View 2 RepliesAny tricks that will make this job easier? They seem buried and when I reach I am only guessing as to what I am pulling out. For example, I pulled out a round cover, but what was it covering up? Must the bulb be twisted and then pulled or just pulled?
View 7 RepliesI'm having problems changing the interior lights for my prius. In particular the 3 personal lights at the front. how to change the light bulbs and what light bulbs they are?
View 13 RepliesSo on the way home tonight my passenger side bulb went out. No big deal, I pull into the auto store and pick up a set of new bulbs. The problem is now that the light that went out is not working at all. I replaced it and reset the bulb to make sure it is tightly connected and nothing. Next I try the other working bulb in the passenger socket and still nothing. All other lights work. City bulb, high beam and turn signal works in the housing.
View 3 RepliesAbout two years ago I sold my 1994 Aero (transmission was going, and other stuff) and bought a 1997 that was in much better shape. But one flaw it has is that it was used somewhere with high corrosion, so a lot of stuff is stuck or rusty. I haven't changed the rear bulbs since I got it, but this week, 2 out of three bulbs went. Actually, I only noticed the 2nd one because the blinker went too, and started blinking fast. The 3rd Brake light on top might have been out a while already.
Anyway, to my frustration, I cannot open the 3rd Brake Light to change the bulbs. Even after I removed the 2 screws, the lens won't budge. I tried gentle prying, but I can hear the plastic starting to crack. I figure there are 2 possibilities.
a) It somehow got fused to the gasket over time. or
b) It was crazy-glued shut by some insane maniac (a long-shot?). In which case I can try Acetone.
For starters, once the screws are removed, does just the red lens come out, or does the black frame around it come out with it? I tried prying on both, but one of them is surely wrong. Worst case scenario is that I break it, and have to glue it back on or get another one from a junk yard. But that is not good... Meanwhile I am living ok with just 2 brake lights.
My dad has a 2008 f350 and both reading light bulbs are burnt out. How do you get the light out to get to them ??
View 3 RepliesWant to replace my park light bulbs (the wedge bulbs housed in the high beam lens) with leds but unsure how to get these things out? They have a black plastic tab on the back of the bulb fitting which I assume is to aid removal but do you need to twist then pull or just pull straight out? They look rather flimsy so don't want risk breakage ...
View 8 RepliesAlso looked through our manuals and saw jack. Looked at the inside of the rear hatch and saw no easy way of replacing the rear tail light bulbs. I'm guessing that i would have to take out the plastic and/or carpet to get to it?
View 6 RepliesIs there a DIY on how to change the headlamp bulbs, DRL and turn bulbs? Do i need to remove the bumper cover and/or headlamp from the car or can i change the bulbs with the headlamp in place?

View 3 RepliesHow do I change my license plate bulbs in a 2010 ES350? I bought some 194 JDM Astar LEDs. I took off liner and changed backup bulbs but can't figure out how to change license plate bulbs.
View 4 RepliesI wanted to change my license plate bulbs to LED's. Can't figure out how to get to them. The book says have the dealer replace these bulbs if burnt out. I Always like to try to do things myself.
View 7 RepliesI know the instructions are somewhere, but I am having trouble figuring out how to change the headlamp bulbs (high & low beams) on the easy side-driver side. Do I need to loosen the headlamp assembly or can I just go into the headlamp assembly without removing it?
View 3 RepliesAny VCDS instructions to reset?
View 2 RepliesOkay, so after 42k miles, I had to bite the bullet 4 months before my lease is up and put yet another set of tires on my T2. Done today at reputable shop, and the TPMS is not yet registering the monitors on all four wheels. Driven about 8 miles since and they are still not registering. The indicator light is flashing for 60 seconds to indicate no signal. Should this rectify itself with some driving, as other systems on the Treg do, or is it something else. They were working immediately prior to them mounting the new tires.
View 6 RepliesI tried to convert the bulbs in my dashboard with LED bulbs..and it worked for about a month and stop working..then about a week after not having any dash lights. They came back on...but like a strobe, but not all the time..... And then it'll be fine? I'm also looking Into doing a taillight conversion to LEDs.
View 2 RepliesOne of my light bulbs for the rear license plate light is out.
what kind of light bulb I need to get?
I had my oil changed at 40,000. I am at 42,500 right now . My " change oil soon light " . Seem like a little soon ! Plus I am 5 hours from home on a ski trip. I have checked oil level it fine. Will I be fine to drive it home 5 hours back to my local dealership for oil change? Or should I find a place up here? What would cause the light to come on so soon ? I am new to this truck . My old 7.3 did not have all the BS that this truck has .
View 6 RepliesSo I think someone reset the headlights on my r32 with a different setting (previous owner) The h7 halogen bulbs do not come on while your driving regardless of the position of the light switch. was wondering is it possible to get a euro switch and program those H7 to be a fog light? I plan on doing a lot of winter driving when the time comes and having a set of yellow fogs support a ton.
