View 2 Replies2007 LS 460. I have done a search on here and it seems like it should be easy but I am getting a message "lacks object push profile OBEX OPP" ? I am using the Bluetooth file transfer program.
View 14 RepliesI was wondering how do you add your phone contacts to the Bluetooth because I can't seem to figure out how to do it so when I want to call somebody I have to pick up my phone and find the contact. I just need a step by step process remember my 09 ES isn't equipped with Nav.

I just purchased a T-Mobile my touch 4g phone. I set up the bluetooth okay, but am unable to transfer the contacts. I keep getting 'unable to transfer.
I just got the Droid X and it paired easily with my 2010 prius and I can play my music folders over the blue tooth connection in the audio/nav. system. But, it will not transfer my phone contacts.
It will go through the motions like its going to happen and then I see the words attempt failed.
I just bought 2012 Prius Model 4 with the solar package and upgraded Nav. Love the car. I have a problem with the contacts in the phonebook. My iPhone has over 2000 contacts from work. Can't and don't want to load them all. I can't figure out how to load or create a contact without using my bluetooth phone.
View 1 RepliesI just bought my first Lexus. It is a 2009 ES350 with navigation. I can use the hands free with no problem and even picks up SIRI but when I tried transferring my contacts from my iphone4s to the phone book it loses connection every time. Same thing when I try to stream music.
View 1 RepliesI have a new 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited with the factory navigation system installed.
The car recognized my iPhone 4 and connected with no problems. The manual says that the contact list uploads from the phone to the car automatically. My contact list did upload to the car automatically, but about 20% of the contacts did not transfer. I tried it several times with the same results.
iPhone--can it transfer the phone contacts into the 470 contact list? Ive clicked on the transfer and says waiting for transfer--but I cannot get the phone to send them.
View 14 RepliesI have an iPhone 5 and trying to transfer phone book to 2007 Lexus GX 470. I was able to do it in the past with my old phone with a Android Platform but can't do it with an iPhone.
View 3 Replieshow to delete an existing Bluetooth phone from memory in my '13 350. I want to add a new one. I see how to ADD one but not delete.
View 8 RepliesI have had the same android cell phone for over 3 years and have had my 13 GS350 for the same with no problems before..
In the last month whenever I get into my car the Bluetooth in my car does not recognize my phone. I have to turn off my Bluetooth from my phone and turn it back on. No problem then for the rest of the day. Everything works ok until the next morning.
Is the problem with my phone or with my car?
I have a customer who is experiencing some difficulty with his bluetooth. The car is a 2013 ES350 and the phone is a Droid phone with Verizon service.
Customer is claiming that the phone keeps disconnecting and reconnecting from bluetooth on its own, sometimes several times per commute and sometimes to the point where he has to reconnect himself.
Why the connection would be interrupted like this?
What in the world is going on, out of no where since this sunday its going in and out. It says phone disconnected then gets back on but after a few minutes.......... 6 months with this car and no problems with bluetooth. This is a big one for me because I listen my music and on cell a lot...
View 10 RepliesI have a 2007 RX 350. I just recently started using bluetooth. It was working well and then all of a sudden I have an issue after a call. I hang up my phone, but the screen still shows that it is talking; although, no call is being made. I have to stop and start car to get it to clear, so I can start again. However, it will only work once and then it still won't hang up.
View 12 RepliesI just got a 2014 ES350 and love it, however, I have one issue I can't seem to figure out and I have to assume their is an easy fix. When I use my phone (bluetooth via car) and I'm using the navigation system, the voice still give me directions while I'm on the phone. 1) it's distracting for me to have a conversation the same time the navigation is talking 2) the person on the phone hears it as well. Is their a way to set up so that the voice automatically mutes while I'm on the phone?
View 14 RepliesI just picked up a 2006 GS300 AWD and wanted to setup my phone to stream Google Play Music through the bluetooth to the head unit... Is this possible? Or am I going to have to hack into the back wires like I did with my ES300 in order to setup an AUX line and connect a bluetooth adapter?
View 7 RepliesI've had so many issues with audio dropping out from phone calls and streaming that I've almost thrown my phone at the NAV screen in frustration.
Background: In the 7 months since I bought my car new (2013 GS F-Sport) I have had 2 Droid Maxx's, 1 Droid Turbo and am currently on a Samsung Note 4. I've gone through hard resets of my phones, deleting the phone from the car, changing apps in use, trying to use the car with after a reset and removing most stock apps. I've also mostly disabled the text message and email options as it doesn't work consistently, and I don't need people in my car to see when I get texts.
Each of the phones has has issues staying connected to the car. About 30 seconds after dropping the car will register the loss of the bluetooth connection. The worst part is I can go hours without a problem, then I'll get 1, or I'll get a problem every 4 minutes until it suddenly stops.
I've called Lexus a three times are had a few different answers. At first they told me to always drive with the wifi disabled and that should fix my problem. Then they said to have the dealership check my firmware. The dealership said my firmware dated 2012 is the most up to date (sounds like a load of BS to me). Most recently, they said there is an error in Android 4.2's kernel that screws up bluetooth. Now all of my phones have been on Android 4.4.x since I bought the car, and Lexus said they aren't aware of any issues with 4.3 or 4.4.
My coworker follows the same phone upgrade path as me (Maxx, Turbo and Note4), and he has never had a dropout issue on his 2014 X5, so the kernel issue doesn't seem to hold water.
Lexus made it sound like this is a WIDE spread problem, but not one they need to fix. Also what firmware version are you running in your 2013 GS?
I'm wondering how I can disable the navigation voice while on a Bluetooth phone call? It's slightly annoying & confusing when the other end-caller can hear my navigation.
View 2 Replies I've been driving Lexus since 1995. My new GS is a 2008 model (with a President pack according to local French definition). I use windows phones (Lumia series) and I can easily connect these phones for conversations while driving over BT. But when I try to transfer my contact data to the car, the BT connection fails and when I stop this transfer, the BT connection comes alive again.
I only have/use windows phone (windows 10 and windows 8.1). any hint where I could look to to solve this problem ?
another question related to this : can I stream audio from my phone to the Mark Levinson system via BT ? apparently it does not work with my windows phones .
I all of a sudden starting having problem with my Bluetooth connection. I have an iPhone 6s (since September). It has latest operating system.
Now whenever I receive a text or notification on my phone it connects the Bluetooth. It shouldn't at all with app notifications. It then does release the connection.
Nav screen says call in progress. Hanging up phone from steering wheel does nothing. I must turn off Bluetooth on phone to release "the call" and listen to the radio.
