Lexus GS 2006-11 :: Slight Fluttering Sound When Accelerating On The Freeway

So, lately I've noticed a slight fluttering sound in my '08 GS460 when accelerating on the freeway or up a slight incline. It'll kick in around 2,000-4,000 RPM, and it almost sounds like it's coming from right underneath the center console. I did have an exhaust system installed, then uninstalled, so maybe it's something the shop did, but can't be positive whether or not it was there before (always drive with my music on pretty loud).

Noticed a slight whining, fluttering-like noise when accelerating? Faint but it has an annoying tone. Seems to come from driver side but not sure it can't be heard on passenger.

My 2010 450h emits a fluttering sound on windy days. The noise sounds like a hvac flap could be vibrating when the wind hits. The noise is not loud by any means, however can get very annoying hearing it everything the wind gusts hit when you are at a stop. The other afternoon I was doing some basic winter prep under the hood and I could hear it under the hood as well.
I got my 2010 as a Lexus CPO early in 2013 and the noise has been there since day one, it's not something that developed recently. The last time I took it in I got a fail to replicate response from the dealership.

I have been having issues with the tires rubbing even on a slight dip on the freeway specially when running at about 70 mph . I have a 20x9 front offset 32 tires 245/35/20 and 20x10 rear offset 35 tires 275/30/20. I also installed tanabe nf210 springs. Is it bec of the offset? What can I do to get rid of it?

I purchased a ES300h in March 2013. Starting end of September I noticed a rattle (pebbles in a tin can tumbling sound) when I went up a slight grade, accelerating from a stop, or accelerating after a brief coasting on the freeway. The first time at the dealer they said stop using Costco gas and use Top Tier. I used Shell and Chevron and there was a 80% improvement but the nuisance still continued, some days more and some days less, meaning when it rained it poured.
On the third visit to the dealer, with two specialists on a ride along of course it does not make that noise, but left it there for them to find the continued problem and they conceded it is engine knock to which there is nothing out of specs with the engine AND say that this is normal. I have never had a car do this, maybe specific to hybrids? The service advisor goes on to tell me that they filled my tank with 91 octane to stop the knock, BUT, the manual says use 87!!!
Some say this can lead to engine damage, some say only blown gasket, the dealer says no problem! A friend of mine has the same car and has no issues.

I have a 06 Ford Freestyle with roughly 121,000 miles that I purchased 2 months ago. I love the car. Only issue I am noticing is when accelerating at take off, once the car gets up to speed I notice a slight, quick pull to the left and then its fine. I sometime feel this pull when turning to right(like around curves).

I've got a 99 1.8t, and every once in awhile when the turbo starts spooling I hear a fluttering, not sure how to describe it. sort of like when your valves run low on oil and you can hear em tick? Like something is fluttering in the turbo when its spooling, instead of just a steady sucking of air.

When I start the car in the morning & step on the gas there is a fluttering noise which happens each time I accelerate until it warms up. I bought the car with 17,000 miles on it and I didn't notice it happening then, but it was warm weather then.

Ok here is my question. I've noticed the power on my car has felt inconsistant for the last little while. I finally got around to logging the car and my boost peaks at mid 20's just over 3000 RPM and then drops fast to between 13-15 psi before I even get to 5000 RPM.
Under full boost I hear a low fluttering sound like the diverter valve opening and closing when this is happening. I also don't get the typical diverter valve sound when shifting when the car is doing this.
I took my diverter valve out and inspected it. I can pushing the piston up very easily with almost no resistance, is that normal? I would think that it should be hard to push the piston up if not wouldn't boost pressure be able to overcome the piston and leak past?
My mods are. HPA tune, HPA catted down pipe, and VWR intake.

When I started the V^ Passat today it made a fluttering/imitation purring kind of sound...not re-assuring at all. What it could indicate? It only lasted a second then fadded out and ran fine.
maybe a belt tensioner or oil pressure regulator or something like that getting up to snuf?

