I recently put my stock 18's with TPMS. After 200 miles the car is still refusing to communicate with the TPMS, I still got the low pressure light and all 4 sides show no data. I tried resetting sensors by holding the TPMS button, but nothing is happening. Not sure what happened ?

View 3 RepliesI have a luxury model gs and thinking about going with 19 f sport. The 19 inch f sport wheels does not have the tpms with the sale. My question is, can I use the tpms that are on my car? Or do I have to purchase a new set?
View 9 RepliesI added air to my tires today and wanted to reset the TPMS, the manual stated that the button to hold for a few seconds is located on the lower Left side of the dash below the fuel door release button area. I searched far and wide and am unable to find any button?
Where this button is or how to reset the system.
Stuck at Starbucks at the moment waiting for my car to get towed. Thought I would post here to get some feedback.
I have a 2002 4 cylinder Camry that is refusing to start. The battery seems OK as all the lights are on. The car is not turning over either (cranking).
The car has had no issues (touch wood) since I got it at 50k miles. It is currently at 100k miles.
I believe the issue is with the starter. When I started the car earlier today, I noticed it started a little differently then before. It took a second or two longer to start.
Does the problem can be a starter? I am getting the car towed to my house in about an hour.
My 2005 Chevy Cobalt is refusing to start on occasion. I turn the key, nothing. Its not the battery. I wait exactly 10 minutes and it starts no problem!The dealer wants me to take it in only when this is happening but in 10 minutes the tow truck driver won't even arrive. What is the problem? The computer?

View 7 RepliesI put my summer tires back on my Prius and register the tmps and came up with a code c2126 when I use the laptop it show all tire sensor are not reading. My winter tire had tmps that I register to the car and worked fine I took them off and put summer tires on register the print out I had and now the system does read any of the wheels.

View 8 RepliesTPMS warning light is sometimes on, sometimes flashes, sometimes off. Only 2800 miles. Checked your pressures @ 38 psi. Have had no tire issues, nails. Etc. Took to dealer today. Service advisor said too much air in tires. Lowered to 35 psi. I have doubts about their"fix". Time will tell.

View 5 RepliesI have a 2013 F250 and to day the TPMS light came on with a low tire warning message. A little back history, I put new tires on the truck when I bought it and they currently have 9200 miles on them. I didn't like having the tires at the 80psi the tire shop set them at so I lowered them to 62psi right away and haven't had any issues with the low pressure warning going off. Today I was backing into a parking spot and the warning light came on with a low tire message. I checked all the tires and they were right where they should be, but when I got home I added another 5psi to see what would happen and the light never went off after taking it on a 10 mile drive.
My question is, do I have a wheel sensor issue or is something messed up in the computer? I know the door sticker says 75psi front/80rear, but I've been running the tires at 62psi for 9200 miles without trouble so I can't think that the pressure is the culprit. Also, does the spare tire have a sensor in it? In the manual in one paragraph it seemed like it does, but in the next it said that the spare doesn't have one so the light will stay on to remind you to change the spare out.
I have a 2003 Saturn Vue that will start and run then die after 2 seconds or so. I thought we needed to reset the security, but the Security light never comes on. I get both the service and the service with a wrench. I put it on a computer and we get the U2107 code. Can a weak battery be the culprit? I cleared the code and it started then as soon as I turn it off, the code is back and it starts then dies. I'm told that it needs a BCM, but the code indicates that the BCM cannot communicate with the ECM.
View 1 RepliesI went to a local toyota today to have the brake fluid changed and their scantool couldn't communicate with the car.
Now, I wanted to ask a few questions.
1) Is there a separate communication ecu that handles the diagnostics port?
2) Is there a fuse that could have been broken?
To give a few more details, the car is a 2004 gen II prius. It has an lpg system installed. The lpg ecu reads the fuel trims through the diagnostics port all the time.
I am having trouble with my 2000 Excursion 7.3. It died on my wife this morning, but it started right back up and made it home(4 miles). Figured it was the CPS but when i went to hook up the code reader, it just kept saying that i needed to connect it to the vehicle first. I verified that the reader was working on both my other vehicles. Then had to go to work. I wondering if my ECM is going bad?

View 5 RepliesToday I spent an eventful day at the dealership getting oil changes on my IS300 and my GS430. After leaving with my gs430, my Tpms light came on. So I went back to the dealer and they ran a check to confirm it is the Tpms. My service guy didn't tell me which tire went out but I'm planning on getting rims in a couple of months. Should I just order order a new set of tpm sensors or just find out which needs to be replaced and replace it

I removed my stock 19" wheels and replaced with 20" from my '14 IS350.
I know I can get the 20" sensors reprogrammed onto the car but not sure if there is only 1 setting available.
Are we able to recalibrate our speedometers. Mine is about 5mph off. And can we shut off our TPMS? I remember 10 yrs ago I was able to in my old 745.
View 14 RepliesWhat is involved in fixing TCM system and ECM (I could not start my '04 Phaeton, had it towed twice, only to find I needed a switch, frame, and a mechanism [shifter]).
Now I notice the center vent door that goes over the clock has two cracks in it and I also noticed some other scratches on the so-called wood area on the console. What is a TCM, and an ECM, and what would have to be removed to replace brake switch, PRNDL sensor, and shifter mechanism? Before work was done, service writer said the steering column and the center console would have to be removed. I know when I go back to the dealer Monday (2.8.10) there will probably be denial, so I would just like to know in advance what had to be removed.
