Hearing a definite (and quite annoying) clicking sound as the needles sweep back from the start up. Dealer says it is normal. How difficult is it to turn it off?

I have a 1999 F-150 with a 4.2L V6. I went out to start the truck this morning and when I powered on the ignition the needles on all the gauges and lights were normal. When the chiming stopped, I turned the key to crank the engine. I heard one click and nothing. Then I noticed all the gauge needles peg out on max, then back to zero. No power at all and nothing. Engine will not do anything. I turn the key to the off position and hear a faint beep coming from under the dash. Not a chime, but a beeping sound. The battery is about 4 months old and the starter is about 2 months old. The engine was bad in the truck when I bought it and I replaced the engine about 2 months ago. It has been running just fine up until this morning. Could the battery be bad? I also have installed new battery cable ends and checked all the connections at the starter.

The problem is intermittent: After turning off the car, there is a clicking noise coming from the needles in the dash. Sometimes the needles click and jump repeatedly; sometimes there is just the clicking noise. To get it to stop, I'll turn the ignition switch several times. At this point, the car seems "dead" but not from the battery. The car actually will not do anything electrically including popping the truck, unlocking, etc. It will not start.
After turning the switch several times, the car would eventually start like nothing was ever wrong with it. I am just guessing that there is something wrong with the switch or something electrical. I also want to think it coincides with something to do with the battery. The problem seems to be worse after checking and seeing that the battery may be low. We have had the alternator checked, we've had the battery itself checked, etc. In addition to driving around with an angry (bad) catalytic converter, this problem, etc, I really would like to send it off of a ravine.

I am looking for the part number for the rear drivers side window sweep/weather stripping for the interior. I think some adhesive from the old tint got on it and it is squeaking. When I wet it with windex, it stops the noise but I can see lines where it's touching the window.

How do I get my gauge needles to run a cycle on start up? It is even possible?

What maybe causing a metallic clicking from my back seat. It sounds like it's coming from the center of the rear bench seat. It happens sporadically. Just started when it got cold out.

So frustrated. How do I get the dvd player out? Removing the dashboard? My dvd player isn't in the dashboard though!

My Honda Civic (automatic transmission) is not starting. When turning the ignition, nothing happens. After turning the key off, all the instrument needles are ticking back and forth. It was a cold night last night. The battery is fairly new.

I coded the cluster to have the needles staging when you turn on the car but noticed that they don't always do it... Why?

I been hearing a clicking noise coming from the back right side when I brake. The mechanic said this is not the case and has replaced the right wheel hub, and front axle, and the struts. He is searching for the noise as the noise seems to shift- it really is odd. The mechanic did pay for the axle as it is driving him crazy not to find the problem. I have ABS brakes and this is a 4cyl with almost 200,000 miles.

On my 2003 f150 4 by 4 I've been hearing clicking noises. When i take off from the start it starts clicking then gets faster up until I hit about 30 mph then goes away. The sound is coming from the back. Whenever I goes in reverse it rattles a little bit too (not so much of the clicking). Do I have a bad u joint somewhere back there?

I replaced blower switch last year a couple of years ago. I recently starting to get clicking noise from blower relay, and fan turns off then comes back on.
Question:
1- Problem more likely to be from the relay or the fan switch? Should I just replace the relay?
2- I can see and touch the fan relay, but how do I get to it to replace it? What dis-assembly is required?

2012 GTI 6 Speed
Both needles bounce while maintaining a constant speed, example going 80mph in 6th, RPM moves +/-100ish RPM and speed is 1-2 MPH. The car doesn't actually move, just the gauges. Engine doesn't sound like its miss firing MPG was 30 going 80 so it seems to run just fine. Going through the gears playing around its smooth and normal.
I'm on a road trip so very limited on anything to diagnose, just looking for some insight.

I am going down the highway at 70-75 mph listening to music I look down and see my gauge needles sweeping across the faces of the gauges. The heads up display resets. Nothing else in the car changes radio keeps playing, speed doesn't change. Nothing else changed.
Mods that have affected electrical system:
Interior LEDs (front dome, rear dome, footwell lights, glove box and trunk)
1 JL 10 inch sub with JL 900/5 amp

I was at the bank today and when I put it in reverse to back out, the car jolted and then it rolled forward slightly while at the same time sounding like there was grinding. I immediately put it back into park and the noise stopped. Then I tried to reverse again and it started making a clicking and whining noise and wouldn't back up. It sounded like it went into gear but it won't move. I was able to get it pushed out and the drive still worked. So I was going down the road and got up to speed and the shifting was significantly delayed.
It's an automatic by the way. So I tried to take it on the highway and it won't shift out of 2nd gear or 3rd. I know for a fact that overdrive isn't working so i'm doing 50mph down the road and hitting 2500 RPM. I don't know what the deal is but for about 8 months there has been a rumbling vibration when it tries to go into overdrive and when I accelerate quickly I force it to downshift and the rumbling goes away but it still shifted into overdrive when it got passed the rumbling and vibration. It's a 1997 C1500 2WD 5.7L Silverado.

I went to get in car today, and the driver screen, needles, and dash lighting was flicking or pulsing.. like a wave rolling through the lcd. its got 1k miles on it, jsw tdi.
i did open the trunk, without unlocking from fob, just trunk button, then it auto locked again when i shut it. have never done that before, so maybe this causes it? i let it sit awhile, and all back to normal.
on a side note, got my 20% tint on all around today and looking good need a drop then wheels.

As the title states, my 1.8 liter manual will not start. No clicking noises, nothing. Once inside the car, the lights and the auto lock work, but the radio, auto trunk, auto gas hinge, windows and radio will not function. The radio says safe mode. I checked all of the fuses, and all are fine.

My car has power. Tries to start but makes a clicking noise. Now I cant even get it out of park. It says that my power steering fluid is low but didn't think that would stop it from starting and power steering seems to be OK. It is the coldest couple of days we have had and wonder if weather is a factor.
