View 1 RepliesI did a search and I can't seem to find anything on how to remove the 2 side lower grills for fogs. I wanted to know if the whole bumper need to be removed?
View 7 RepliesI need to replace the center mesh grill on the front bumper. Is there anything I need to be careful with or watch out for. when I pull on the old grill or when I push the new one back into place? Does it come out easily or is it tricky?
View 4 RepliesSeveral times it would have been nice just to pull the plastic grills off and clean out the bugs. What are the details on how you can do this?
Using a tube to vacuum tube through the grill holes can result in bending the fins. Attached is an example hack at a coin op on a road trip. Need a better way.
I just noticed that my middle grill is broken, Is it hard to replace? How is it done?
View 3 RepliesMy 00 2.8 b5 doesn't have the fogs on the lower grill. How would I go about putting them on. But I don't want the fogs on my headlights to come on with them. I just wan the fogs on the lower grill to be on when I turn the fogs on.
View 1 RepliesI want to put lower grill fogs in my GLI, but was concerned about them interfering with the intercooler system. I currently have an upgraded SMIC, but was concerned the lower grill fogs would impede a significant airflow to the SMIC.
Additionally, I do plan on going to a FMIC in the near future and wasn't sure if people were able to run the fog lights while still having space for the FMIC piping.
The lower speaker grill is cracked, with one side pushed in and the other side pushed out. I would like to "iron" the crack back to a flat condition and see if it will be acceptable. If not I will need to get a new speaker grill. I looked, poked, and prodded, but cannot see how to gain access to the speaker. It doesn't appear to snap in. Is it secured from the back side?
View 5 RepliesI've searched, I saw, I read... and I tried. but no luck. I can't seem to get the small hinges/clips unlocked to pull out the lower grill.
View 3 RepliesI hear faint rattling from what looks like a center speaker grill on the dash (behind my sensor for DRL) when I press down on it, the noise goes away. What is the purpose of that center grill?
View 2 RepliesI am trying to remove the lower half of the air filter. How do I do that. I removed the upper half , the air filter and the snow screen. The lower half moves in its place but does not come out. Is there a special procedure to remove it ?
View 1 RepliesHow do you remove the center cap on the wheels on the 337? I do not want to damage them.
View 16 Replies2005 Camry... I have tried and failed to find how to remove the center console. No bolts in sight.
View 2 RepliesGrandson shoved an ink pen into the center dash vents of our 2007 Camry LE. I removed the vent grille and found out the pen rolled on back and dropped down into the plenum. Now we cannot set the air circulation to defrost. I'm assuming the pen is restricting flap movement. The dealer was not sure the best way to extract the pen - guessing would have to gut the dash with 6 to 8 hours of labor. I'm mechanically inclined and would try the extraction myself, but want to ensure I take the best route and not waste time and effort with an incorrect approach.
View 12 RepliesI'm a rural mail carrier and have been looking for a Sport Trac for a work truck. It's size seems to be ideal. I recently found a 2002 model in excellent shape but it has that large console down the center that has an a/c duct in it for the back seat. For me to be able to use this truck, that would have to be completely removed.
Is this possible? I really need to know as that is the only deal breaker I have with this otherwise fine looking truck.
Some fool with a tow hook must have backed into my rear bumper this morning because the black plastic spoiler is pushed in pretty bad on the left corner (to the left of the exhaust). Before I have it replaced, I want to have a go at banging it back in place, but the dent is at the crease and I can't do it in situ. Is there a DIY about removing the spoiler (the lower black plastic half of the cover)? Or if not, one for dropping the whole bumper? There seem to be a bunch on the GTi and Passat but none for Tiggy.
View 4 RepliesHow to remove the pad on the right side of the center console ? Have a very irritating squeak that has begun in the area. Appears to be the leather like materiel rubbing on the plastic upper part of the console.
View 5 RepliesThe connector is near the floor (that's the gas pedal, in the picture). I've slid back the red clip on both, but the connector still will not separate. Is there a trick?
2001 Escape V6....
I have searched for but have not found how to remove the lower center dash panel on a 2005 Prius.
View 1 RepliesOn my '12 F-150 Ecoboost there is a substantial opening in the lower center of the vehicle. I know that you can purchase a small after-market grill insert for that area. Is it wise to do that, or is in fine the way it is?
View 3 RepliesJust bought a new grill and I was trying to take off the original one but idk where the other bolts are apart from the 4 on top.
