I feel like the insulation or air flow of the interior makes my ear pop especially when I'm going over bumps. It's like there's an air pressure difference. Am i crazy?
View 4 RepliesRecently bought a CPO 2010 RX350 with 57k miles on it at a dealer on 8/30/14. Its developed quite a bit of interior rattles and creaks from what sounds like the structure over bumps and roads that aren't smooth. Plus the sunroof has a high frequency rattle. None of these were present during the test drive.

Any clue how to fix this?

I understand that when s-flow is on and the front passenger seat is occupied, it will detect that person and turn on their air. Turns it off when that seat is unoccupied. Does the same go for the passengers in the back of a luxury package GS? I had people back there and they said me turning on s-flow turned off their AC. I normally have s-flow on so the back seat passengers disengaged it when they turned on their AC. Then I turned it off by engaging s-flow again.

View 9 RepliesIt's now been just about 2 weeks with the new car! but I've noticed a few little things that I'll take it in for before the warranty runs out...one of them is a noticeable dull clunk in the right rear...it also hear it when i go over small the medium sized bumps on the left side...sway bar link? over big bumps i don't seem to hear it...
View 12 RepliesSo I know the 2013 GS (or many GS in general) have had complaints of squeaks and rattles. My GS has a couple but are very minor and only occasional.
I do have one noise that seems unusual though. When I am driving and drive over moderate bumps in the road, I hear a muffled clunk or thunk type of noise only from the rear passenger area and never anywhere else.
My car is a stock CPO 2013 F sport and not lowered or anything. Stock rims and tires. The shock does not seem to be leaking.
The noise happens regardless of if I am in regular or sport+ modes. Was going to mention it to the dealer at my next oil change and door trim replacement appointment I need to make Ina couple months.

View 7 RepliesWhile driving over bumps my front end makes horrible rattling sounds. The car also bounces somewhat wildly when i push down while it's parked. I figure its time to replace the suspension as it's got 125k miles on it. My question is exactly what parts do i need to buy? I am going to do both the front and back. I see names of parts thrown around all over. bushings, struts, springs, bearings etc... so what parts do i need to buy?

I've had my R for 10 days and I've noticed a weird noise in the interior when I roll over some bumps. It literally sounds like a bird chirping. Very odd. It's not on all bumps, but it is noticeable and seems to be happening more often. I've still got less than 500 miles on the car.
What the heck is it? I'll be taking my car into the dealership on 2/28 to have my front grille (sans license plate bracket) installed. So, I'll ask them to take a look then.
Just got my 2012 Prius. The interior plastic trim squeaks when pressed by hand/knee or during cornering and bumps. I'm talking about the center console and flying bridge thing, door panels, ect. I'm in the process of upgrading speakers and adding limit amounts of sound deadener. I thought about adding silicon grease on the plastic tabs that hold the plastic together....does that sound like a good idea. The main offender is the arm rest console box.

View 7 RepliesPicked up my brand new 2013 Elantra 2 nights ago. 51 Km's on it when I drove it off the lot. Immediately noticed it was making a very loud noise whenever I hit any road bumps, potholes, sewers, train tracks, etc.
I can't tell if it is coming from the front, or back of the car. Many of the threads on here seem to be talking about a common rear shocks issue? Also read a lot about faulty struts? Swaybar?
Clunk in the front end when going over speed bumps? That is the only time I ever get it, never on bumpy roads or anything like that just at speed bumps. It seems to be louder on the drivers side but I am pretty sure its on both sides. I never noticed it until a couple speed bumps were installed along my normal route, but that could be because maybe I never drove over them previously?
View 3 RepliesI just got my 2013 Elantra in Pearl White GLS Preferred Package about a month ago, and since then the interior lights fuse has blown twice. The first time I took it back to the dealer and they replaced a fuse. It then worked for about a week or so and they're out again. Also, the passenger fog lamp keeps just blowing bulbs.

When accelerating to around 60 km/h (40 m/h), it bumps after pedal release (It accelerates right after pedal release, while normally it should decelerates and stays put). This problem only happens at around 60 km/h (40 m/h) and no happen at other speed. But at lower speed transmission is sometimes jerky when accelerating or decelerating. I took car to Ford dealer, and they reloaded (reset) the programming module. It worked better in 1st week, but got worse after that. I notice that transmission jerky problem is worse in hot weather (over 20 degree with sunshine), but is better in cool and cloudy weather and not sure in cold weather.
View 3 RepliesSo about a month ago my 2013 Sonata GLS started to make some clunking noise going over the littlest bumps over the road from the front end on both right and left side.
I brought it to one mechanic and they said the rack and pinion needs replacing which is an expensive fix. I couldn't believe that was the problem as I had no leaks and it was on their solid. I ended up taking it to my uncles mechanic and he stated its the stabilizer links on the front right and front left wheels. My way to work has a lot of bad pot holes... so I'm hoping that the stabilizers are actually the problem.
Anyways, tomorrow I will be bringing it to the mechanic to have them both changed. I know a lot have been complaining about this issue and instead of replacing the rack and pinion, I thought I'd try and see if it actually is the stabilizer links and provide a fix for some of the sonata owners on here.
I have a 2013 F150 with 80,000km+ Original front brakes. When I am driving around and hit any bumps, I can hear a rattle. A slight pedal will make the noise go away.
The pads still have lots of life in them, so besides replacing them, what can I do? Or, is it actually something else? I have a 100,000km warrentee.
Noticed this, do I have a flaw? When I turn the AC or heater fan off and I'm driving I have constant air flow coming out the vents, super annoying....
View 10 RepliesSo I switched out my bulbs to standard LEDs. I was changing the back map lights when they all turned off.. I thought the timer just ran out but now they won't turn back on..
The rear light in the truck, map lights in the front and the side map lights.. Did I short something? I don't see how as to I wasn't holding anything metal in my hands.. I did have an issue trying to get off the back map lights (i gave up), but not my lights won't turn on....
Heard wicked vibration from front of car (almost like I hit something and it jammed under car) pulled over to realize sound was still there when stopped. after a few seconds realized it was the fan running (on setting 4) now a couple days later sound isn't as bad but still vibrating, doesn't matter where it's blowing (feet, chest, windshield). I bought sonata 20 months ago and has just under 23000 miles...
