View 2 Replies2008 Hyundai Accent 3 door the automatic transmission indicator light on the center console is not working anymore.
There is no mention of it in the Owners Manual. Every other bulb is referenced. Should I junk it or replace the bulb?
Ive noticed while looking at online photos of the 2011 F150s, that on the FX4 and above trim levels, there are 2 sets of buttons on the center gear shifter. On mine, there is only one for tow/haul mode. I can make out in the pictures that its still there, but what is the other button?
View 10 RepliesHow to repair some scratches in the center console on an IS F? The scratches are in the vertical black plastic section of the center console. I stupidly scratched it one day I needed to take the driver seat out, when I was putting the seat back in the car. The scratches are basically where the buckle for the seat belt is (to the right of your right leg, if you're the driver.)
View 6 RepliesIS350 fsport. I have had the car for two weeks already and these sounds are driving me crazy. Its definitely coming from the center console area, I can even move it a bit and its makes the squeak sound. On bumps something like a little plastic pebble feels like it rattles. I went to lexus and they couldn't really do anything about it. They said its normal when two plastics come together to squeak.
View 14 RepliesI am in need of some measurements on this type of center console. Length, width, height.
View 12 RepliesFor the last week now, the whole center console (navigation, radio, climate controls, etc.) on my 2012 F150 will just go out while I'm driving. Sometimes it will come back on in a few seconds, sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes, sometimes I have to turn the vehicle off and then back on.
I have the extended warranty through Carmax, so I am covered through 100K. I took it into them and the screen was off, and the person checking in the vehicle confirmed it was not working. But of course, when the technician restarted the vehicle, it was working and he has no idea what is wrong nor how too diagnose it since it is working.
There is a buzzing vibration in my car over rough roads and it seems to occur only when it's warmer than about 50 degrees. I know that may seem odd but I've been paying attention to it for about 3 weeks. It only happens when the road is rough e.g. has a lot of cracks in it or has a lot of granite in it. The sound is like a bee. Now that it's colder here I notice that I can't hear it on the same roads when it's 50 degrees or lower. It's hard to pinpoint where the sound is coming from too. I know someone posted that a clip was loose from when they had tinting done but it seems my case would be different -- like something (nut and bolt?) is expanding and contracting. I'm not sure I want he dealership to take the car apart trying to find it. I can live with it but it is irritating as I often drive with the radio off and the car is silent and solid otherwise.
View 5 RepliesI am 3 weeks into my 2014 ES300h, my first Lexus and first hybrid. I am hearing this odd rattling noise from the center console, it's almost like two wires touching. The noise comes mainly at low speeds and mostly what it seems like on the hybrid train.
I took it to the dealer who is saying they hear no noise or normal hybrid noise. Since this car is supposed to have a super quite cabin I am wondering if I am being taken for a ride (figuratively) .
In the process of wrapping my center console in carbon fiber, have become stuck at this step here. How does the big button come off that selects Eco/normal/sport s/s+. ? The button does not slide through the bottom, like the snow and traction buttons, it is too wide. So it has to come off at the top, but how?
View 2 RepliesI have a 2013 Ford F150 XLT Supercrew with the 'jump' seat in the middle. When I fold down the center seat, I hit my elbow while driving and turning.
I'm contemplating removing the center jump seat and replacing it with a Ford center console. Is it just a matter of removing the center jump seat bolts, then bolt in the new center console?
I see on the Ford parts website a adobe center console : 2013 Ford F-150 Floor Console | FordParts.com
Of course, then what do I do with a center jump seat?
What does this mean? For the past few months my transmission has been really clunky and just un-smooth and now this. Is it broken?
View 12 Replies08 LS600hL. The cigarette/power outlet in center console shorts out instantly. I have changed the fuse a couple times. Tested several different plugs. The ashtray and rear console power outlets both work perfectly. Nothing else seems to have any issues, radio, windows, climate, etc.
View 4 RepliesI've got a 2008 Ford F250 Superduty Crew Cab. My problem is that the center console of the front bench seat is loose. I keep it folded down nearly all the time and any pressure on the front left corner causes the rear right corner to pivot up.
View 3 RepliesHave a 2008 F350 Lariat Crew cab and I don't have any power coming to the center console power points. I unplugged the cig lighters and check the harness itself but no juice. Fuse 41 and 43 test good am i missing another fuse not listed?
View 5 RepliesJust got a 2008 F-250, truck has the center console jump seat and the console lid is missing. Can you just buy a new lid or do you have to buy the whole thing? Cost? Places to buy?
View 4 RepliesI am trying to change the color of the light on my dash board and center console from the standard orange to a light blue color. I've tried searching the internet looking for any advice but I haven't come across anything for a 2009 Toyota corolla. I understand that some cars need to have the light bulbs soldered and some can you can change out a colored film. Which of these options applies to my car? If it's the light bulb change then what size and how many. Also, how to take out the instrumental cluster.
View 6 RepliesHow to replace this light? I haven't found any threads on this as it seems like it's easily overlooked. The light bulb is located at the back of the center console box that lights up when opened. It's very dim and I have a few LEDs hanging around I'd like to replace it with.
View 5 RepliesI drive a 2008 Chevrolet Impala. The car has had some electrical problems going back about a year and a few months that I have neglected to fix. The first problem was with the shifter not being able to move out of park without hitting the button inside the center console to do a shift lock override, which started last August.
The second problem was with the ignition not being able to release the key without hitting a switch inside the ignition, which started back in the Spring. I have just been rolling along promising to eventually address those, but yesterday the car radio stopped functioning. Then this morning the car would not start.
The electrical system comes on just fine (save the radio), but when I go to start it the car just clicks over. I did not leave any lights or switches on, so I am assuming it must be some sort of problem with the electrical system.
I am considering the purchase of an 08 Super Duty, however the truck I am looking at has a center console between the front seat. I need seating for six and like to swap a leather middle seat with fold down armrest for the console that I can't use. I don't want to buy this particular truck if I can't somehow get the seating issue corrected. You can view the truck at this link. 2008 Ford F-250 ...

I would like it to be brighter to make it easier to see the drink holder while driving at night.