I just bought a 2007 Prius a couple of days ago and noticed on my drive home the first day after purchase that the A/C got hot when I was accelerating onto the freeway and remained hot for a couple of minutes after that. I turned it off then turned it back on, and it blew cold air for a couple of minutes, then settled on a "cool-but-not-cold" middle ground. When I test drove the vehicle, I ran the A/C, but since it wasn't overly warm, I didn't notice that the car struggles to reach "cold" and mostly blows only "cool" air.

I have a 2000 5.2 ltr. Dodge Ram Van. Only in overdrive, only with the cruise on, there is a slight hesitation at freeway speeds every few seconds. The Chrysler dealer said it was the overdrive clutches going bad, to the tune of trans rebuild. Guess what? It didn't fix it.

On my way to work this morning I was accelerating onto the freeway when my CEL started flashing then eventually went off, and my EPC light was left on. Definitely idling rough, feels like a misfire. When I got to work turned the car off and back on, still rough and the cell flashed again then stayed solid, EPC light also on.
Based on what little research I've done so far it looks and sounds like a misfire. I have my scanner to double check, but it is at home. Can I baby it home 10-15 miles on the freeway? It seems to drive "ok" above about 2.5k, rougher below that. 2012 GTI APR stage 1 about 43k on the clock.

Recently I noticed my car vibrates to left and right when I hit the pedal and the speed is around 40mph and above. The car runs smooth if I maintain the speed.The car has 176K and running quite good and I am about to have the timing belt service.I am just curious what could cause this: timing belt? fuel filter? The car is 2001 acura TL so it has front wheel drive.

Have a slight clunking sound in the front of elantra, only noticed it yesterday and is only there at start offs and is there in forward and reverse motions. May be more of a click like sound at times as well.

I have a 2007 sonata 2.4L with 93k miles that has a knocking sounds coming from the bottom of the engine. It seems that it is a bad rod bearing and was caused by low oil levels. I did not know that the oil was that low (3 quarts low) It started about a week ago. I know I'm gonna have to put it on jack stands and drop the oil pan.

I noticed that driving my LS last weekend that the right headlight was fluttering going down the road. It did not go off but it looked like a loose connection. When I arrived at the golf course, someone told me that he noticed that the right headlight was out. Now I got home and I have checked the headlight and nothing seams to be a problem. Both low beam and high beams go off and on with no problem. My question is : is the headlight bulb going out or do I have a connection problem? I hate to take off the tire and inner wheel cover to change the bulb unless I need to. Second question: If I have to change the bulb what is the best brand to use?

2008 Accent. Timing belt broke. Took the head off and had valves replaced (2) and head work done. Had everything put back together. Car runs. Except it makes a slight ticking sound when warm. When it's cold it ticks a lot.

Slight ticking sound or light rattling that is coming from the pillar where the seatbelts are anchored? Hate to bring it to the dealer and have them tell me the sound is not there if its something I can fix on my own.

I purchased my 2014 GX a couple of months ago and already logged in about 2K. The car has been great so far. The only thing that I'm not so used to, is a strange feeling when accelerating or going uphill (even slightly) - I can feel the engine roar(?) through the steering wheel - I can't really describe it well - it's not a vibration per se, but more like you feel the engine working harder than usual through the slight vibration of the steering wheel. This is my first V8 car - I used to have a V6 Acura MDX before, and never felt that. There is a good chance this is normal for a V8 based truck, but I wanted to get others' input.

When I apply the brakes on and off while in park, I hear a "fluttering squeaking" noise. I examined the brake pads and calipers, and everything seems to be fine. I greased up all the brake hardware and no luck.
Also, I have a popping noise while making turns while I am not braking. I really doubt there is any connection with the brakes? I recently went testing in a parking lot, and while slightly turning from left to right I noticed the popping constantly. Keep in mind no brakes were applied.
Last year the dealer replaced the brake actuator and all arms were replaced. BTW, I am past my extended 100K warranty!!
