I've recently changed the battery on my Honda Fit and now when I run the AC on high it will pulsate or bog down then back up to normal.

Tiguan :: Rusted Brakes / Pulsating Feel And Car Shakes When Coming From A High Speed
So I've been driving my tiggy with the rusted brakes from when I left it for a few months during this past winter season outdoors. I had VW check on it and they said that the only way to fix the problem is to replace the brakes (rotors and pads, I assume) for over $1k. Is there really no way to maybe scrape/sand the rusts out? Right now, when I step on the brakes, I have the pulsating feel and the car shakes when coming from a high speed. At first I thought it would go away after driving it a bit and stepping on the brakes since I did just that last year when I left it for a month during the winter season as well. If the only way is to have the brakes replaced, then I guess I have to shell out the money.

I have a Nissan Pathfinder 2001 and it only works on settings 1 - 3 . When put on high the compressor turns off and no cool air . Even when turn on , the air is not cool enough. It's pretty hot in Arizona but it should cool off nice but it doesn't . Took it for a check up and it needs just a bit of refrigerant and probably the AC control might need to be replaced. But they weren't sure about it.

My 07 LS460L has a pulsating idle. Approximately 2-300 rpm from 1200 rpm. It has, while in Drive dropped to 4-500 rpm then will recover. Also it has dropped so low that I thought it was going to stall but then it jumped to 1500 rpm fluctuated then recovered. I had it in at Sewell 2 weeks ago and they couldn't find the reason until a week later they said the throttle body was dirty. The tech cleaned it and I still have the same issue. No performance issues just idle? I have two LS430' 01&06 and neither one of them have this issue. The fuel rails were replaced under recall.

History: A few months back I had a leak repaired in my cooling system. I noticed the other night that my radiator was nearly empty again, so I've filled it back up, but haven't fixed it yet.
As summer is over, I no longer need my AC. However that caused me to notice that at its coolest setting, the vents are blowing warm air (maybe 15º warmer than outside) and that seems high to me.
My immediate thought is that the heater control valve may be leaking/damaged/corroded.
Sonata NF (2006-10) :: Humming Coming From AC (Passenger Side Dash) When On High Settings
So I just got my sonata back from the dealer, they fixed an intermediate problem i was having with the starter solenoid when it rained. car wouldn't turn over when key was turned for about 20 clicks.. (free under warranty and got a loaner!) new starter and solenoid!
But when I got my car back i noticed a new humming coming from the AC (passenger side dash) when it was on high.. i never really noticed it before.. do you think this could be from the cabin filter? or the tech that worked on the car messed with the blower?
I was thinking about going back to the dealer and asking my service advisor about the noise.. and if he said it was normal i would walk over to the sales dept and ask to test drive one of their NF's to see if the AC made the same noise.. and either leave the dealer knowing it's a normal sound, or drive the test vehicle up to the service advisor and ask him why this sonata doesn't make that noise?

When I walk up to my 07 460 at night and the doors are locked, the interior lights come on once it senses my key fob. However, if the doors are unlocked, the interior lights do not come on and I get in the car in the dark and fumble around in the dark getting situated. Is there a setting that controls this so I can change it?

I played with the buttons and followed the info I found by city. But I could follow them I guess. Some of the information mentioned I couldn't see on my module. My module isn't new so maybe I need to do a full reset.

My 2007 Lexus ES350 with 81,000 miles on it has a very low frequency squeak when the heater is first cold or on low. When I turn up the fan above the lowest setting the squeak will go away. I checked my cabin air filter but it appears to be clean & newly replaced.

I have a 2007 Prius with about 150,000 miles. This has happened a couple of times in the past 2 months : Our Navigation system seems to be resetting itself- this morning it happened for the second time in the past 2 months:
Volume resets
Search location changed
All “previous” destinations are gone.
Not sure if any other settings changed, but those are the 3 that are obvious- it is almost as if it reverted to some kind of default settings. The nav does work just fine, however. This happened about 2 months ago, and it happened again today.
Lexus LS 2007+ :: Driver Side Windshield Wiper Blade Position Settings
I recently purchased a '09 LS460 SWB. I noticed the driver side windshield wiper arm sitting up high enough to be in my field of vision.
I'm aware that there is a "winter mode" that allows you to raise the arm up a few inches, but from everything I've read....usually the driver and passenger side arm raise together.
In my case, my passenger side arm sits nice and low near the hood, while the dirver is sitting an inch or two higher.
I tried pushing the driver arm down (with success), but after cycling the windshield wipers once, the driver side arm goes back to the higher position.
Santa Fe (CM - 2007-12) :: 2010 - Warm Air From Vent / Temp Control On Highest Settings
I find that my 2010 V6 is always cold in the winter. I always need to turn the temperature control to the highest, but there is still not enough heat. This morning, it was -11c outside. After I drove 10 KM (about 20 minutes) , inside the car is still very cold. My feet were frozen. The air from the vent is only warm, not hot. I also find that this car takes longer to warm up. The temperature gauge won't start to move until I drive about 2.5KM.

I bought a new Honda fit Auto couple days ago, while getting ready to go from first job site to 2nd one, I wasn't paying attention (was adjusting the seat), I had my foot on the acceleator instead of brake. Of course, when I start the car, it cranks and follow by a high rev sound from the engine (I think I hold it half way for about 2 seconds) before realize my mistake and lift off the pad. The car was sitting in the parking lot for 4 hours about 5 degree outside (I drove the car for 40 minutes 4 hours ago). I heard cold starting your car while reving it is not a good idea. especially on a new car that needs break it. I am just wondering if this step cause any perm damange to the engine? After couple of days of driving, it sounded fine with no issue (though on the same day, when I arrived at my 2nd work place after that first debacle, the car took 2 cranks to get it start).

I have a high pitched noise coming from my car's navigation DVD. If I eject the DVD, the noise goes away. It starts up again when I put the DVD back in. Sometimes it doesn't make any noise, but it's typically on the whole time the car is on. When I stop the car, it continues for a little bit, which makes me think that it has something to do with the DVD rubbing against something.
A few months ago, I would get sporadic errors about the disc that would go away if I ejected and reinserted the disc. Other than the high pitched noise, it seems to be running fine now. The main question I have is whether replacing the disc has any hope to get rid of the noise or if I have a bigger problem and need to repair the system.
