I have researched everywhere and asked the Dealer and still cannot find out how to turn off the AC and get outside air only when it is cool out.
Even if I turn the air off, if I don't adjust the temperature to match the outside I get either heat or air coming out of the vents. It is very frustrating to be required to adjust the temperature constantly.
From everything I have found, several have gone through the issue of hearing a clicking noise when driving or braking and has been diagnosed as a faulty brake actuator. I do not hear any clicking while driving or braking. However, when I turn off the car and get out, I hear a clicking noise coming from the front end of the car. I understand that as a car cools you can hear noises coming from the engine area, but this is a very distinct click that always holds the same tone (if that makes any sense). Am I just over-thinking the basic cool down process?

View 3 RepliesI'm wondering if it's possible to turn on the foglights without the headlights on the 2013+ LS460. I understand it's not possible without modification on 2007 - 2012 models, but I'm wondering if anything's changed.
Ideally, I would want to run the foglights as "daytime running lights", preferably without modifications.
How do the vanity lights turn on? I thought they would turn on when you open the mirror but it didn't.
Is it possibly both bulbs are blown? What fuse to check?
Im having problems with my lights not turning off in the evening hours after the lights have been on and I have just turned the car off. I have waited for long period of time and sometimes have to go inside the car and manually turn them off. Has this been a problem?

View 2 RepliesI have a 2007 and I've just developed my first problem since I purchased the car new in 2007. While driving, my headlight(s) will turn off by themselves.
Sometimes it's the right one, sometimes it's the left one, and sometimes they will both stop working. Turning the headlight switch off and then on brings them back to life.
What part in the headlight system is causing this?
The wife and I just brought home her new LS460L and she really hates that ECON light in the dash. We both read the manuals and we found several references to why it is there but none on how to turn it off. I can get the on off toggle to come up in the display but we can't get it to the off position.

I want to know if it's possible to go from the engine being on directly to electronics on mode without turning the car off and then turning them on.

I recently purchased a 2013 LS460 and I'm alhaving issues with my lights turning off.
When on Auto.. Lights turn off after pressing the Lock 2x.
When on On position or parking lights position and I press the lock button twice, it will not turn off. I mean it will stay on for a while.
Check the delay headlight setting in the menu options and it's set at 30 seconds.
Took my car back to Lexus and told them my issue I was having...and they still couldn't figure it out.
I don't know how to turn on rear wiper on my lexus rx350 2007.
View 1 RepliesIn the last two days I've noticed that my steering wheel would suddenly have intermittent episodes of being hard to turn for a second or so. It has gotten progressively worse over the last 24 hours or so where when trying to make a right turn the steering wheel feels noticeably "heavy" during the turn. And in some cases after I make a turn onto a side street I let go of the steering wheel for it to straighten itself out so I can continue straight down the street I just turned on but the steering wheel doesn't straighten itself out quickly enough like it used to and I have to physically turn it back myself otherwise I'd start making a u-turn motion and careen into a parked car. Weird.
I can only conclude that there's something wrong with my power steering rack.
FYI, I have a 2009 460 SWB AWD with about 78k miles on it.
I'm starting to have this problem with my 07. I pulling my garage and the auto lights come on, I shut the car off and the lights will go off after 30 seconds...now every 15th time the lights stay on until the battery dies.....
View 10 RepliesJust had both my low beam D4S headlights replaced at an auto shop. Once I turn the car on or flick the low beam headlights on, they turn on for about 10 seconds and then the driver followed by the passenger low beam headlights turn off. Why this is happening as both bulbs are brand new. Before I had the bulbs replaced only one bulb worked so I elected to get both replaced.

Sometimes I have to do this a few times in order for it to work. What are possible issues that I could be having. Right now I am thinking it could be the ballast or the fuses. If the bulb had gone out it shouldn't be turning on at all right?

View 10 Replies2007 ES350 ... My driver side HID would flicker and turn off after a few minutes. The HID would turn on after switching the headlights on/off. I have so far replaced both stock HID lights with Kensun 5000K and today I replaced the ballasts. My problem still persists, the driver side head light still flickers and after a while shuts down. What do I do next, I need this fixed because I have to get my Lexus inspected.

View 14 RepliesMy driver's side headlight bulb started malfunctioning.
Here's the situation so far: Whenever I turned my headlights on, the driver's side bulb would turn off after 5 minutes.
Replaced both bulbs
Drivers side bulb stayed on for about 20 - 25 minutes at first then started going off after just a few minutes
Replaced ballast (new) on drivers side but same results as above where light stayed on for about 20 - 25 minutes at first then going off again after a few minutes. Each time light stayed on for a shorter period of time
Bought 2 more bulbs and replaced both again in case first set was bad. Same thing still happens and bulb tends to flicker at times.
I am at a loss as to why the drivers side light will not stay on after changing the ballast and the bulbs twice. Also, I've noticed that the drivers side bulb is noticeably dimmer than the passenger side bulb even though both bulbs are brand new.
What the problem might be? I'm at a loss now and not sure what to do next.
