Golf/GTI VII :: Wipers Move About An Inch While Turning Off Car?

Noticed yesterday when I turn my car off, the wipers move about an inch. It is very odd. Is there something I am missing?

Golf/GTI VI :: 2010 - Windshield Wipers Jumping Up About Half An Inch?
I have a 2010 JSW TDI and when I shut off the engine, sometimes the front windshield wipers "jump" up about half an inch. This also causes a "clunk" sound when they hit against the windshield. It has not been raining where I live so I didn't accidentally leave it in intermittent or anything. Is this normal? I'm beginning to get worried that there may be an electrical problem with my Jetta.

I drive with the seat slider in the full back position. I'd like to gain another inch or so....just enough to where I'm not touching the rear seat. Not worried about rear passengers. How easy would it be to either reposition the seat anchor points or modify the seat itself to do this? Also, has anyone tilted the front of the seat up a little to give more thigh support? I was also thinking of shimming or otherwise raising the front half of the seat maybe 1/2 inch to give my legs a little more support.

Turn wipers on and motor growls but wipers do not move, checked 30 amp fuse and it is good, all other functions of the multifunction switch are good.

My wipers are set in "maintenance mode" or something needs to be adjusted. Every time I start my car and start to move, the wipers move slightly and make a jolt sound. At first I wasn't sure what it was, thought maybe it was the brakes or something but a few weeks ago I realized it was the wipers moving. It only happens after I start the car and start moving. After that initial take-off, they don't move anymore until I re-start the engine.
Is this normal or do I need to adjust something? Just know that the wipers do have a maintenance mode.
Golf/GTI VI :: Wipers On When Turning On Indicator
This weird thing happened to my Golf MK6 this morning. First when I turned on the car, I realised that there was "engine fault" on the screen but it went away. Then after about 10 minutes drive, when I turned on the indicator, the wiper also turned on (only once).

Details about my car: '91 Nissan Maxima. His name is Max. 183,265ish miles on it. Transmission was replaced maybe 8 years ago(?) My dad said the oil was changed at the 500 mark. Filled the tank up at Citgo with regular gas on Friday and only drove about 50 miles (I fill up every 200 miles or less). Max turns on but you have to floor it just to move an inch and it smells like gas.

I'm new here and I am having issues with my Lumina. It is a 93 Chevy Lumina Euro 3.1L 6 cylinder and has 192K miles on it. It has had one owner for the past ten years that I know for a fact.
Here's what happened. I was coming back home (2hr trip) The brakes had started making that roaring sound on the way down and had gotten worse when I got ready to make the trip home. Okay so I know the brake pads needed to be changed. No big deal. Well going down the road at 65mph I round a curve and my car starts making this REALLY LOUD grinding clattering noise. It took me forever to get it stopped. I will still in the road and I needed to get it out bc it was right around a curve. So I put it in drive and it wont move. So I put it in reverse and it moves just fine with no problems and no noises made. After backing it out of the road I tried to put it in drive. It moved forward a few inches and stopped like something was binding it up.
So here's the problem.. it will move in reverse with no problems at all and only creeps a couple of inches forward then stops. The harder you press on the gas the more it tries to lurch forward but will not move.. like it's caught on something.
We changed the rear brakes on it. Discovered that the driver side rear rotor and caliper were broke beyond repair so we replaced those too. Still the same.. moves forward a lil bit and stops but will go in reverse just fine. We don't seem to think its the tranny bc it pulls hard and seems to not have any problems pulling.. but its like something is bound up somewhere. That is the best way I know how to explain this situation.

I had my R for 6 years now and the electrical system is starting to go bad. Out of nowhere, my headlights, wipers, ac control, horn, and turning signals just stopped working. At least my radio works.

Got in the car this morning and my headlights,windshield wipers, and turn signals would all not turn on or work.
I'm not sure if the this is a problem with the stalks on the steering column or possibly a relay.
When i pull the left stalk my high beams will come on but only when i do that.
The windshield wipers would not turn on at all and the windshield wash would not even spray as well.
I also noticed that my AC/Heat controls wouldnt respond either. Any clue as to what it might be.
Passat (B6) :: Wipers Don't Move Up / Down Anymore
Used to have the wipers move up or down about 1" at stop lights to reverse the blade and extend their life. Now, that doesn't seem to happen. I went into the convenience settings some time ago, but don't believe I changed anything relating to this.

Sometimes when I take the key out of the ignition, the wipers move up slightly. I notice the passenger's blade most as it parks a bit higher than the driver's blade, so when they move up the right one is more obvious. They don't move a full cycle, just up about an inch and stop.

2013 Accord Sport, 3k miles ... It's 10 degrees in WI today. This is 1st time I had this problem. I press the washer lever towards and the washer fluid comes out, but the wipers don't move. I have a 2002 Durango 2WD about 115000 miles. I have steering noise and some play. I can hear the noise when the truck is park and move the wheel from side to side about an inch. I had the upper ball joints replace, outer tie-rods and wheel bearings some time ago. Could this be the gear box. I now this trucks are notorious for ball joint problems if it says Durango in the back yeah your ball joins are bad. At the moment I am parking the truck and have it check over the weekend.

I have noticed the noisy windshield wipers, the condensation on the windshield, minor binding problems when turning, and some hesitation/jumpiness in the throttle. I talked to a dealer today and they said if I had a list of things to fix, they could do it in a day.
Chrysler - Voyager :: 2000 - Wipers All Of A Sudden Not Turning Off?
i have a 2000 Chrysler Grand Voyager. So as a preface, I've had some intermittent electrical issues, the wipers all of a sudden started acting odd ,not turning off, the intermittent setting working oddly, or won't return to the park position. So as i pull off the highway to day my van just stops running. I was fortunately close to my destination, and was able to get towed by a friend the rest of the way.
Now here is the odd part, any time there was a load on the tow strap (attached to the motor mount) it tried to start itself, yes i was in neutral, the speedo would act up (jumping from no reading to 120mph), and the wipers started to go!?!?! I've gt a charger on it wondering if I have some issues due to funky battery voltage, other than that I'm not sure what way to go with this.
