The XM radio in 2008 ES 350 not working. No problem with AM and FM. Dealer says receiver LE 86180-0W032 must be replaced. The dealer said that it was located in the trunk. Where in the trunk is it located and how can I get to it.

View 9 RepliesChecked the fuses under dash and under hood. Fuses look fine. The only things that don't power are Radio, Clock and side mirrors.
Everything else is fine. Recently changed battery BUT after new battery everything worked solid for days.
Recently got a transponder key made because old key broke.
If fuses are fine i'm not sure what else it could be.
On our 2007 turbo diesel auto santa fe the audio controls first and now the cruise has stopped. Had problems turning cruise on would have to press buttons 3 / 4 times to work now nothing.

View 5 RepliesI just returned after leaving LS 460 in garage for 5 months. Car & a/c start up fine but after 5 minutes of driving the a/c shuts down & can not be re-started until I shut off the engine. I re-start the car and again after about 5 minutes, the a/c shuts down. All a/c panel lights are off except "outside temperature". In the dashboard console where the outside temperature is normally displayed there is an "E" displayed instead. The coolant fluid level is fine.
View 7 RepliesThe battery in my LX died, as a result my radio stopped working and my seat heater lights were flashing.
After replacing the battery radio is all good. Passenger side seat heater and ventilator no longer turns on (going to check the fuses tonight).
But the driver's side is very peculiar. At first it was working as expected then all of a sudden the light started flashing but the cooling / heating still works. Even with the system off those the lights flash and sometimes there is heat when the system is off.
This doesn't seem like a fuse issue in this case, seems like a relay.
I have 2009ls AWD. If I have my radio on, and the GPS announces turning directions, both the radio and the GPS audio are on. This can be very confusing, and dangerous. Is this normal? Is there a fix?

Experienced the radio turning on and off for no reason. It does not matter what mode it is on the radio will shut off completely and turn back on a few seconds later. What is the cause and what was done to solve the problem. Btw it is not a Mark Levinson.

Went to Car Toys and manager who was shorthanded suggested he try resetting the radio, but out how to reset it, it that is possible.
View 4 RepliesI started having an issue with my lexus ls460 2007, the radio works good, but sometimes the sound doesn't come out, in other words even on max volume I can hear almost anything, a clicking sound comes out with this problem, the thing is (hands free) works perfect, navi guidance works amazing, except all radio sounds including AUX gives out lil sound which I can't hear.
View 6 RepliesI have a 2007 bottle fed EX 350. I am installing XM into it. SAT/AM button scrolls thru SAT 1 2 3. Display sometimes shows 184 or 255. Occasionally is says Radio Err, It has displayed "radio id" with nothing else, And I managed to get it to display a cryptic looking F W1 4 30 .

Today as I was driving on the freeway my radio randomly shut down and turned back on. it was a complete power down as if I was turning the car on. I believe I seen the dash also do a system check. I also think I felt the power steering turn on and off for a split second. very odd. I almost feel the entire car shut down for a split second.
View 14 RepliesI recently came across a problem that is not a big deal but enough to irritate me. When I engage the parking brake it will shut the radio off. I cant see to see how the two systems are related to one another. I don't have the brake light lit on my dash indicating anything is wrong with my brakes. I have tried to reset the navigation system a few number of times but the problem is still there.

A month ago while waiting to pick up my daughter, I had the radio on for a few minutes while the engine was off. Car would not start while all the electrical worked so had to get a jump. I tested again yesterday by leaving the radio on and the battery dies. Get another jump and start, car starts and runs fine as long as I don't do anything with the engine off.
Volt meter reads the battery at 12.9 when the engine is off. Jumps up another 2.1 when I start the engine meaning alternator is fine too. Just in case, I bought a new battery but have yet to replace it. Voltage on a new battery reads at 12.64 which is even lower than the old one!
Should I still go ahead and replace it?
So I was driving to work this morning and when I'm stopped at a red light my car idled from 800 rpm all the way down to 400 rpm. It literally felt like the car was going to shut off on me.

View 5 RepliesI get a very annoying high pitched electronic whine on an AM radio station that I like. It occurs all the time. Its like a grounding problem. It is so bad I can't listen to the station in my 2009 LS. Only one station, AM 810, has the issue. I don't have ML. Just a regular radio. No other radio issues.
