Alright i have one here to stump everyone.... My uncle called me and his 05 f150 STX left speakers both front and back aren't working. I took a look at it the other day, i switched his radio with my radio from my 06 f150 stx, then I switched my front speaker out. Didn't work. I looked at his back speaker and the magnet on the speaker was stuck in the door. I checked fuses and don't see any blown.

My front speakers have stopped working. I thought it was the stereo itself (why would both speakers stop?) but I've replaced the head unit and still nothing. No buzz, nothing. Which leads me to think it's something else.

So I just replaced the stock head unit in my 2005 ford f150 with a brand new Sony one. Install went pretty smooth and I had every thing working pretty quick. So about an hour after the install I got in my truck to drive home and everything was working fine until about 5 minutes into driving all the door speakers just stopped working.
(Music was not blaring). Sub still works but that's it. No sound from the door speakers what so ever. I checked the fuse and the head unit. And all the fuses related to audio in the fuse box. Everything looks normal. Head unit powers on fine. Just no sound from any door speakers. The only thing that plays sound is the sub.

Installed Kenwood DDX7701HD unit and I have lost right side speakers. Used Metra Axxess TYTO-1 harness along with ASWC-1. Also had bad battery cell and replaced battery. I get plenty of sound from drivers area but when I adjust balance to right there is no sound at all there. At this point my ASWC-1 cycles through but isn't recognizing radio. That issue can wait unless it is part of this issue.

My iPhone 4s shifts from car (Lexus 350RX 2012) speaker to phone speaker and back constantly when I'm on a call. I have erased the pairing between the phone and the car and repaired it, I have also reset the phone to no avail. Lexus says my car firmware is up to date. It has to do with Bluetooth AVRCP 1.4 compatibility.

The whole right side speakers do not work on my 2006 gx470, its not the control screen it the speakers. I hear it could be the amp? Any info out there?

I get a new Radio from Crutchfield. I get all of the proper Adapters for the 2003 Passat. I follow all of the Wiring Diagrams and get all of the Colors Matched up. It was pretty Simple. No Modification of Existing Wiring.
All Connected, Power up, No Audio out of any Speaker. Frustrated I pulled all but one Speaker. Nothing, Hooked up a Different Speaker Nothing. I connected up the Factory Radio, same deal, no Sound from the Speakers. The other catch is that I just got the car back from a service where there was some under the hood tubes replaced. I had not tried the factory Radio since I got the car back from service. Seems odd that I could blow all the speakers and not know it.

The stock stereo doesn't use the full range of speakers unless I use XM or my ipod. I'd love to listen to the radio with the same range of sound. Is there a code fix from the dealer?
I'm embarrassed to admit that I've waited 5+ years to try and fix it.

My car speakers on my 1997 Ford Thunderbird are still the original speakers that came with car. I have changed the stereo twice so the current stereo is only four years old. I do not think that it sounds as good as it used to but I am not sure. I am thinking of new car speakers since it seems there are many affordable choices. I am wondering what differences I might notice if I change the four speakers out that are nineteen years old. Also what are some things that I should keep in mind when I look online at speaker sets?

I have a an issue with my 2010 Prius. I have factory JBL (no navi) system and for some reason, 2 of my speakers went out. What's funny is that my front driver side speaker is out but the passenger side works. The same thing in the rear. The one behind the driver seat is working but the one behind the passenger doesn't.

I am rocking an 09 Tiguan which unfortunately is out of warranty. Last night while listening to music my back two speakers quit working and still aren't working. I don't see how I could have blown them both at the same time, my volume was only at 16.

I have an '09 Corolla S with the non-JBL sound system, 6 disk in-dash changer and 6 speakers. I am getting no sound from the speakers except a small burst of static when I turn the ignition on and once in a while sporadic static. The Radio is still playing CD's, FM, Etc, but no sound. All fuses are good and the clock works. I disconnected the factory iPod interface and still nothing. I also tried a different aftermarket HU, but still no sound... I'm on the road all the time so I'm over 50,000k and there is no warranty left on the radio. I've also torn the dash out checking wires and connections and can't seem to find anything abnormal.

I was on my way home from work when my speakers suddenly stopped working. I tried changing stations and switching to CDs, but sound still refused to play. My head unit works perfectly fine. Every 5 minutes or so if the radio is left on, sound will come from the speakers on the right side of the car, but only for roughly 5 seconds before the sound disappears again. When this happens, the volume knob does not work and the sound cannot be turned down.
I have checked all three fuse boxes and nothing seems to be wrong. I have also checked behind the head unit and there are no problems as far as wiring is concerned. Is it possible that my amp just needs replaced, or is there something else that could have gone wrong?

Driver side rear seat speakers are not working. Are they on a fuse? Haven't had time to look over the owner's manual. If not fused what else could be happening?

I can find some references to unsatisfactory sound and whining noises in the speakers, but not dead ones. The wife called me the other day, annoyed, and said that the speakers stopped working in the Treg. It appears that it is the left side, both front and back. They came back on for a little while, but now have been "dead" for a couple days. There is an occasional "pop" from the left side, but that is all.

I have a 2008 Camry LE with the JBL system, the door speakers are blown and I can't find anything that meets the specs. They are 6x9 2 ohm, I'm not sure what the depth is, but I know it's less than most aftermarket speakers. I would probably also need an adapter to make it fit on the OEM mount.

So long story short. I have 2010 Prius package V, JBL. Recently 2 of front driver side speakers stop working(1 on dash,1 on door) only when I listen to radio and stream music from my iphone. I played with the L/R F/R balance and made sure about it. However when I got phone call and using navigation guidance voice it works no problem.

I just purchased a new to me 05.
PO, had a pioneer H/U installed, however the 4 rear speakers have no sound.
The rear of the radio seems to have everything plugged into it correctly.
My steering wheel controls work fine.
I'm guessing the rear volume/controller is canceling out the rear speakers???
If so what can I do to make the speakers play? I don't need the rear control to work.

I have a 1999 F-350 crew cab. I have a fusion active bass tube in the back, and my family went to Tahoe, so I took out all the bass tube but the wires had to be left in the truck. I thought I capped the wires but I guess I didn't or the cap came off. Anyways, I was plugging the wires back into the bass tube when I got home and there was a big spark, I think the ground wire and the wire connected to the battery touched. Now the radio does not work at all. I'm guessing I blew a fuse, I don't know how to fix it, or what fuse that would need to be replaced.

My 6x9 was blown and it made all my mid and low speakers cut off so I bought some aftermarket speakers and boom all my speakers cut back on except the subwoofer. Now I have a question do this mean I have a bad amp or sub or is it like a safety feature on the amp. I need to get around I have a 2007 LS460L with the mark lev system.
