Where I can get replacement interior panels? The covering on the column between the doors has been damaged by the seat belt buckle. I want to replace it. Where can I get a new or used one?
View 4 RepliesFor the first time I noticed a little glowing light[s] in my drivers seat belt buckle [female end....actually 2 lights, one on each side of the female part where the male end inserts]. It glows for about 10 seconds when starting up. Probably useful for connecting seat belt in the dark. What it does at night under normal driving conditions.
I did not see the same light on the passengers' side. Don't know if there is not one or it only works when there is weight in the seat.
Esoteric little item....but just wondering if there should be the same light on the passenger side and , if so, where /how to troubleshoot? Would it be a bulb or built in to the buckle? I did not check rear seat....I will do that next...
Having issue with seat belt buckle vibration, passenger side, when the vehicle speed is between 40-50 miles/hr ? It feels like an exhaust vibration transferred through the floor connection of the seat belt. How can I get rid of it ? The vibration feels like a cell phone set on vibrating and is very annoying for the passenger.

View 5 RepliesI'm not sure if this is an epidemic or not but I thought I remembered seeing some others with this issue: when driving alone, usually in cooler temps, the passenger seatbelt buckle near the console rattles like a mofo. I have seen some reports of people getting it fixed at their dealership, some managed to get it done under warranty with some effort. I'm considering trying to fight the dealership to do it under warranty when I go in for my 30k service, but wondering if it's something I could tackle at home. Hasn't been too bad since the weather warmed up so not even sure I could duplicate the issue for the dealer tech.
View 11 RepliesI just bought a 2015 Camry LE. The back seat belt buckles keep disappearing beneath the seat surface when you try to put your seat belt on. It's even more annoying when you have a child trying to buckle up in a booster seat. I went back to the dealer & they showed me several other 2015-2016's and they all do the same thing. Apparently, it's a Toyota design flaw & not an annoying quirk to my car. Any solution to keep the buckle above the seat?

The "buckle seat belt" symbol keeps popping up on the dashboard for the driver's seat even though the seat belt is certainly buckled. This happens off and on throughout a drive, but it does happen at least once every time the car is driven. Other than the constant dinging and the dashboard light, the seatbelt seems to be working properly.
We took it in to a mechanic and they said it is a switch in the seat belt assembly that is failing, but they don’t sell just the switch. They have to replace the whole assembly. They determined this by doing an electrical test in which they compared the resistance of the working passenger seatbelt to the non-working drivers seatbelt.
We are concerned that this is a problem that would cause the seatbelt to fail in the case of an accident. If we ignore this problem and just have them shut the seat belt warning sound OFF, are we in danger? Basically I just want to know how critical is this problem?
Airbag light came on the other day while out on an errand. Take it to work and pull the codes. I got a low voltage code and a driver seat belt buckle code "00059" maybe I'm trying to recall but unsure. I have a pair of seat belt buckles out of a mk5 Jetta. Do these will plug into my mk4 by chance?

View 10 RepliesI have a 2007 GS350 ML. Recently the CD player has no sound. It plays the cd and you can change tracks, yet no sound comes out. While the cd is playing, you don't have the ability to change the volume. Sound does come out on the radio and XM. When I play a MP3 CD sound does come out and i can change the volume. when i'm playing a cd and hit a small pothole or road marker sound comes back on. Don't know if it's a loose wire or something.
View 14 RepliesThe trunk is not functioning in my 2007 GS 350. The button in the cockpit is not opening it. The key fob will not open it, however, I do hear the beep when I hold down the release button. The latch under the trunk wont pop it open either.
THE ONLY WAY to open it is if I manually use the key. Meaning I have to pop the key out of the key fob and stick it in the hole and turn it. Its kind of embarrassing having to do this in such a nice luxurious car.
- I made sure that the button in the glove box is not the problem
- I checked the fuse beneath the driver side cockpit and it is good.
- I tried unplugging the battery/ resetting the computer.
Still no luck.
What part I will have to replace?
I have a 07 gs350 monday morning i woke up to go to work and the car started then shut right off i tried a second attempt and it cranked but died out i tried again and instead of turning on the radiator fan turns on high. I disconnect the battery after and plugged it back in to start and it still wont start only the radiator fan turns on high there also also s check vsc light on after all this no check engine light. My battery is brand new too...

