I need to replace the center mesh grill on the front bumper. Is there anything I need to be careful with or watch out for. when I pull on the old grill or when I push the new one back into place? Does it come out easily or is it tricky?

View 4 RepliesIm switching out the bulbs on the front turn signal light today, I reach my fat little fingers in there and can barely pull off the wire harness that goes into the back of it. When I did this the wire coverings on all three wires just disintegrated I would guess from the heat inside the headlight. Wel there's a short from where they are touching and my signals don't work at all. my question is I can hardly even reach my fingers down in there too remove that wiring harness ( which is the shortest wire ive ever seen) is it necessary for me to remove the grill the front bumper and each headlight in order to access the wires better?

Nothing else. It is a 2002 all black limited.

View 22 RepliesMy 2002 B5.5 Variant received some "tough love" in a parking lot recently, with the result that one of the front marker lights (in the fender ahead of the front wheel, on the side) was broken. I see that I can push on the light housing and it'll move in a bit, but how can I remove the cover (the colored plastic bit) entirely to replace it with a new, not-busted one?
View 1 RepliesI have a 2003 W8 wagon and my front turn signal bulb went out. I need to replace it, but am having some problems. I removed the high beam cover to get to the turn signal socket, but I am having problem removing the socket. I was able to turn the socket slightly and was hoping I could just pull it back, unfortunately it doesn't seem to want to move. Is there a trick to remove the turn signal socket so I can remove the bulb? I don't want to force anything in fear of breaking something. there has to be a way.

View 11 RepliesThe driver and passenger side were no problems at all, but the center vent is giving me trouble. I've seen the how-to, but can't get it to pop out. I don't really have a proper screwdriver, at home, to push up on the two clips on the top inside of the vent, but I used a hard plastic interior trim removal tool, while prying at the top with another. I have left the bottom controls in as I can't pull the left side buttons out enough to disconnect them while the vent is still in.
