). Is that a failsafe in case the switch goes out while driving?
As a last ditch desperate measure, I disconnected my negative battery terminal for about 15 minutes just to see if anything changed. I don't know where else to go from here.
I would like to change my Headlights and Fog Light from regular Yellow color from factory to White color. My headlights and my fog lights I think they are all Halogen. I heard about LED light also halogen lights that illuminate white. My is Toyota Avalon 2013 XLE Touring

I cannot find the TPMS reset button. My car is GS350 f sport 2013 model.
View 3 RepliesI ran into this problem on my 2006 GS 430. It was caused by the lights beginning to wear out. It started on my left bulb and then both started doing it. The info was a great as originally I thought it was the ballasts. These are very expensive and hard to change.
One other word of caution, make sure the car is off for at least an hour so the high voltage in the ballast dissipates. These bulbs operate at something like 50,000 volts and that will definitely stand your hair up.
My Gs350 headlights are HID's I'm not sure if I'm suppose to change the bulb or the ballast itself... It does it on both lights and they both go out randomly or at the same time...
View 14 RepliesI picked up a 2014 IS 250 AWD in July. I was indecisive about the LED headlights but after a little research, I decided it was a good call. However, now that's in winter and dark out at 4pm I've really noticed how low the LED headlights are aimed. The high beams are even worse! I had a 12 GTI Autobahn and that car had the best headlights I've ever had and I was able to raise the headlights just hair very easily.
At any rate, I spent an hour today trying to figure out how to raise the headlights. Any DIY on this yet or can even locate the leveling devices? Also, I wanted to change out the H16 11W fog light bulbs but 11W seems so dim... The average bulb is a 50-55W. Won't that melt the housing?
Both low beam headlights went out at the same time on my 2012 ES 350, What can I check for before I go to the dealer?
View 1 RepliesSo I've been taking apart my 06 GS430 for about a week now. Dealing with all the small kinks I'd like to get out of the way.
One major and possibly costly fix are my headlights. Since I purchased the car back in 2012 the headlight lenses were slightly cracking on the inside but not so bad. Though now it's more noticeable than ever and it's really bugging me. I've never had an experience taking headlights apart nor do I have the talent to do so. I'd probably go to a friend that does this type of stuff..
My question before I end up spending an arm and a leg on new headlights. Can these be restored in any way?
