Had my '15 GS F Sport for a month, and thing fogs up really quick and easy. It can be 60 outside and in seconds my windows are fogged. I always have to drive with my defrost on, so today I got a rock chip and seconds later an 8" crack because of it.

I've been toying with the idea of doing the OEM fog light retrofit since I got the car, but had some concerns with the buzzing reported by some TDI owners. Ended up needing to put money elsewhere.
I followed the instruction from another poster, gforce1108, to bypass the BCM and ground the White/Black wire to keep the fogs on with high beams as well as eliminate any buzzing. Going through the install was pretty easy with the exception of getting through the firewall into the engine compartment, but using a wire hanger as a guide I was able to get that done. Got everything connected and turned on the lights but the fogs are not coming on.
I thought it might be a problem with where I had the white/black wire grounded, but moving it to various metal supports under the steering column made no difference. I then decided to just follow the included instructions to tap to the BCM hoping that would at least make them work, but no dice.
I'm at a loss. I've checked that there is power going to F37 on the fuse box where I have the red wire inserted, 15 amp fuse is installed, and rechecked every connector to make sure it was flush. Not sure what could be the issue. I've got the Euro Switch installed as well.
Not sure if it's worth noting, but when I turned it over after the install my dashboard lit up with ECM errors for the traction, tire pressure, and the steering wheel icon. I've seen in that thread mentioned above that other owners had lights come on on initial start after install, but after a trip around the block they went away. Mine are still present after driving for a day and a half.
My brother thinks it might be the relay plug is bad. Bought the kit from Keffer VW like a lot of others on here.

Using separate switch to power the the fogs? I know the stalk method is better but 1100$ seems steep. If so, what kind of switch the looks of is oem?

Last week I got my 2015 IS250. I was wondering if we can drive with the running lights and the fog lights on at the same time. I try on the parking position and the fogs wouldn't turn on, and on auto it's only for the DRL. How to make this setup work. I am hearing a new beep sound (It's a quick double high pitched beep) when I start my car. What it could be? I do not see anything that indicates there is an issue with the car (i.e. no warning lights) but it double-beeps every time I start it now.

My year-old Camry hybrid stalled out last night. It was the second time this has happened. The first time, about a month ago, I made a quick start from a light, followed by a quick stop, both actions to avoid an accident. (I was about to get rear-ended and scooted into the intersection to give the guy closing in my mirror more room.) After the stop, the car had no power but it started up, no problem. Last night, I was about a minute into my trip, stopped at a light, and the power just died. Again, it started no problem.
This time I noticed that the radio went out. Not sure about the headlights. The emergency blinkers came on at the touch of the button before I restarted. In both cases, I stepped on the accelerator and got no power. Took it to the dealer and they couldn't replicate the problem, of course, and whatever interrogation they did of the systems found no faults. They had to be convinced that I knew the difference between an actual stall and just going from gas to electric. It's kind of disconcerting to just stall out in the middle of the street. And I'm concerned that this is a problem that could get worse -- probably just after the warranty lapses.

All of a sudden the front left lights and both fog lights stopped working. It must be a fuse or a loose connection.

I purchased a used set of JDM HID/LED fogs awhile ago and had them installed by a buddy of mine who owns a shop. The HID portion was plug and play, but I cannot figure out how to get the LED portion to light up outside of tapping into the parking lights. It came with a DRL switch with a number of harnesses attached and a ground wire. I dropped the panel under the steering wheel and cannot see anywhere to plug it in. I reached out to the few people who have installed these, and contacted a number of sellers, but have not had much luck.
Do the LED portion has a harness to plug into on a US Spec car?

So I'm trying to figure out my brake problem and trying to get my ABS to kick in.... Someone suggested I try doing a quick stop to get my ABS to kick in to see if my brake booster is working or not.

Start the car, turn to steering wheel 30 degree to the left and quicky turn the steering to the right, i can hear some knocking sound from steering wheel or steering column, when I drive on bumpy roads, i can hear the rattle sound from steering wheel or column.

At the airport made a wrong entrance and notice it so fast, therefore, did a quick reverse and shifted back to drive, but the car died on me. It took me a little while to see what is happening and start the engine again, but the cars behind me were not real cooperative.

I have an 05 RX330 with about 120K on it. I've had it for about a year - no real issues. The car has a slight rattle coming from the engine compartment on the driver side on acceleration. From what I have been reading, that noise is normal on these cars. What I don't find normal is that it has an intermittent loud growl on quick acceleration from a complete stop. It sounds like the exhaust of a muscle car from the 60s, like Toretto's car in the Fast and the Furious.
It happens like at 2500 RPMs for a few seconds then it goes away. The noise is in the same area. It's driving me nuts. And just like everything, whenever I take it in to the shop to have it checked out - it does not make the noise. So far it has happened twice. Last week and last night. I'm afraid it be the transmission, but no check engine light, no loss of power, and the transmission shifts normal. I'm thinking it's an exhaust leak, but as mentioned before - no check engine light. If there was an exhaust leak I would imagine it would trigger an emissions code.

When I drive over quick choppy bumps in pavement I get a rattle in the rear of the suspension, but only when the bump is on one side. When the bump is long and activates both rear wheels, like a speed bump or a large road crack I don't get the rattle.
The sound seems to be worse on the right side and I can't really figure it out. Anything specific I should look out for?

I hit my panic button to located car at school and I hit it again nothing turned off alarm kept going off then I hit unlock button horn sound went away but my hazards were still flashing. As I hit it again it was a delayed reaction and finally my hazards went off the buttons ony remote were a bit delayed to work after all that my fogs stopped working bought a new relay and checked all fuses still not turning on also hooked it up to VAG and it was reading the lights

I did some VAG COM work today. (Comfort Blinker, fogs as DRL, Needle Sweep, Auto Lock/Unlock, Remote Windows, Fogs as Corner lights, Fogs don't go off when high beams on). I am using a Hex- Can cable that is approx. 1 year old. These are the malfunctions I am getting with the VAG Com

New to the MK6 world and the halogens they have.. I am used to having Xenons... My question is there a way to run DRL's and fogs together?
I know there's a way to wire the city lights and fogs to run together, but I love the way the halogen DRLs look and i would like to run them together with the fogs. I do have a Euro switch.

I have Xenon HID, adaptive headlights, what ever you want to call them. Normally, I run my headlights in Auto, which means the fogs are off. This morning I needed the fogs so when I turned them on, the right headlight went out, throwing up the fault light.
I ordered a pair of bulbs this morning but on my way home, the lights were functional again in Auto. As a test, I turned on the fogs again and sure enough, the right low beam went out and the fault light lit up.
Is this an early indicator of a bulb going or is related to something else?

These replace the fog light assembly totally and they have like 5 leds or something like that..
The fogs are technically useless too me and I think these look hella unique (at least better than hids in a way).

I know this mod can be done on other models of Toyota, but for 6th gen Camry? And no, I won't leave the high-beams on when oncoming traffic approaches.
