View 4 RepliesI have 2010 f150 when I turn my steering wheel all the way in one direction and I press the gas from a dead stop like at a stop sign it makes sound like metal rubbing together slit vibration with shaking(like the back wheels having a hard time keeping up) from the back end. i took it to a shop they look at it. They took apart the transfer case and re-lubed what was in side told me it should go away in a couple of days. I live in winter climate when it's below freezing it works no problem without any sounds.

View 7 RepliesI read my manual that claims to never change ATF in our transmission as its suppose to be good till 100k... well I have some bad news for everyone. I have a friend who works for Lexus dealership who said he serviced a couple of IS350 and found out that the ATF in those trannys is pitch black and low on levels by 60k.
Starting to dig deeper into this issue I found a thread by a member who had his tranny replaced because original failed possibly due to spoiled and burned out ATF.
So, needless to say I will be changing my automatic Tranny Fluid coming up on 45k and had a question: Does our car have flush lines to do the ATF flush and what is the proper way to do it because I know simply draining it will only get about half out.
At first I was hearing an occasional click as I shifted the weight of the car from left to right, or right to left. Then it started making the clicking noise a little more, now it clicks during parking lot turns in either direction all the time.
I read that it could be a wheel bearing? but with the turning clicks i'm almost positive its a CV axle going bad.
Started happening yesterday evening, it went on for like 15 minutes then gone then came back again. Not sure if this do anything, it happened after we changed the car battery few hours before we drove the car again.
It made noise even when the engine is not running, so the second i put the key in....that noise came up.

View 4 Repliesi have a 2009 Camry LE. I got it (used with 43.000 miles in February 2011) i've noticed a clicking sound when i am turning the wheel in either direction half way or more. The clicking speeds up as the car does and slows as the car slows. It's more noticeable at low speeds. I've read about the ABS clicking when the car is started but the noise is not present unless turning.
View 13 RepliesI have an 02 Passat with a passenger side window motor problem. The window works fine from the drivers side and will go up using the pass. side switch, but it will not go down. It makes a clicking noise each time I press the switch and the window sort of acts like it wants to move down. I took the door panel off and checked the switch and the wires going to the motor and every thing looked ok. I checked the switch with a multimeter and it appears to be ok. What else I can check?

View 14 RepliesI started to drive with my windows open and just noticed a noise every time I switch gears, and specially when I'm going up on hills or streets, the noise is just for 1 second maybe 1.5 and when I'm going up on long and elevated streets is longer specially on 3rd gear, I just did the oil change on my car a couple weeks a go (quacker state 5W20 , 3 1/2 quarts) and I was hoping to fix the "noise" with that, but is not......the "noise" is like a "click click click click" like valves hitting .......I can't say for how long the engine was doing that "noise", cause I just noticed after driving with my windows open
My car have 125,000 kilometers and the timing belt was change at 108,000 kilos, no A/C on the car

So lately I've been noticing that it takes a really long time for my water temp bars (on the dash) to go down to 0. At first I noticed this during the same time I discovered I had coolant leaking from the valley plate. I took the car in and had that sealed + fresh coolant added, but I'm still noticing that it's takes a really long time for the coolant to cool down, and I'm talking about leaving the car untouched for 3 or 4 hours, and the bar is still half way at operating temps, meanwhile the oil bar is completely at 0.
It hasn't been hot at all in SoCal lately, so I don't think this is attributable to weather. I checked the surrounding of the radiator and there doesn't seem to be a buildup of gunk that decreased air flow. During normal drives on city and highway, the temps are completely fine and don't seem to exceed the normal operating temp.
At this point I'm wondering if there's an issue with other supporting components like the temp. sensor, radiator ran, maybe the water pump?
Other relevant info: MY2011, 67k on the odometer.

The car is under 25k miles. I have owned for less then 2 years. Recently, I notice a noise coming from the rear every time backing out the drive way. The sounds louder in the winter**. I have gone to 3 different dealers and non of them offered a remedy. Some say they cant reduplicate the issue so I scheduled a test drive with a tech. Was able to duplicate the issue, however the tech says its normal ( pad shift over time) and told me a lot of the newer carmy has the issue. I'm exhausted from going dealer to dealer and no remedy issue. They all said the same thing "its normal & there's nothing they can do".
View 2 RepliesI drive a 94 Saturn SL1 as a part-time delivery driver for a pizza shop. Recently I bottomed out on someone's driveway. I could hear the bottom of my car scraping against the asphalt. It took several tries (in my 5-speed) to free myself from this trap. Since then I've been hearing a pretty loud "clicking" noise from the passenger side of the car every time I make a turn, where a small turn or a big turn. My mechanic replaced the left axle and the right boot, saying that both were defective. However I still hear the noise. What can I do??
View 3 RepliesMy car is a 14' GTI and it's a 6MT. It only has 3k miles on it, but ever since I bought it I've noticed that I can hear a click sometimes when shifting or releasing the clutch pedal.
Is this just the normal mechanical noise? (it's my first manual). I mean the car shifts/drives fine, im just curious.The car is driving fine and everything and shifts perfectly fine. I'm probably being paranoid, but im not used to a Standard Transmission also, so im not aware what noise they should be making.I guess it's worth noting, that I also kinda hear it when releasing the clutch (but im also shifting at that time as well, and whats in the video is basically the same noise).The car is pretty much brand new......3k or so miles on it, so it seems......unlikely? but I figured i'd ask anyways.
I hear it on my 2014 Prius. I just noticed it clicks , as it's the first time I drove it with the windows down. I can't say if it's new, since when I close the windows and music on, I can't hear anything. My clicks are exactly described above. I just took mine to the dealer last week for the 15k and everything checked out.
View 2 RepliesI have a 250 f-sport model, it's only around 1.2k miles, and I recently noticed a 'clicking' noise while making some turns. Would it have anything to do with the weather? I have been experiencing colder/rainy weather compared to the warm weather I was driving in when I first got the car... Weird 'click' noise? I feel like it's coming from the steering wheel column.... or am I just being paranoid?
View 11 RepliesLexus IS300... The sound is coming from the rear. It appears to be left rear. It comes and goes, but seems to intensify when accelerating and right turns. It's annoying. It's embarrassing. I have taken it to several different shops and nobody seems to be able to figure it out. What it could be?
