Having problems with the rear doors sticking? I.e. they are hard to open and close? Seems like the hinge is no good but I am not sure.

View 4 RepliesI bought a 2016 ES 350 last month.
The doors (especially the rear doors) require quite a solid push to close them, or they just come to within an inch or so of closing and don't close all the way.
Want to know if this is a problem with the production of my car in particular, or if the model is just like this.
I have a 1977 GMC Suburban with a power rear window in the tailgate. It has become very hard for the motor to open or close the window and it makes a screeching sound when being operated. Does the interior window frame need lubricated or is it rubbing on something?. I know there is a access plate on the inside of the tailgate but the window denies access to the inside of the tailgate. Is there a way to open the window when the tailgate is open so I can access the interior of the tailgate?.
View 4 RepliesI noticed that I need to use more strength go close the driver's door in my 2007 gs350 All the other doors i can close with minimum effort. Is this normal?
View 14 RepliesWhen opening Power Rear Door , the door will open then immediately close . After going through this initial opening, the second attempt will open properly & close only when Power Door Button is depressed. Recently had some engine work done by Dealer & wondering if door settings may have been disturbed. 2005 RX330
View 11 RepliesAfter owning the truck for a little over a year I figure it's time to fix the little stuff staring off with the rear door. When pressing any of the 3 buttons to open/close it I get it to work 50% of the time. That being said, I can't pinpoint a specific bad part.
View 14 RepliesIs there a way to tighten, or adjust the rear doors to stay open? Mine close by themselves on even a slight incline.
View 2 RepliesAs of recent my Drivers Door seems like dead weight and is very hard to close compared to my other doors. No accidents or hitting anything. I checked the hinges and they are fine and the door is lined up perfect. Door is not rubbing anything either when its closing. All seems to be normal from inspecting. All the other doors are just fine. If I push the door with light force it comes back toward me.
View 14 RepliesEvery time I open then close either of the driver side doors (haven't tried passenger yet), I hear a thumping noise coming from the trunk.
When I opened the trunk to see what it was, the noise stopped. Only with trunk closed does this happen.
Could it be air pressure causing the trunk lid to move? I didn't think the car was that air tight.
I'm noticing that my GS footwell lighting doesn't come on when I open the doors although the setting is on "DOOR". THe dome lights come on normally but the footwell lighting of all seats (passenger and the 2 rear) doesn't come on. Is this normal for a 2006 GS300? or is there a way to program it to come on?
View 7 RepliesI own a stock GS300 2007 RWD doing about 80K miles here in Thailand. I am facing one critical issue with my ride. While driving normally if I hit the brake hard the car seems to loose power then there is a hard knock from the rear which knocks the car forward. I think it is caused from the downshift of the gear, but I am not quite sure. It happens often in the same kind of situation.
View 5 RepliesI just bought 2008 hyundai accent with 51,000 miles and it drives great. Only issue so far is the trunk latch sticks when i open it, and i have to unstick it to close. I ordered an OEM handle from the dealer in hopes that it's the part i need. Any tips on how to replace. I pulled the trim off to look under there and spray some lubricant on it. But not sure how complicated the latch will be to replace.
View 13 RepliesNow and then when I open the sunroof it sticks and wont open... then I close it and try again and it opens but it makes a pop noise as if something sticking.... happens now and then. I am thinking some grease or oil somewhere is needed?
View 2 Replieswhat i have is the driver's side door on my 1999 ranger is hard to open, the door seal sticks to the door and makes it hard to open, i am afraid of breaking the door handle off, is there any thing to clean seal with to make it not stick? the seal is not sticky to touch neither is the door but when out in the sun for a while they stick together, mechanic told me to spray with wd40 that didn't
View 2 RepliesI have a problem with the rear right door on my 2006 GS300. It wont unlock no matter what I do. When I try with the key it just makes a funny whirring sound, and the inside lock switch does nothing at all. I need to take a look at the door but obviously I cannot get it open to do so.
View 12 RepliesThe new rx350 can open and close the trunk with a button...why not the ls460? I'm wondering if anyone tapped the switch in the rear and run the wire to the front & put a switch there so we can close it from inside. Sometimes we accidentally open the trunk and have to run out to close it.
View 14 RepliesOur car was rear-ended (we had a great shop to the repairs and the car drives/looks like it did pre-accident). However, the navigation door magically stopped working now that we have the car back. The navigation screen still works fine, but the open/cose buttons will not make the door/lid open.
On other threads I have searched here, people have suggested this could be from the door being off-track (not the case here), a broken motor (could be the case), and/or a blown fuse (also could be the case).
What fuse I would need to check if it is in fact a fuse? I've looked at the fuse boxes in the engine bay (by the battery) and in the trunk, but all fuses look fine. Is there anywhere else I should look for a fuse before wasting a day at the dealer to diagnose/fix the problem?
Is there a way to have the 2011 RX350 lock all of the doors/trunk automatically when I press the close buton on back of trunk?
Once I press trunk close button on back of trunk, it seems have to wait until it closes before I can lock he entire car and walk away?
If I press the lock button too early, I get the alarm.
I'm having a little bit of a problem with my keyless entry. The rear doors are not opening when i touch the handle, but they do lock. My dealer says that this is "normal" though I'm pretty confident that I have used the keyless entry to open the rear doors in the past. I'm not knocking on my dealer, as they've really been good about warranty issues (no questions asked), but i think my SA is misinformed.
View 15 RepliesSo i haven't used my top for awhile because it's been really hot in texas. I tried it for the first time today and I can't even get the open close switch to blink red? I did a ecu reset by unplugging the battery for 30 minutes nothing. I check the fuses in the trunk and they were all good. I did install the VIas awhile back but I don't think it could be the temp control? I'm assuming if it wasn't plugged in all the way the AC and other functions would not work.
View 14 RepliesMy dad drove the RX350 to get some groceries last night and was shocked to see all the windows and moon roof was open after he came out of the store...
My guess is something was pressed against the unlock key on the remote when he was exiting the car and walk toward the supermarket entrance and triggered the all window open from remote...
Fortunately, nothing was stolen but he was shocked...I think I will have the dealer program the RX and disable this feature...
However, I was also shocked that we can only open all the windows but not close them w/ the remote...seems like a bad design...if you can open windows from the remote...you would think you can close all the windows too right??
