Golf/GTI VII :: Right Daytime Headlight Doesn't Work - Exposed Wires On Front Collision Sensor

So I got my new GTI yesterday. There were 3 problems with this car that are going to be easy fixes but don't breathe an air of confidence in the assembly of this car. I don't have pics of everything due to Christmas madness but here are the three things I've found wrong with the car so far.
1) right daytime running headlight doesn't work.
2) there is no mirror light drivers side. Only a hole.
3) there are exposed wires on the front collision sensor.
Like I said these are simple fixes but disappointing on a brand new car.

I just traded in my 2006 Prius with a 2013. I live in the country and always have to deal with mice. The 2013 has so many exposed wires whereas the old one did not. Is there any suggestion on sealing them and creating some barrier. I'll send a picture if needed but one circuit board has lots of tiny and tasty looking wires on top. It doesn't seem like much protection but also looks incredibly fragile.

The right front headlight sometimes doesn't work on our Lexus. One time my wife was driving home after dark and it didn't work. When she got home I tried it and it worked fine. A couple days ago she was pulled over by the police because the same headlight was out. Once again when I went to try it, it was fine. What might be the problem. Loose connection or wiring?? By the way... I have been reading about the windows popping out and the clips breaking. Same thing happened at around 60,000 miles to the right side, with no tint.

I got my LED DRL kit today, the harness has 3 wires red(+), black(-), and white(for connect to (+) of headlight so when headlight on the drl will go off). So I will connect black wire to negative of battery or ground, red wire to ACC or ign. So my question is how can I find ACC and how can I connect white wire to (+) of headlights? I have 2007 sante fe. I just replaced the low beam,now the low beam doesn't work at all. I checked the fuse .. Just fine checked the wiring harness and plug no broken wire, no corrosion....

About 3 weeks ago i have noticed that the right headlight doesn't work. I assumed its the bulb and bought a set from kbcarstuff. Installed them today and it still doesn't work. I tried to swap the bulbs and non of them worked in the right headlight and all of them worked fine in the left one. I assumed it is a fuse and went to check it out(number 80 and 81 fuses, 15A are all sweet). Is it the ballast or something also?

So i have an exhaust leak that melted the wires on o2 sensor bank 1 sensor one. This put o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 into lean mode and i found this out last week. Made the appointment. Was gonna run some test and replace the o2s if needed. But this morning i go to leave for work and my coolant light comes on 50 feet up the road. I pull over look at my coolant. There was about an inch of coolant left in the tank. Roll back down the street turn the car off and leave it. Im thinking i blew my head gasket running lean. When i get back from work the coolants in the same spot so i jack the car up to see if i can find the coolant leak and i dont see anything. Drop the car back down and the coolant levels back to normal so im alittle lost on whats going on here.
Also after work before coolant level returned to normal i reved it up it blew a little white smoke then black. Nothing really dark. It was quite faint. And also the coolant in the tank would bubble from the back under rev when it was low. Nothing at idle. When coolant level returned. I didn't see any smoke at all and i was unable to check coolant.

2007 Santa Fe Limited. The matter is that, fuel sensor on instrument cluster doesn't work and MIL is on. I replaced both fuel sensors and it didn't work. May be instrument cluster is bad? Or should I replace ECU? I don't know what to do.

My front left turn signal won't work, the signal on my dash board doesn't work, and the signal in the rear blinks rapidly. but the whole right side is fine. this is aggravating, I have changed the lightbulb in the front and nothing happened. It still doesn't work.

Last night we went to look at some Christmas lights in a drive through park. There was a sign in the beginning of the park that said "Headlights off please." This seems to be impossible on the Touareg. I turned the headlight switch to off but the daytime running lights stayed on. After calling my salesman at VW, he asked many service techs how to do this and they have never been approached with such a question. They were stumped. The salesman told me that I can shut the daytime running lights off by depressing the emergency brake but that doesn't even work. The lights still remain on. Is there a way to shut the headlights off?

AC on a R32 TURBO with fmic is working and cold. blowing around 55* in the shop, idling outside for a long time. everything works great.
drive it about 20 minutes or so.... get hot and doesn't work anymore. pressures are good, fans both work, car doesn't heat up past where it should be.

My AUX doesn't seem to work (had the IPOD plugged into the M-M cable and the other end plugged into the AUX in the glovebox). When I hit CD nothing happens, when I hold it down, I get CD-MIX. When I hit SAT multiple times it cycles through SAT1, SAT2, SAT3, but never shows AUX. I don't see anything regarding AUX in the manual either.... I have recoded my instrument panel to UK among a couple other vagcom mods. Can I fix this with the VAGCOM? Can I upgrade the firmware via a CD?

Had a front end collision with my 06 passat airbags were deployed went to try to start it and it wouldn't even turn over. I know you have to have the airbag module reset but shouldn't it still the turnover. Why it wouldn't?

During this week, most ppl at NA are experienced extremely cold weather, what I found is, the Prius can't do a great job to keep the front windshield clean under that kind of condition.
What I tried, front deforest bottom, or fan to front windshield and leg, both works fine for the middle area but not the top left side which is about 1/4 area of the windshield. It doesn't happen on my sienna. Usually I drive 5-10mins and the windshield are clean. What I guess is maybe the fan tunnel goes too straight to the windshield instead of blow to the rear area or maybe the outlet isn't wide enough to cover the side.

Owner of a 2012 GTI here. So for some reason that I have yet to re create, my passenger map light doesnt work sometimes. It seems to work sometimes but only when I do a full close and re-open of the car. When my doors open, they both should light up, but one doesn't. Even if I press the button.

Took my mom's new Jetta to the store today and went to unlock the trunk with the fob and it would work. Ended up unlocking the whole car and doing it that way. Tried it again at home and still nothing. The car is brand new and this was the first time using that feature. I've unlocked the trunk on my MKIV using the fob before and no problems. If its something simple, we don't really want to take it to the dealer because people aren't exactly careful.

So I have a 2009 metallic Prius and I just recently got into an accident. I ran over a fire hydrant. My front bumper went through a front collision. The left part of my front bumper is pretty much destroyed.

I just picked up my new GTI a couple weeks ago and today is the first time using the wipers. The passenger side wiper doesn't work at all. I took a look at it and the wiper is different from the driver side. The wiper itself is cheap plastic with holes every inch. The connector to the wiper arm is purple. Could this be a "temporary" wiper that was installed during shipment and the dealer forgot to switch out?

I was 4 hours into a 6 hour trip (on the way home) and my air stopped working! when i press the AC button, it lights up on settings 1,2, and 3 but NOTHING blows from the vents (whether the AC button is pressed or not, nothing comes out!) however... when I turn it to "4," air blows full blast but the AC light turns off and only blows warm air.
thinking I need to check my compressor!

my ES300h was hit on the front bumper while parked in a parking lot. It's now been at the dealer for 6 weeks trying to find the cause of the "brake" light coming on with three quick beeps for NO apparent reason. This has been happening since the collision, and with each trip to the dealer they think they have it fixed..... I can't find a common denominator for what causes the light to come on, and cannot replicate it.

Last year at WiTW, abeR noticed that my headlights were all cockeyed. He attempted to fix them but couldn't get them to work properly. The self levelers weren't working and the passenger side was always shining for squirrels.
I took it to the dealership and after a bit of troubleshooting, they replaced the entire headlight assembly. Warranty is good.
All was good with the world, but now we discovered that the passenger side is acting up again. The self levelers work when you turn on the car, but the shutter to put on the brights on the passenger side will not work when you pull the stalk.
Just seems weird that this unit is so much trouble.
