PCS blinking yellow light? I know what it is for but just got the car (2011 ISF) on Saturday and no PCS light. Drove it for about 10 minutes the first day I got it and then couldn't drive it again until today. Today = PCS light.
I was investigating wiring yesterday in the sunroof area for possibly hooking up a radar detector, which I didn't do yet. I replaced the car battery the day before. Drove it around today for really the first time and the PCS light remains.

A close friend of mine just traded in his '04 Tacoma with ~240k miles on a 2011 F-150 EcoBoost XLT Screw 6.5' bed w/ 3.73's. Truck has ~75k miles He went the EB route after I was having the tick/tap issue with my 5.0 (yes... a 5.0 guy talked someone into the EB ). Actually was my first time in an EcoBoost truck and MAN is that thing quick, especially with the 3.73s.
Truck is very clean inside and out and was well cared for. He did throw a blinking CEL light (assume misfire) after a rainy highway trip, having to tip into the throttle to pass someone. I had already mentioned that might happen so he knew to expect it.
We are planning to do anything "non invasive" to prevent the issue (e.g. no IC drilling). We plan to swap out plugs and boots. Looks like plugs should be Motorcraft SP534 gapped to .030 and boots are Motorcraft WR6135.
What are the torque spec for the EB plugs? For my 5.0, spec is 124 in-lb. Looking like 133 in-lb from a couple of sources. Is there anything else we should be doing to prevent a misfire CEL in the future? He doesn't baby the thing and the CEL only happened the one time so far.

Drove fairly fast (160km/hr or 100 miles/hr) then took an exit down a ramp and had to stop at a red light. Noticed all of a sudden that the engine was running bit rougher and then noticed the yellow engine light blinking. I know to turn off the engine immediately when this occurs but then all of a sudden engine light turned off and car was running smooth again.
Car has been reliable for 7 years - proper maintained, synthetic oil, 171000km, timing belt changed, burns very little oil, good torque. Should I have it checked by the dealer (fantastic fair vw dealer)?

Driving on the highway today and when I started to accelerate fast I noticed my check engine light blinking yellow and also noticed loosing boost I think I can only reach maybe 10-12 psi, I am stage 1 revo and also it was 95 degrees out, what it could be, thinking misfiring? so would that mean new coil pack and spark plugs?

I have a 2011 SCREW Eco-Boost with a build date in April 2011. I have a gravel driveway. When I first got the truck I noticed small dark spots in the gravel but attributed it to the A/C. I parked over some fresh snow the other night and found some fluid stain on the ground in the morning. It was kind of by the motor and then a little further back. It was the color of yellow/chartruse antifreeze but the truck has pink antifreeze in the overflow tank. What is going on?

I got my 2011 ISF with 17k miles. About a month ago it started to make noise under light braking. No noise under heavy braking. I know the ISF go through brake and tires like crazy but at 18k miles?
What pads and rotors are recommended for a new set?

Hate the LED tails, but I can live with them if I must.
Very disappointed the tails have red turn signals.

2011 F-150 crew cab 4x4, problem started when truck wouldn't start like a dead battery. Jumped and immediately started no problem, drove a half hour and stopped at store, started fine and all good. Parked at house and friends stopped over and reported truck tail lights / brake lights were flashing. Fellow mechanic recommended unplugging trailer plug receptacle behind bumper and waited but same thing, lights blink every couple seconds. Who's the electrical gremlin slayer champion ??? Any ides or cures for known issues of this nature ?

I have a 2008 is-f. My car will not rev about 1500 rpms and the hazard exclamation mark symbol is blinking on my dash saying check vsc! I had a bad battery and thought with the little research I have done that might be the problem but I put a new one in and the problem is still there. i own a scan tool so I scanned the cel and came up with code p2118 , it has to be something with the throttle sensor or something. I've tried pulling fuses and resetting the ecm but still no luck. I reset the cel with my little tool but it comes right back on as soon as its started.

My boss has an 08 Tiguan and he got an error light on his dash coming to work today. It's yellow with an exclamation mark in the centre. On both side's there's a solid line and on the bottom it's got a "squiggly" line.
What it might be or if this is something known about them? He states there's no performance loss or anything acting up at all. Short of bringing it to a dealer which will be closed by the time we're both off work I thought I would start here.

I just got my car back from a smashed bumper replacement and it looks like my electrical systems were disconnected and reconnected during repairs. My radio presets were default and the clock was also reset. There is a red blinking light on the lower left panel, below the steering wheel, left side. Next to the VSC/TRAC on/off button. The manual has no indication what this light is. It blinks even when the car is turned off. I have attached a picture also.....

I noticed my drivers fog light was out last week, okay no big deal, replaced both and saved the good passenger side one for a spare.
This morning while driving to work (0330), I noticed my drivers side fog light blinking. Its not a steady blink, more of a bad connection or ground situation. Drive for a while....all is well...hit a bump and it goes off for a few seconds and comes back on.
I haven't had a chance to look at it and probably won't until I get off of work next week. I've confirmed that the passenger side doesn't do this. I'm not going to use them until I get it figured out. My question is if there is any known "go to" or trouble spots for them doing this? Truck is a 14 Supercrew without LED or HIDs.

