I want to use leatherique on my GS, but I'm afraid of clogging the perforations and somehow losing the cooled seat feature, if you don't know about leatherique you basically massage in one oil and leave it on a hot day, then come back and clean it off with the other cleaner oil that comes with it, I used it on my old 2GS and it worked unbelievable, made my car look almost factory new, got rid of most of the creases. Also what do you do for little things stuck in the perforations that won't vacuum out? I just don't wanna use some liquid cleaner and get it in the holes.

Those little brown marks that you have on your leather for your skin touching it over and over again.What is the best way to clean that stuff off? What about the black scrapes your shoes leave right at the door entrance?

I just took the cover off my MIL's SC430. Been covered and locked for about 3 months. And this is what I found. ALL the leather is completely moldy. How this happened, what to do about it.

In January we bought a 2010 RX 450H with less than 12,000 miles. But 2 months ago noticed a yellowing discoloring on the drivers leather in a few spots. It is the light gray leather. Also some flaking. I had a similar flaking with our 07 ES350. The dealer had their detailer clean the RX drivers leather but now notice it returning and several areas of the coloring flaking off. I've heard they treat any seat imperfections to prep for CPO sale. In fact it looked new when bought. The feel of the drivers leather is also different than all the other seats.
The car still has less than 20,000 miles. This is ridiculous.

My 2009 SE V6, I have the grey cloth/leather combo and the drivers seat is pretty much cracking. I am not sure if it is cheap or the unusually cold winters we had here in MD. The car has 28,000. I am going to show to the dealer because in the cracks, the dye is coming off. I had a Trailblazer LTZ for 3 years and never seen that happen but it was tan leather.
Second, my car at higher speeds has a lot of wind noise, I think it is the mirrors. I am going back to the dealer for my 30k gouging soon and I will show them the seat again.

Weird seat heater issue on my 05 TAP/Ecru. Drivers side seat heater tends to fail intermittently after I apply leather care liquid on the seat. Does not happen on the passenger side. In winter, it failed for nearly a week before coming back to life. Yesterday it failed for the evening, then started working again today. Each time right after I applied leather care to the seats. Same amount applied to passenger and driver's seat and the passenger seat is always OK.
What is causing this ? Of course each time I go to the dealer, it is working fine !!!!

I've been on a detailing spree lately, I'd love to get a sparkling clean engine bay but I'm worried about getting water into the high voltage bits. The ES300h has high voltage cables, motors and the inverter module on the right hand side.
So far I've used a damp cloth and dishwashing soap to wipe off surface dirt and oil. I'm not sure if using a low pressure hose is a good idea. To the hybrid owners out there, how do you keep your engine bay clean?

Cleaning the MAF on the GX460? I have seen videos on youtube but the MAF positioning on the GX460 is a little hard to get to. I am wanting to clean the MAF because I am still experiencing some sluggishness. The vehicle's response had improved after a fuel induction and a spark plug change but it is still sluggish when compared to other GX's I have test drove. It is sort of inconsistent. Sometimes, it drives super smooth and the gears quickly shift other times the gears take forever to upshift and downshift.

How do you clean rear sunroof drains on '06 Explorer? I can't seem to see the rear drains. Do I have to drop the roof liner to get access or is there a way to blow them out from their exit point? BTW, I haven't found their exit yet, so knowing where they exit would be useful as well.
I'm getting an intermittent leak with water coming through the map light. I've resealed all screws and around the inserts for the luggage rack. I've also tried running water through the front drains which seems to be unclogged.

I wanted to know what do you use to clean the interior of your GX? For example the wood, the chrome parts, the display, the plastic around the door switches? I am using the Meguiars Gold Leather spray for the leather which is doing a decent job, but I don't know what's best for the dashboard and the other parts.

My 2012 XLE has about 10,000 miles on it. Today I noticed a scratch on my wifes seat about an inch long. It looked like a black pen mark. Upon close inspection the tan surface of the leather has been scratched off. I wonder how well these seats will wear.

My wife has arthritis problems in her hips and knees, so we always buy cars with leather seats so she can slide in and out easily. This 2013 Prius v Five has the Softex imitation leather seats, which just don't slide very well. I complained at the dealer and asked if I could use something like saddle soap. They said not to use anything on them, and contacted an upholstery shop they have dealt with in the past. They will replace the seat bottoms with real leather (but not a perfect color match)

Can I buy a replacement leather cover for the driver seat in my '04 LE Limited Ed.?
There is a tear in the outer side panel, right by the seam where it meets the back seating panel. I know there are companies that make leather interior kits where you pull off the fabric seat upholstery and pull on the leather, and that these kits are popular with new car dealers.
Where I can find an OEM replacement to match the rest of my interior, which is still in good shape? Would it make better sense to take the leather off of the setback and have a seamstress/upholstery shop set in a new side panel? Or, would I be best off to just find a complete seat that matches and just bolt it in?

I have a 2011 III with leather seats. The car has around 3500 miles and I have noticed the bottom of the seats look wavy and not flat. I wanted to check here before I took it to the dealer to see what they would say, probably that it is "normal". I am afraid the seat will wear faster where the waves are.
