08 R32. Having problems with their A/C. It was working one week an not the next. There is no sign of any leaks or any damage to any hoses or the compressor. There is power to compressor but doesn't seem as if the clutch is engaging.
View 5 RepliesWe have a 2008 LWB Phaeton. It had some bodywork done on the back wheel arch last week ( neighbour ran into it!) and a tyre reconditioned. As we drove away from the garage we noticed that the whole of the dashboard was not working nothing at all, no speedo, rev, fuel etc etc.
Took it to vw who ran a quick test and thought it may be an earth somewhere as the voltage was reading 10 and not of 12, but couldn't find out where as they would need to look at diagrams on a Phaeton as they don't see many, and they were not able to do for another two weeks.
Our car is currently sitting in an independent garage, who normally look after it, with their mechanics scratching their heads as to whats wrong with it. As they said its like the ignition is not speaking to the the dash etc.
2005 F150 5.4L A/C stopped working. All fuses are good. If I jump the two inboard terminals on the relay under the hood my A/C comes compressor engages and A/C works. The relay seems to be good, so where do I go next? The relay has no diagram on it so i do not know which side is coil and which side is "contact/switch" but if I plug it in I can feel it "click". How do I definitively test this relay and if it is working, what is the next step to troubleshooting.

View 6 RepliesI have a 2008 Camry 4 LE. My turn blinkers and reverse lights have stopped working and i'm 90% its a bad relay. I have checked all fuses and they are good. I just have a problem locating the relay. I think i saw it right above the fuse box under the dash in the driver side but i'm not 100% sure.
View 11 RepliesThere is a problem in radio of my 2008 Hyundai Sonata. The radio display illuminates but does not display anything. But sometimes it displays ok magically then again problem appears. All the buttons are working and sound is ok.
But, a week ago radio stopped working at all. When i press on/off button, nothing happens. Only once in 2-3 days it works for some hours then again turns off.
I'm new and just read a thread from 2008 talking about malfunctioning overdrive. My overdrive has stopped working. It was intermittent for a while and now won't come on. A recommendation was made to replace the transmission sensor cable. How do I find/access the sensor cable for my transmission? Is there a website that shows pictures and gives instructions.

View 1 Replies I was having a problem where my headlights were turning off every time I would turn my directional signals on (2004 F150). Started out that it was mainly during left turns, but recently it affected right turns as well. Did a bit of google research as well as asking a mechanic to take a look at it while he was repairing something else, and all signs seemed to point to a bad multifunction switch.
So I replaced the mfs, and now my headlights don't work at all. The high beams work when I flash them, but not when I click them on fully. The parking lights work as well as the directionals. Took the truck into Ford and they are saying the headlight switch is bad. Does this sound right? After blowing $100+ on a mfs I'd hate to drop on a headlight switch only to find that it too, doesn't fix the problem. Not to mention NOBODY around here seems to carry the switch in stock. I checked the 2 fuses for the headlights and they looked fine.
This is for a 2008 NL packaged prius. Bought car used, with one remote.
Anyway, I accidentally pushed the key button and now the sks functions don't work. Car still (un)locks by pushing buttons on key fob. Car still starts by inserting fob into slot.
Stock FM/CD/SAT radio that came with my Sonata, AM stopped working intermittently while FM and XM both still worked. Upgraded the radio to JVC with Bluetooth and found that AM still does not work. FM works fine as well as all other functions.
View 2 RepliesGot a 2008 Hyundai Accent. Yesterday, the blower motor just stopped working. I had just started it up, the heater came on for about five seconds. There was no noise, no funny smell, nobody had done anything to it. It just stopped. I checked the ac fuse and it looked fine. I looked in the fuse box under the hood, and I'd like to check the fusible link for the blower motor to see if it has a problem. Is this something I could do and how? Also is there anything else I can do to diagnose the cause of the problem?

My rear defrost stopped working at some point towards the end of last winter. I recently started to need it again with fall weather in Pennsylvania. I was able to find the fuse for it. I replaced it and that did not solve the problem. I took off the trim around the rear hatch window to make sure all the connections were solid and they were. Also the grid seems intact, I don't see any breaks in the defroster lines. The rear view mirror defrosters work whenever I hit the button to turn on the rear defrost.
At this point I am considering changing the rear defrost relay. I think it is located next to the fuse ...
I have a 2008 Prius. The blower for the AC and heat stopped working. I have checked the two AC fuses and they are okay. I used the touch screen diagnostics mode on the touch screen and it appears that the touch screen and the screen switches are working. Any other things to check?
How hard is it to access the blower motor to replace or to check if it is getting power? How much of the dash has to be disassembled?
Mother in law's 2008 Chevy Aveo had the ac stop working. I put gauges on the vehicle, and it was low on freon. I recharged the system, and the ac now works. Problem is, the fan under the hood cycles on and off. On every other vehicle I have had, the cooling fan should stay on the entire time the ac is working. This fan comes on for a few seconds, then shuts off. Every time it shuts off, my high side reading approach 300 psi. Then it comes on and high side drops to 200 psi. Is there an obvious reason that this is happening? Is it supposed to happen?
Forgot to mention, the ambient temp is 80 F, low side is 40, high side is 200, dash temp is 55 F. (A little high)
I have a 2003 F150 4x4. One day my cruise control was working fine and the next it wouldn't work at all. When I push the set button the little green light in the dash blinks on then off and the cruise won't set. Any way that I can check to see what it might be myself or am I going to have to pay a dealer to fix it?

Figured it blew the bulb so I replaced it and still nothing. High beam still works, low beam doesn't. Checked the low beam fuses and they seem to be fine. 2004 FX4

He said some of those LED brake light needs to be reprogrammed after installation at the dealership but he is not sure until he get it installed. Does the LED assembly needs to be programmed after installation?
View 5 RepliesMy passenger window switch has stopped working. At first it did not want to open and close using the main switch on the driver door . (2008 1.6 3 door hatch). Then it also stopped operating on the single switch by the passenger door. Luckily its in a closed position. Is there any possible fixes, bar having to buy a new switch, as its proving hard to locate. Mostly main switches for the sedans available.
