2010, 35k miles... didn't see that coming.
Looks like the hose is made of some plastic material that doesn't like flexing very much. I guess I opened the rear hatch enough times to break it.
Is this a common problem? Is there a proper size coupler available to fix this?
Having problem with a few drops of fluid occasionally dripping from the rear hatch washer nozzle? I notice it happening once a day or every other day after accelerating. Is there a quick fix or is it going to be a take it in, order parts, bring it back sort of deal?

View 4 RepliesSo as the title says the sunroof in my 2000 Jetta is leaking. I've taken down a, b, and c pillars, and the headliner. Poured water in the drain tray and no noticeable leak.. however when I spray it with the hose, the water overflows over the drain tray at the drain ends and into the car like Niagara falls. I've check all the connections, pinched open the plugs. I've already replaced the sunroof seal, which was noticeably shrunken. The new one fits snug all around but I'm still getting the leak. The water (from what i can tell) over flows the tray, runs down the headliner to the drivers side C pillar and then down into the trunk where the cd changer / safety kit was. I usually park uphill, and the one time I parked down hill and sprayed it with the hose the water was "Niagara falling" into my passenger seat.
View 4 RepliesAs the title says, this has been leaking for months now. I hardly use the rear washer, but it constantly drips out of the wiper arm. Washer fluid now bakes onto the paint in the hot sun.
View 2 RepliesWhen i try to use rear window washer the fluid comes out on the front window with front wipers not activating and rear one moving. The front washer works fine. The hose was disconnected above the headliner.
View 12 RepliesOk so I don't really use the back seats too often but on a carpool ride one of my friends whos riding in the back mentions that the armrest/tray wont come down. Im like WTF so when I get home I realize it really is stuck and im trying to find a way to fix it to no avail. Is there something really simple that I am not seeing or is it really broken?

View 3 RepliesI have a Golf-R with 2500 miles on it and when I finish washing it, water drips from both side mirror housings for a while. I have tried tilting the mirrors up and blowing water out but they continue to drip and leave drip marks down the side of the car, especially if I drive soon afterward.
I had a similar issue on my 2012 Wrangler and I drilled drain holes in the mirror mounts which allowed them to drain quickly. I'm not really wanting to take that approach with the Golf-R.
A while back I noticed the rear window washer wasn't spraying much water onto the window, then found water inside the boot (trunk) and saw there was water dripping onto the parcel shelf when I operated the rear washer and wiper.
As the car was only 6 months old at that time I didn't go fiddling around with things, thought I'd best wait until the 15,000 km service was due, which was today.
When I brought it in for the service I told the Man it was leaking. At pick up time he said they didn't find any leaks so I put the washer and wiper on and after a few seconds there was water dripping inside the rear window. So the car went back in to the mechanics who took out the plastic stoplight lens and after a few minutes the Man said that the plastic around where the water comes out was cracked.
OK, well fix it then I said. He felt it was unlikely that Hyundai would consider this a warranty issue. He agreed there was no other damage around the area and that I couldn't have caused this by backing into anything but I would need to buy a whole new lens.
I have a 1995 945SET the rear washer pump works but no water comes out of the nozzle, where do I find the rear washer nose and how do I get into it to repair or replace it?
View 2 RepliesOn the way back from work, yesterday, i ran into some rain, and noticed that there is water dripping from my door seal (right about where the oh sh!t handle is on drivers side). Now it's not a whole lot but its enough to make it annoying, about 3-4 drops per minute. Is this one of those defects i should live to live with, as with all the other cracks and noises, or should i take it to the dealer? I really don't like taking my car to the dealer for service .
View 7 RepliesWater seems to be dripping from the compressor and collecting on the lower engine cover. Not sure if it is condensation from a line I can not see or actually dumping out of the compressor. The actual drain for the evaporator is clear and draining under the passenger compartment.
I noticed this a month or two ago but thought it was just water from the rain while driving. Opened the hood today and saw it collected. Turned the car and A/C on and saw it dripping on the the fabric piece that lines the lower plastic cover. Picture Below.

So I was getting my car flashed to stage 1 at a dealership here in the Chicago suburbs and there was CSG R in there with the timing belt shredded. Turns out water pump came apart, shreded the timing belt, and apparently the pistons smashed the valves. I got a call from my friend whos a mechanic and said another one is getting towed there today with the same issue. Both have between 2k and 3k miles on them.

View 6 RepliesSo I just bottomed out really hard and I pulled over to a gas station to check out my car to see if I busted anything. I noticed on the way to the gas station that for the first two times I hit the brakes hard there was a clunking noise but now it went away. Onto the leaking part though, there are two hoses that run just along the inside of the frame on the passenger side just behind the wheel and one of the lines is leaking a lot of water. What these lines run to/from? I'm going to get the car on the lift tomorrow.

View 4 RepliesMy wife came home this evening and said our new Treg 'smelled' when she came to a stop light. She says she had no error messages or lights, other than low washer fluid. I went out, smelled nothing, so I started it up. All gauges normal. No odd sounds... no odd smells. I shut it off and looked under the car and to my surprise saw oil rapidly dripping from the drives side at about the front axle. I checked the dipstick and it showed no oil at all. I plugged in my VAG-com and checked for codes - nothing.
I'm hopeful that the engine is not now a paperweight. I suspect VW will want to fix the leak and give the truck back to me. I think at a minimum I need them to do a leak down compression check.
I recently noticed that our washer fluid is leaking. We had a massive snowstorm just over a week ago, and we accordingly went snowboarding. After returning that night, the fluid warning went off. I filled it, and that was that. We went again the next day, in which I used no washer fluid at all. The wipers alone took care of it. Anyhow, that night I kept getting the signal to top up the washer fluid again! I had added a full gallon the night before! So, I figured something was up.
Last night, I actually witnessed it dripping from underneath, about where you think it would. I wasn't able to see the actual tank, or any of the lines leading up to the filling spout, so I couldn't tell if there's a crack in anything, or if there's a bad connection somewhere.
Before that, the only indication that there might be an actual leak was "blueness" on the garage floor, but it honestly didn't look like any more than what you would get while filling the tank and having some miss and land on the ground. It wasn't a massive puddle or anything. The other indication was the "top off" warning.
I own a Honda Crv 2000. I took the car for an oil change at a local oil change shop. They overfilled the oil. I went to the city and came back, and next day the underside of the car was oily and leaky. The car was dripping oil. I immediately siphoned out 300ml of extra oil from the car. After that the leaking stopped and it does not leak/drip anymore. At the same time I saw coolant dripping from the lower radiator hose (where it meets the radiator). I noticed when the fans come on it start dripping. But as of today the coolant dripping has stopped. I am thinking of changing the hose.
