Lexus ES 2013+ :: E-Brake / ABS And Low Tire Pressure Sign Won't Disappear
Sep 11, 2014
Just leased a brand new 2014 ES350 this Monday... and issues already..... On Tuesday, when i started my car, the e-brake light was on even if the e-brake was off. So restarted the car and the sign disappear..
Yesterday, same issue but with additional ABS sign and Low Tire Pressure sign.. Same solution by restarting car worked.
Ok so today.. Same issue as yesterday but the solution wont work.. the signs won't disappear..
Car doesn't seem to have any problems when running but i am scared something is wrong with the car.. not sure if it's just the sensor..why this is happening?

Any way I can set up the tire pressure warning to come on at 27psi or so? I want to set the tires at 30psi for a more comfy ride and not have the warning light on. Don't care about mileage. Want the cushy Lexus ride.

Do any of you get a low tire pressure warning light even though all the tire pressure show as being fine?
Annoying that warning light comes on and it high lights tire pressure in yellow even though the tire it high lights actually has more psi than some of the other tires.

How to access the reset switch. Both the quick guide and the owner's manual show clearly where it is ... but I can't find it. I've looked under the dash in that area, flashlight and all, zip, nothing.

The ES350 2013 owner's manual says you need to reset the tire pressure switch when rotating/changing tires. The picture in the ES 2013 owners manual (P696) shows the reset switch near the lower left side of the steering wheel. Well you really have to look as it it under the dash next to the computer connector the tech's use to trouble the car. You really have to get down and look under the dash to find the switch.

It's been harsh winter in NYC. Yesterday evening I parked my ES300H with right side wheels submerged in the icy puddle, meaning the water reached almost to the bottom of the brake rotors. Today I noticed that the rear back wheel looks flat. I check the wheel pressure in the dashboard, and I get 33psi on all wheels but 13psi on that flat one. I have no clue why the pressure drop didn't happen to the front right wheel. I pumped that flat tire and drove over 20 miles that day, no tire pressure drop.
So, the moral: Don't park/submerge your wheels in ice cold puddles.

I bought a 2005 RX330 a couple months ago. It now has 48,500 miles. The following happened 3 times while driving:
The ABS, Brake, and VSC lights come on solid and the Low Tire Pressure light blinks. Things go back to normal after I turn the engine off and start it again.
Dealer wants to see it first before they do anything about it. Problem is that every time it happened the dealer was closed. I live about an hour away and I’m not even sure I want to drive for one hour while these lights are on.
Reading some postings it seems like this was a known issue with the 2004 models (brake light switch). Same problem with a 2005 model?

Another 5k miles and the maintenance required light has come on. The 300h wants its tires rotated. I don't want to take it into the dealer just for that. Which tire goes where in a Lexus rotation? Also how to make sure the tire monitoring system knows the tire location has changed? I can move the tires around myself but don't know how to reset the tire monitoring system to the new tire location.

Message popped up on my dash board just now. What tire pressure do the Kumho's which came with it take?

So here in the Northeast, we are under a deep freeze. This morning I came out (4 degrees) and my "warning low tire pressure" light was on. I got out and the tires looked fine. I have no gage. I stopped and put a little air in anyway and still was on. I also was having new tires put on today and I picked the car up and thel ight is still on. I drove away from Mavis without realizing this. But, the tires are all inflated and I am sure they inflated to factory specs. Maybe the TPMS needs to be reset? Is there a way to reset the light? I didn't see it in the manual on how to do it.

At what low pressure the tire low symbol will turn on? This morning was coldest day of year and it would not go off. Any way to look at each sensor's reading? Car is a 2013 Accent SE.

Just bought a L/Certified pre-owned 2013 ES 350. I am shocked at how much the car vibrates and noise increases when stopped at a light or stop sign. I tried a 2015 ES 350 and the same thing occurs!! The dealership technician says everything is operating "to specification". This is a disgrace for such a high-tech, luxury car.

So this morning heading to work the low tire pressure notification popped up. I filled my tires with air afterwards, but the light and notification are still present. Would that reset on it's own, or do I have to do something along the lines of when resetting the oil maintenance message thru the speedometer settings?

just noticed a discrepancy between the door sticker and TPMS readings; 36PSI for the door sticker and 47PSI on the TPMS. A long story short, measured with a gauge and the TPMS readings are accurate sent a message to my dealer because I took delivery of the car 10 days ago, no answer. I understand those tires are filled with Nitrogen, are the original values (47PSI) a requirement for Nitrogen or should I deflate those tires to door stickers values ?

The tire pressure light just came on in a 5 year old tire that I decided to put on the ES350.
The two front tires are 36 lbs, two rear were 32, I adjusted them all to be around 32 and the light is still on, including the spare tire in the trunk.
I decided to put this tire on because it has much better tread than the last. Regardless, I don't know why the light is on.