I had my dealership install a car starter when I purchased my 2014 Santa Fe a year and a half ago. I noticed that this blue flashing light constantly flashes up by the rearview mirror. It looks like an anti theft device which it isn't' and really bothers me especially at night because it lights up the whole dash. How to disable this and still keep the remote functional?

Sunday I had a new set of tires put on my Civic. They told me that one of the four Tire Pressure Monitoring System sensors was bad and that they'd have to order me a new one. I drove home that day with the TPMS light on, which was expected.
This morning I went back to the shop and they replaced the bad sensor. However, after resetting, and doing whatever else it is they did with the handheld computer thing a half-dozen times, the Low Tire Pressure Indicator light is not only on, but blinking. (The TPMS light is off). They drove it around, they checked it with their computer thing again, they plugged in the handheld thing to reset it, went around and did something at each of the tire stems multiple times, but no matter what they did, the light wouldn't (and won't) stop blinking.
"If it doesn't stop on its own, you might have to bring it to a Honda Dealer."

I used to have an old Aurora that would turn on the engine light every time a reading went slightly out of whack, and after so many ignition key turns (on and off) the light would turn off on its own. Is that the case here? Or is this light going to blink forever until I go to the Honda Dealer?

Having problems with a blinking emissions light at certain speeds? I have a 2006 F150 with the 5.4L engine with 132,000 miles on it and have had a problem with the emissions light coming on when I reach a speed of 80 mph. The pickup will drive fine up unto this speed but when it reaches 78-82 mph the pickup will start shake/rattle and the emissions light will blink on and off repeatedly until you reduce your speed to around 60 mph and then the light will turn off completely.
We took the pickup into the local Ford dealer for them to look at it. After they took a look they couldn't pull a code because there is no light that comes on until the higher speed. They told me that this was due to a bad tank of gas and this happens to prevent damage to the catalytic converter. They said it would be better once that fuel burned off. Well two full tank fills later the same problem persists. Just wondering, what course of action they took to fix it.

My 2005 STX 4x4 was running fine until yesterday, then on my way home I lost all forward power. The odometer displayed TRANS FAULT and the O/D OFF light was blinking. Limped home.... Today I checked the fluid level and it was a little high, so I ciphoned some out. I read a lot of posts about the same problem which lead me to my local autozone to have them put a code reader on it. Unlike all of the other posts, NO codes came up.
According to the scanner, my truck is fine. I was hoping to get some kind of "P" code to target the problem, but no such luck. I checked all the fuses and they are fine. What should I do now? I don't really want to take it to the dealer, fearing that they will automatically say I need a new tranny without checking everything else first.

My 2011 ISF has around 50K miles. Recently I noticed that when I shift into 1st from 2nd, usually on approach to a slower curve or slowing down to a light, there appears to be a distinct shudder. It doesn't happen all the time, and it happens regardless of Sport or normal mode.
Right after it shifts to 1st and the RPMs climb (or so it seems), I get 3-4 distinct back and forth movements .. i.e shudder. I think this is a recent phenomenon, as I know shifting into 1st is usually not very smooth, but I don't think I felt this shudder before.
No codes etc ...everything else normal. Don't think the trans is slipping, as car pulls hard and traction control is always busy. Motor mounts? Car is never tracked and driven spiritedly, but never ever abused or tracked. I do enjoy shifting it.

I'm looking to buy an ISF and now I'm reading about the 2IS chassis suffering from front inner tire wear with many attributing it to the soft LCA bushing (see FIG fix) and the factory alignment. Most of the reports seem to be focused on the 2008-2010 ISFs and I see little about 2011+ owners reporting this issue. It's my understanding that the 2011+ front springs are slightly taller/higher and a different rate. Did this possibility (inadvertently) correct the front inner tire wear issue?
I had a 2003 G35 and front inner tire wear plagued that car too and it was annoying and no real fix available. It had the same exact suspension setup on ALL components. We didn't smoke through the inner rubber tread, but rather it feathered like and if you didn't stay on top of it, your G/Z would sound and feel like a dump truck after about 10-15K miles because of the feathering.
I'm looking at 2012-2014 ISFs and I would check and correct the alignment if necessary. I know FIG makes a replacement bushing, but it's urethane and after about 20 years of modding cars, I've learned that urethane is best left to race cars. After about 5K miles, urethane needs regreasing and almost always leads to squeaking/clunking as the urethane loosens up after a year or two.

Is there a way to make the running lights flash yellow for signaling a turn like many other makes and models? Would it require aftermarket lights? If I wasn't mistaken, I think I saw an RC doing this today.
Also if this is a thing does that mean I could get the amber out of the headlight? My car is 2015, if that makes a difference.
