Dealer did repair work on front bumper. Now, after reinstalling a new front bumper, I noticed water starting to form inside the fog light assembly after it has rained. Dealer says this is normal due to our tropical weather. This has never happened prior to the repair work that was done.

After removing my bumper cover and reinstalling it, my DRLs are dead. The harness is reconnected and the turn signals distress signals work.
I unplugged the left DRL, turn signal to see if the right would work and vice versa and I still cannot get either to come on.
I checked the fuse and that isn't popped.
I turned the car to the DRL marker mode and auto mode and everything works except the DRLs.
I even took the bumper cover off again and inspected the harness.
So I've seen a lot of people on here wrapping the mid section of the front bumper black to give it a more aggressive look.
For those that have done this, will I need to cut a hole for the sensors or will the sensors still work with the wrap covering them?
I have a '13 Prius III, and had to replace both tail light assemblies for moisture. They both developed the moisture several hours after washing it. It was covered under warranty of course, but seems odd that both would develop the moisture at the same time. The assemblies would be quite expensive to replace out of warranty.

View 14 RepliesThe other day I got yellow check lights warning on the MFI, so I went out and looked at all of my lights and then the inside lights but everything was fine. On the second time I got the warning, I found out that my front right fog light housing had quite a bit of moisture inside but all the lights still worked fine including that fog light.
I took it to the dealer and the tech tells me it is normal. He added that any of the front lights could get moisture inside but after a half hour on, the moisture should go away.
I never got the warning since.But the moisture still appears and never completly goes away and that fog light is the only one out of all the lights that get's moisture inside. I know about the TSB for the top light housing with moisture, but this is the fog light and only that specific one. I have never had any other housing with a single bubble of moisture!!Is this normal?
I have my 13 GS with the left headlight moisture build up, I should had taken a picture of it before I took it to the dealer, so I dropped it off at Glendale Lexus and they saw it, so now they are telling me because I changed the bumper so the headlight leaked water in it, so to prove them wrong I had pictures taken when the bumper was changed and it was 2 years ago, so I took the pictures to the dealer and showed them when the bumper was changed and also up to date pictures with still no leaks in the headlight, and when you change the bumper cover you do not have to remove the headlights and now they say the car was in a accident, so I told them if it was why is everything original fenders and with Vin numbers on it and why should I bring it to you.

I came back out the next morning to find a large puddle of water in the garage and the car still dripping. The drip is from the PS front bumper area just ahead of the front PS wheel. This is not the typical AC water puddle; we have two Prius so I am familiar with that one. I searched here and found a few threads on water pump issue but the description did not quite match what I have going on.
View 7 RepliesThe front bumper keeps detaching from the clips on the side. Toyota has attempted to fix it 3 times with no success. The clips are not broken or cracked. The clips are the same on late 2012 Camry.
View 3 RepliesWondered if others have had a problem with spots of paint peeling off front bumper? Bought car new and have 42,000 miles, rest of paint is in great shape. It is not terrible, but like keeping car nice, would be nice if covered under warranty. Been this way for awhile, maybe should have taken it in, haven't even mentioned it to Hyundai.
View 5 RepliesI want to replace the front and rear dome lights with LED's. I removed the rear plastic cover but can not remove the bulb. The only thing I can grab is the glass bulb and pulled but it will not release. I see a very small black tab at the base of the bulb and tried pushing it in, to the left and right but won't budge.
View 9 RepliesOdd thing is now that the iPhone app updated, whenever I lock/unlock my car via the app the front and rear parking lights flash (DRL and tail lights), once when locking and twice when unlocking. That's never happened before. The doors would just lock/unlock with no lights. Found that a bit weird considering all that was changed was the app software, unless an update was pushed to the module in the car and I didn't know. Not really a concern but odd nonetheless...
View 2 RepliesMy front passenger headlight seems to go out after starting and driving for a little. I just replaced the bulbs a few weeks ago and it just happened again. I did notice that the one headlight does flicker after turning on. After looking at the headlight it does appear that some moisture had gotten inside the housing. I don't want to take apart the headlight and reseal it and still have the same problem. Does the ballest need to be replaced also or does something have to be cleaned?

I was hoping there were instructions on how to remove the 2010 RX350 front bumper cover somewhere? We had a little fender-bender, and I was planning on trying to replace some of the items myself. I'm handy, but always prefer instructions over trial/error!
View 6 RepliesI bought the car from dealer, there are now FOUR! holes on the front bumper. I don't understand why they couldn't just use the existing holes to put the license plate holder. Now I'm stuck with these holes and I'm looking for a cheap alternative to fill them. I like the clean look of the front end without the plates and don't want to spend a fortune at a body shop, but I also don't want 4 dots either. What I can do/use?
View 3 RepliesI have a 2013 Lexus ES350 and the left edge of the rear bumper keep pops open during the hot summer days. The first time I saw this gap between my bumper and the frame I thought someone has hit my car's bumper. After close inspection, the bumper is smooth as butter just like the first day I brought the car home. I took the car last Saturday to a Lexus dealer for an inspection. The service guy told me there is nothing he can do and maybe bring the car back on a weekday so their diagnostic guy can take a look.
