IHeart Radio has stopped working. Getting a connectivity error. Pandora works great.
Verizon Samsung S5 and a 2014 ES 300h. Phone has Android 4.4.4 with the latest Lexus Enform app. I've deleted and repaired the bluetooth connection and reloaded the Lexus app on my phone.
Also, bluetooth will randomly disconnect when making calls occasionally.
Living an hour away from the dealership I decided to visit a local shop for an oil change. After the oil change, none of my cell phones would connect to the car. I have never had any issue with Bluetooth connectivity and find it suspect that after the oil change these issues arise. I suspect that someone was trying to reset a service indicator and did something else. How this can be fixed?

View 7 RepliesI pulled it out last week to fix my aftermarket reverse monitor, so when i pulled the console i tested the light make sure i didn't screwed up anything. Then it was turned on for 2 seconds and slowly died. Since then, none of the button work !!! no sunroof, no homelink, nothing.
I've checked fuse already, 27, 35, 36 I believe. i replaced them all, still not working.
Which way can I go here for a spare key fob that no longer works? Will I have to buy a brand new one or can I just replace the battery inside?

I can't find any reference to this in the manuals. If not available is there and aftermarket cure for this. I would like to add Bluetooth and satellite.
View 5 RepliesFor 2015 we had the ability to use our key fob to start our cars. I did this nearly everyday, doing the 1 press pause 2 press pause 3 press and hold.. this used to work, suddenly it no longer works.
Since this featured was not even featured in our manuals, I doubt I'd find a solution there. Did Lexus zap my car and ability to start it, remote app from phone works fine.
My trunk no longer unlock when I press on my remote, on the button inside the car or the button on the trunk. I have to open it with the key. My doors still works fine. What the problem could be?

View 5 RepliesI had my car serviced a few weeks ago and realized that one of my Smart Keys (the one I was using when I drove to the dealership) no longer works with the car. It won't unlock the doors or start the car (neither wirelessly nor when plugged in to the dash). The other fob works fine. Are there any scenarios where a Smart Key fob gets rejected from the system?
View 5 RepliesThe DC Power/cigarette lighter no longer works. When I plug in a phone charger it lights up for a split second then goes out. This leads me to believe it is not a fuse because I don't think it would get any power at all...but I'm not sure and I don't even know where to look for the fuse to check it.
View 3 RepliesMy speedometer no longer works. A mechanic had the dash out but said I would need a new instrument cluster. However, as I told him, it started failing whenever it rained. Once the car dried out, the speedometer would work again. For awhile anyway but now it's not working at all. I'm thinking there's a sending unit maybe on the transmission that's faulty?

This only happens for the driver seat, passenger seat works fine. Why this might be?
So tonight I was parking the car next to the wall in front of my garage like always and an orange error light came on to check BSM system what is that? Although, I turned the car off and on it stayed on I took it for a drive down the street and it went away now every time I turn the car on its not there anymore. Is there a malfunction with the computer or something? Car has less than 5k miles ..

What powers the light, is there a specific part of the cylinder I need to check or replace or do I have to replace the whole cylinder. Would a another cylinder I pick up from the junk yard work?

View 17 RepliesIt happened almost a week ago and had plenty of time to dry out. I heard that the keys will usually come back to life but unfortunately mine did not. Tried changing the battery too. No luck. The key still works in the door. It's an annoyance not being able to open the trunk or lock/open all doors remotely.
Are there any alternative ways to do this cheaper that I'm overlooking? There are wireless keys on ebay that can be bought. But is there a way to get them programmed other than going to the VW dealer and getting fleeced?
I have a 2002 Ford explorer sport. The liftgate handle no longer works. I took the rear panel off thinking it was one of the rods' clips were broken off. As it turns out it is the little pivoting bolt that attaches to the handle. It wasn't broken, but just disconnected from the handle. I reconnected it and it worked for about 6 or 7 opens and then it popped out of the handle again. I reconnected it and this time it only stayed in for 2 opens. What do I do here? Is there a way to buy that little yellow clip that connects the pivot bolt to the handle? Do I have to get this from a dealer or can I get it from an autoparts store? Or, can I just fix it somehow and not have to buy anything? Also, what is it called so I can describe it without a 30 minute story and sounding like a layman?
View 1 RepliesSo with all of the snow we've been having in the north east this is usually an error message I get almost every week. Normally this is due to the front sonar sensors being covered in ice or snow and will go away once it melts when I'm parked in the garage or is washed off.
However the past few days, I've had the car washed a few times to make sure the salt is off of the sonar on the front bumper but I'm still getting the error message stating to check the front sonar. If I leave the park assist on it works for the sides but not the front and the error message still stays on the screen. I've hand-washed the sonar sensors several times and 'massaged' them in place to maybe break up some ice behind the bumper or get the sensor to work but I've gotten nothing. Upon further inspection, one of the sensors has a deep scratch in it to where you can see past the paint of the car slightly.
I'm really not looking forward to taking the car to the dealer to have them look at the sensor because they will most likely charge me a ton. I saw a few other posts on the forums about the LS400 from '99-'00 having a similar issue and it cost them $550 to get it fixed. Obviously it's not the same car but I'm expecting a similar quote. I'm assuming the paint scratch is what is causing the issue as another post for the LS mentioned the same thing and said they had to scratch all the paint off of the sensor to make it work again.
