I added air to my tires today and wanted to reset the TPMS, the manual stated that the button to hold for a few seconds is located on the lower Left side of the dash below the fuel door release button area. I searched far and wide and am unable to find any button?
Where this button is or how to reset the system.
2010 Camry 4 cylinder XLE. Manual, page 385, shows reset button at glove compartment. It is not there. I'm guessing it's under the dash somewhere, where only a contortionist can see or get to it.

View 14 RepliesThe ES350 2013 owner's manual says you need to reset the tire pressure switch when rotating/changing tires. The picture in the ES 2013 owners manual (P696) shows the reset switch near the lower left side of the steering wheel. Well you really have to look as it it under the dash next to the computer connector the tech's use to trouble the car. You really have to get down and look under the dash to find the switch.

View 7 RepliesI have ES 350 2016 with navigation. When you start a car, the screen always defaults to navigation mode. You must press HOME button to get home screen. Is there any way to change the default, so it always starts with the home screen ?
View 14 RepliesI have a new 2016 ES350 and I hear a strange electric motor type sound coming from the LT rear wheel /wheel well area when the car is off (was parked outside and was turned off 5 hours before I noticed the noise). I couldn't figure out what was making the noise, it lasted about 3 minutes after I noticed it before it stopped.

I want to do a burnout or powerslide around a turn. With winter approaching I just want to be able to disable the traction system in case I get stuck.
I remember seeing a TRAC off button somewhere but I can't find it.

These wheels have sensors that were registered at the dealer when purchased ... Do I have reset the system by deflating to the trigger point or should the computer remember the data from last fall when I took them off?
View 16 RepliesMy 2011 ES350 has 43,000 miles and runs great. I took it to Firestone today for tire rotation, full synthetic oil change and I let the guy talk me into adding fuel injector cleaning.
When I got the car back, I noticed the Auto Climate Control button wasn't working properly. If I press it on, I can't press it off. The green light stays on. If I turn off the fan, the Auto button goes off. I am positive the button worked before the service.
What could have happened that would cause this? I know the service guy had to press some buttons to turn off the "oil change required" message. Could he have messed something up in the process?
2009 ES350. Yesterday, I came back from work to see that our garage door was left open all day then in the middle of the night, I saw that it was opened again. Luckily, nothing was taken from our garage. When I checked the homelink button, it was jammed in (stuck) which most likely is causing this. When I tested the button, it keeps getting stuck.

I noticed that when pressing the mode button on the steering wheel, the radio toggles from AM, FM1, FM2, and Bluetooth, but completely skips satellite radio. The satellite radio is active and I set presets for all the stations. I can access the satellite radio stations fine when pressing the button on the dash or on the touch screen but the mode button on the steering wheel completely skips the satellite selection.

With the map on the screen and the Sat audio playing, switch from the map to the SAT screen to make selections.
Pressing "Media" on the dash always defaults to "BT Audio". Then I have to joystick it back to SAT.
Same would be true if I were in the map and wanted to return to the FM screen .
And of course I have tried MENU next to the joystick but that's a multi step process to get back to the desired audio screen.
Talked to Rho-plate, they state they have no plans on making one...alternatives? My car also has Park Assist too, does count me out on the Tow Hook method?
View 2 RepliesJust a little PSA, if your TPMS light shows up, and all the tires (including the spare) are at the proper psi, check the button below the glove box. As long as the warning light is solid, its likely someone pushed the button. I almost paid $120 in diagnostic fee and $150 for a new sensor at the dealer because for some reason, no one knew about this button, or didn't want to tell me.
