Have these installed? The rear lines are not wanting to stay in the OEM securing clips? Used search already as I though I read about this issue before but couldn't find anything.

View 1 RepliesI installed rvc couple of months ago. When I put in reverse, only shows straight yellow lines on screen. Is there any way to activate to lines turn with steering wheel (like cars with parking sensors)? I was wondering if there is Vag_com trick available for this option.
View 7 RepliesI bought a 2011 golf 6 2.5 litre 5 door. The second day driving it I discovered a noise coming from under the middle vents in the dash. I took it back to the dealer and they said it was a noise coming because the cable shift was missing some clips and it was rattling in the undercarriage. They replaced the entire cable and I'm finding the same problem only not as loud as before (however it is still there). I'm finding it is making noise around 1200 rpm when going up or down a hill (especially when he car has back passengers in the back or any form of weight in the trunk). The moment I accelerate the noise goes away. Noise is also more pronounced when I have the summer rims and tires on (18s oem). At this point the sound is intermediate however it's something i want to get out of the way. What it could be.?
View 2 RepliesI have led bulbs in the stock tray Because I can't find red bulbs to fit these tails. Can't put white bulbs because my brake lights will be white and NYPD will be on my case
1.w euro switch turned off one bar in 3rd brake light on and top two bulbs on but dim
2. When car is turned off switch off top bulbs stay on but dim but they turn off after a few minutes
3. Replaced both license plate bulbs and only the left side bulb will illuminate but if I turn the euro switch from on to off quickly the right bulb will Flicker as if it had a quick jolt of power to it.
4.turn signals are led ambers they blink way faster than stock is this normal?
Our 2005 Excursion has these side moldings (mouldings? whatever) on the doors. Plastic things, probably intended to absorb impacts from shopping carts, etc.
My driver side one is just hanging by the top. Looks to me like these are just taped on?
What I have to do to properly secure this bad boy? Should I remove the whole thing, remove the old tape, and use a whole new set of tape in both places? Does one apply the tape door-first, or molding-first?
And, most importantly, what kind of tape should I use, and where should I get it?
I have a 2002 Kia Sedona mini van and one of the issues with this van is that the metal cooling lines that run from the engine area back to the back of the van heating core rust away and have to be replaced. Can you just cut those away and put like a u joint on it so that the anti freeze doesn't go back there and thus reducing the huge cost of replacing those lines? Yes I know that means no heat in the back of the van but I don't use the heat back there now and haven't through this past horrible winter. I am just trying to reduce the cost I am looking at for this repair that I know I am going to have to address in the coming months.
View 12 RepliesI'm 1/2 way through a flush and water pump replacement. Its going to get cold and I don't want to blow any heater lines. I have the pump off and the block drained (I also managed to get some coolant into the block - but not the rear heat).
I don't see an easy place at the front to disconnect the lines. I'd like to blow them out just to be safe. What is the best place to disco in the front or if I even need to - can I just disco 1 in the rear and then blow in both direction?
I fear that there may be some vent door closed that will prevent flow. I can't start the truck - I can turn the key on.
I tinted my Prius v's rear hatch window with SunTek CXP film yesterday morning. When driving at night with the tinted window, there are streaks of glare along rear defogger lines caused by the headlights behind me.

Have to replace both rear brake lines, I can't find any information about doing the job. I need to know what size the lines are and what type of flair is on the ends?

View 14 RepliesI am going to fail State safety inspection due to a problem with my brakes. Months ago when I was trying to get it through emissions testing the mechanics looked under the truck to see where the brakes were leaking. All they told me was the rear lines are rusted through and need replacing.
From my reading I believe the lines are 3/16" line and I think they go around the back of the fuel tank and up the frame rail. Correct?
My questions are, what length line do I need (I am not a hard-line expert, but I will try). I want to order some ss line so it won't rust through again. Is the system made of small sections threaded together? Or is it one long section? And what else would I need/want to replace along the way?
I bought my 2012 RX 350 April 2012. I noticed that the rear mirror had like melting or warp look. Then the side door panel and in back -wing of car (spooler?) had some ripples lines. I went to dealer first they said they would order parts for mirror and side panel (this was fix awhile back sept). but the have to get factory inspector to come out and inspect car for the spooler part.
I dropped my car off because the manager says he needs to look car himself before determining anything. He told me he thinks I parked my car near high efficiency windows and had reflected and caused the melting or warp or ripple on my car.
I just installed my air ride and te lines from my compressors are melting at the connection to he other line so my compressors are not kicking on when they need to, why is this happening? I can touch my air ride now because it's low on air.

View 1 RepliesOne of the high-pressure lines on the back of the rack, close to the exhaust, has rotted out. It was smoking as it leaked right under the exhaust pipe and burned off. The rest of the freshly filled fluid was all over the ground. I crawled under and got a good look at the high pressure line, but where to source these, and if they are even replaceable? I have not tried to remove it yet, but perhaps a shop could bend a new one as a cheap alternative to a new rack. I was also thinking of checking out the pick n pull for a line.
View 2 RepliesYesterday , my feed fuel line was dry rotting and leaking gas so I bought 516 fuel injection hose and replaced them. Pulled fuse 28 , started the car and let it die to release pressure , fixed the hoses and put the fuse back in and now it just cranks forever. I have spark , and I'm getting fuel just not sure if it's adequate pressure. When I open the door the pump did sound a little funny when it primed. I'm gonna pull it out and check it later but right now I'm completely stumped. I did this last night around 8pm and it's 4:30 am the next morning and still not start.
View 6 RepliesI heard that when peeling off the tinted window film can cause damage to the heated lines at the back window shield.... If I bring it to a tint shop and let the people there do it, are the chances high? And if the heated lines did get damaged, how much would it cost to replace them?
View 6 RepliesThe front bumper keeps detaching from the clips on the side. Toyota has attempted to fix it 3 times with no success. The clips are not broken or cracked. The clips are the same on late 2012 Camry.
View 3 Replies I have an 05 Passat and I'm trying to remove the bumper cover so I can get to the crank bolt. I have all the bolts out but cannot get the three clips removed from where the grill attaches to the bumper. I can see them with a flashlight but can't get them released with a screwdrive.
It's not covered in my manual. How do I get them released?
