Just bought a CPO 2013 ES300h... when I lock the door using the remote the lights DO NOT FLASH. All other cars I've used have had this feature providing you feedback the car is locked. Is this normal?

View 1 RepliesI can't find an explanation for this but I dropped the car off to have windows tinted.
This AM I picked the car up and when I press the lock button, the doors DO lock but there is no longer a chime and the lights dont flash.
I've gone into settings and made sure that that setting is turned on and it appears fine but it still doesn't work like it did yesterday.
FWIW - the chime does sound for UNLOCK, just not lock.
When lock button on the remote is pressed twice and held for 3rd time , lights flash but car won't start. I just put fresh battery in remote Haven't used remote start since last winter..
View 1 RepliesMy car today suddenly will not "beep", nor will the lights flash, when I double-click to lock with the smart key. The smart key itself is fine, as it locks and unlocks properly. I know many people find the beep a nuisance, but I like it.
I just had my windshield replaced two days ago. Could this be the cause? Is it something I can fix myself, or will I need to take it into the shop? I'm hoping I can just quickly re-connect something that became unconnected during windshield replacement.
I have a 2002 (First Generation) and can not lock the doors with the remote. It will unlock with the remote (lights flash) but will not lock. I have checked ALL the doors and they are closed, not ajar. Assoc. battery is at 12.77 volts. I have tried another remote, same one that came with the car and that one will not unlock it either. Remote batteries are OK. When I try to unlock the car with the Remote, the lights don't flash and it tries to lock but then it unlocks--just like a door ajar????
View 4 RepliesSanta fe 2004 - When locking the car with RC, lights did not flash. Cause was hazard light fuse. To verify this, activate the hazard lights, if they do not work at all, check the hazard light fuse. When I replaced the fuse all issues were resolved.
View 1 RepliesMy girlfriend has a 2014 Santa Fe Sport, and she usually leaves the headlights "on" because they turn off shortly after she locks her car or whatnot. For some reason, they don't ALWAYS turn off. Probably 30% of the time they stay on. Well, it was super cold this weekend and he car wouldn't start remotely, so we took mine instead. But lo and behold, her battery is completely dead.
Is there something that would cause these to stay on only sometimes? She's going to start turning on and off, but the intermittent part seems odd to me.
I disconnected the battery to clean the terminals and now the lights won't flash when I lock the doors with the remote. I guess I lost the programming, how do I change it back? I have a 2007 Sonata.
View 5 RepliesI own a 2004 Chevy Malibu Maxx LT and up until recently the remote start worked great. However starting last week when I go to use it all I get is a quick flash of the brake lights and it wont start. The only thing that happened last week was I had the hood up to check the oil.

The map lights do not come on when the remote is activated or either front door is opened or closed. the owners manual says it is an option that can be programmed at the dealership. when I took her car in for its first 5,000 mile check up the service advisor said both he and the technician tried to do it and looked it up to see where it would show them how but they were not successful. Is this something the dealer can program in?

View 2 RepliesI turned on the climate control this morning when I started the car and tried to change the temperature, then for some reason until the car was warmed up the climate control went to lo and seemed like it was locked there.
Once I the car got warmed up, the climate control worked was normal. It seemed like the increase/decrease controls were locked.
I have a '13 GS with the Luxury Package that has the rear seat climate & radio controls. I'm not sure if there is an issue or if the system is locked....Of the rear controls everything related to audio portion works correctly...Now if I try to turn on the heated seats, or change the temperature, or blower speed none of those work as they should.
View 10 RepliesMine is a 2015 ES350. I drove it normally on last Friday. Today Monday morning, the car can't be started. Other symptoms are no any lights, stiff brake, shift locked in parking position, no clank with a jump starter.
The battery connection is tight; I also tried both keys and holding it right next to the start button. It seems like the car system is shut down.
I may call AAA to tow to dealer. However, the shift is in parking mode. Is there any way I can override the shift to N?
My garage is dark until I get in the car and push the button to open the garage door. I of course don't lock the car when it's in my own garage, so can the puddle lights be set to come on whether the car is locked or unlocked?
View 7 RepliesFor 2015 we had the ability to use our key fob to start our cars. I did this nearly everyday, doing the 1 press pause 2 press pause 3 press and hold.. this used to work, suddenly it no longer works.
Since this featured was not even featured in our manuals, I doubt I'd find a solution there. Did Lexus zap my car and ability to start it, remote app from phone works fine.
My trunk no longer unlock when I press on my remote, on the button inside the car or the button on the trunk. I have to open it with the key. My doors still works fine. What the problem could be?
View 4 RepliesI was driving along today and my dash lit up light a Christmas tree. I got PCS, ABS, Brake and BSM lights and I was locked out of first gear in manual mode. Other than the lights and having to driving in auto mode, the car drove fine. When I got home I inspected the rear suspension and saw that the driver's side speed sensor's rubber shielding where it attaches to control arm was damaged. It was not completely severed, but there was a hole and some exposed copper wiring. I had SPC rear control arms and RSR coilovers installed and the car was lowered about 1.3 inches in rear. I was able to use extra copper wire and electrical tape to temporarily fix the problem. After all the wires where connected and shielded with electrical tape, I got zero lights when I started the car.
I'm not sure how it happened. Maybe the wire was damaged during install or it was pinched due to car being lowered. Whatever the case, make sure the wire is secured in a way to avoid being pinched during suspension travel. I ordered the new wire and will attempt to replace. Looks pretty straight forward except the wire goes into the interior of the car somewhere. I read that I will have to remove rear seats. If so, that should be pretty easy. Is there something I'm missing? Will any of the rear interior need to be removed? How to do this?
Why my alarm is not chirping anymore when you lock the door with remote. Can hear the doors lock but no chirp. When you disarm, two chirps and the doors unlock. How to get back to Chirping? Put brand new batteries in both key alarm set and cleaned. Has not worked
