Not sure what I put in there but can't get it to open. It slides back but it does not lift up. I could peek through and see that nothing's preventing from lifting up the are rest so I'm thinking it's something in the top bin that's getting it stuck. (maybe phone charger cable?)
How I can fix this. The top cover is air tight so I can't even see what the problem would be.
I own an 06 camry se with a factory moonroof. moonroof slides open fine but when i slide it closed it does not tilt the back of the glass up to make it level with the roof; also when i use the tilt function it doesn't pop up as much as it used to. Should i take it to the dreaded dealer?

Every time I start my engine, I need to press the menu button on the steering to slide the tachometer to the right and when I turn off the engine, it automatically slides back to the middle. How can I keep it set to slide to the right by default?

ECU replace at dealer .. got code from auto zone, P0756 shift solenoid S2 blocked oil passage, stuck open. tranny shop took 2 days to confirm shift solenoid, changed out shift solenoid #2 35240, still have problem.. now they say it's ECU, rebuild my ECU.. what to do??!!
View 14 RepliesI'm not too familiar with the difference between lift kits and leveling kits. I want to lift my truck 2" but in doing research do i need get a lift kit and a leveling kit? For the front and the back? I have a 2006 F150 4.6 V8 RWD I also haven't been able to find any good places to but the kits (also because I don't know what all i may need) It would be ideal to get a kit i can bolt on myself.

View 3 RepliesMy wife was complaining of white smoke coming from the back of the car and that she smelled gasoline. So I took her 1999 Nissan Maxima to the shop and they put it on the machine and told me that the ignition rod was stuck open and that gasoline was leaking into the engine. They also said that it was not safet to drive. What an ignition rod is and why the car is not safe to drive? The car's value is questionable at this point.

I just bought the car and I noticed that the engine temp looks low to me (see pic attached). Is it supposed to run this cool? I also went to the garage and he checked with a obd2 scanner and nothing was wrong. Could a stuck thermostat be the cause of my poor gas mileage?
Today I was going to wash my car and rolled my driver's window down on the way there. When I got to the car wash I attempted to roll my driver's side window back up. It nudged ever so slightly up about a quarter inch and then nothing. It had totally stopped. I fiddled with the switch and it would go back down completely but when attempting to roll the window back up it would sometimes not move at all, move ever so slightly or move just about a quarter of an inch and stop. Is it possible to just get the window up manually in order to at least block the elements? I'm at a bit of a loss as to what I should do. I'm tempted to run to the drug store and grab some packing tape to seal the window off.
View 8 RepliesThe lock on the rear driver side door doesn't work, it stuck on lock position and it won't open with the remote. You can't even turn the lock by hand from inside. It's like it's jammed or something. The rear passenger door lock was broken a while ago, it was making a nasty noise but still working so I had it changed but this one just stopped working.
How am I gonna fix that. I was thinking in order to fix the lock, they have to remove the door panel first, and to remove the door panel the door should be open to get to the screws. Is it gonna be stock for ever ?
Am I missing something, so the headrest can't be back and forth, only up and down? dont see the point, can't rest my head of it

[/COLOR] Also the radio antenna will not go all the way down - about five inches stays up. Are the two problems related. Like others mentioned, I could eat off of the engine and the trunk still smells like a new car.
View 14 RepliesI just replaced the battery, and since then the electronic latch for the lift gate will no work. The only way I can get it opened is from the inside using the access hole and a screw driver. I have checked the fuse and it is good.

This is my 5th Super Duty with the last being a 2010. So you would think this would be a no brainer. I can pull on the handle and its not opening. Pry the damn thing open? Is there a hidden lock? I have an appointment at Lexus but this sounds like warranty stuff to me -- sudden death of rear hatch? Lexus informed me there is no manual way to open the trunk. Can I somehow manually open the trunk?
I just bought a (new to me) 2007 RX 350. Love the car. The only problem is that the previous owner had kids and he let them do whatever they wanted inside the car. I got the car detailed and cleaned but I noticed that the centre console doors towards the back don't open and close. When I press the open button it opens ever so slightly and when I press close I can feel that the spring is trying to close the door but nothing happens.
View 13 RepliesBought my 2004 Lexi RX330 in June 2014 with 96k (now has 105k - I drive a lot). It is beautiful and I love it! However, I am NOT in love with the sunroof that is currently stuck open. It's been making a weird noise upon opening (think bag of chips crackly) for the past few weeks. Yesterday was gorgeous weather in TX, so it was open most of the day. Come time to put her to bed, the sunroof would not close. Making a horrible grindy/clicky noise and closes about 4 inches then stops... then it starts to open again. Weird! There's nothing I can see in the tracks that is stopping it. The passenger side looks like it would close, but the drivers side looks like it is stuck. Tried to take the sunroof motor out, but there is a metal bracket in the way. Besides the fact, what to do with the motor once I had it out...