My battery died to this guy try to give me a jump and he connected the jumper box the wrong way, we had a little spark and then we try to connect the jumper the rite way but car will not start. I replaced the battery with a new battery, no start. the horn works but the rest is dead.
I was trying to locate a main fuse but was not able to. Do these cars have a main fuse? What should i look for.
My 07 GS350 for the second time, gave me a low oil warning light. the car has 114k and had the cam TSB work done. The first time I had low oil was about 2,300 miles ago when my alternator started burning. Got that replaced along with a oil change,brakes, coolant flush and belt change (i know i know I got raped by the dealer). Last night driving to the gas station with car almost on E the low oil warning came on again..I always have them put 5W-30 synthetic but during my last oil change they put in 5w-20. I don't think that this would do anything however. Not due for an oil change. I spent about $1200 on the car in January to fix the previously mentioned issues. I love my GS and do not want to get rid of her.What are my options? What could be wrong?
View 12 RepliesGot in my GS the other day to go to work. Depressed the brake and push button start and car started like normal. Ran for 3 seconds or so and something on the dash flashed, maybe it said "system malfunction"? Car turned off and would not start. It was unexpected and happened so quickly. Car has worked fine since I've had it for 3 months or so. The brakes are now vacuum sealed and barely have any room to depress. The vehicle can only be locked/unlocked by hand and have to use the manual key to open the doors.
The door open light comes on the dash and the dome lights work. The key fob is not detected and does not work when I hold it up closely to the start button, like it is said to do when the car is immobilized. I just put a new battery in the key fob. That didn't work. I put a new car battery in the vehicle. That didn't work. I am not sure what to do anymore!!?? I spoke to the Lexus dealer on the phone and they sounded like it was either the key fob or the car battery. Checked those both out. Could it be the computer system? Maybe needs to be re-programmed? Something isn't triggering the ignition. The dash won't turn on or anything.
So I currently have a 2006 Lexus GS430 and was wondering if the 2007 model gs350 came equipped with streaming music through bluetooth?
View 14 RepliesI've got a used '07 gs350.. Unfortunately I bought it without doing any computer scanning to find out the faulty parts..
After I bought it I found the check vsc and check engin lights are on ! The car is skidding while I start accelerating, Nothing controls it!
I did the scanning and they told me there is an open circuit in the O2 sensor. That was right they welded the wires and the lights went off for about two days then they came back again!
I took it to them and they did the scan again. The codes are p0430 and p0420. I think they are related to catalytic converter.. They said it has leak in the EVAP system.
Does this has any deal with the Gad Cap ?! Is it really the issue is caused by the catalytic converter !!!
Last year I was driving and my low oil level warning came on for some odd reason. I say odd because I had just done an oil change a couple months prior. I filled it up to the correct level and everything was fine. A couple months later after doing my oil change the same thing happened again. I get the same warning and now feel there is an issue with my car. I called the dealership and they said they can do an oil consumption test. My car is a 07 GS350 AWD.
View 14 RepliesI have a 2007 gs 350 awd with about 98k miles. I recently started noticing this strange vibration whenever i stop at a red light. I would describe the vibration as a shiver of some type where the RPM kinda drops. After the vibration, I started noticing my car using a lot of force on the freeway and giving me very low mileage. I did some research and changed the motor mounts, and cleaned the throttle. This slightly fixed the vibration but cleaning the throttle fixed the low mileage/using extra force when driving at high speeds. but the vibration still seems to be a problem. Also, does the exhaust possibly have any role in the vibrations?
View 4 RepliesPicked up a 2007 Lexus GS350 last weekend. Immaculate condition inside and out with 60K miles. Silver on Black. I was originally looking at a G35S, but the second I sat in the GS I knew there was no comparison. So unfortunately, the previous owner of the vehicle didn't fix the rattles.
I've searched the forums, and there's obviously tons of threads on fixing the rattles. Specifically, I looked here: [URL] .....
However, I'm still confused as to where PRECISELY I stuff felt between the windshield and dashboard. Is it drivers side to passenger side or just a section of it. I'd rather not stuff felt in places where it's needed on my brand new GS and potentially cause other rattles. So couple of questions:
- From where to where do I stuff felt between the dashboard and windshield?
- What's the ventilation cowl squeak? How is that different between the instrument panel rattle, dashboard chirp and central console creak as referenced in this thread: [URL] .....
